🌴 Chapter 1: Jade Keeps Getting Close to Larry

The cruise ship sailed across the sparkling ocean, surrounded by beautiful views, music, and the excitement of a getaway. Larry, Bethany, Brooke, Purnell, and Jade were all enjoying the trip. Bethany had hoped the journey would give her and Larry a chance to reconnect and work on their marriage.

But her hopes began to fade when she noticed Jade constantly trying to get Larry’s attention. Jade would laugh at his comments, find reasons to stand near him, and bring him into conversations whenever she could. Larry did not seem to take every interaction seriously, but Bethany noticed them all.

She wondered why Jade always needed to be around her husband. Bethany wanted to confront her, but she held back because she did not want to create a scene in front of everyone.

Still, Jade’s behavior continued, and Bethany found it harder to hide her frustration.

🚢 Chapter 2: Jade’s Comments Push Bethany Too Far

One day, Larry, Bethany, Brooke, Purnell, and Jade were walking around the cruise ship together. The ocean view was beautiful, and everyone was chatting. Bethany, however, kept paying attention to Jade’s remarks about Larry.

Jade began praising Larry and talking about him in a way that made their connection sound unusually close. To Bethany, it felt as though Jade was deliberately trying to get a reaction out of her.

Bethany finally turned to Jade and asked why she kept bringing Larry into every conversation.

Jade looked surprised and replied that she was only talking and did not see why Bethany had a problem with it. Her response only made Bethany more upset.

Larry tried to change the subject before the disagreement grew, but the tension between the two women remained. Brooke noticed her mother’s expression and worried that Bethany was close to losing her temper.

Later, while the group was standing together on the ship, Larry remembered that he needed to take care of something in his room. He told everyone he would be back soon and walked away.

Jade watched him leave. A short time later, she started walking in the same direction.

Bethany noticed immediately. She could not understand why Jade needed to follow Larry to his room, and her earlier suspicions returned even stronger. She watched Jade for a moment, trying to decide whether to ignore it or find out what was happening.

In the end, Bethany decided to follow her. Brooke saw her mother move away and asked where she was going.

Brooke and Purnell exchanged worried looks. They could sense that the situation was about to get worse.

Jade reached Larry’s room and began speaking with him near the doorway. Larry seemed surprised to see her there and tried to understand why she had followed him.

Before the conversation could go any further, Bethany arrived. Seeing Jade at Larry’s room was the final straw for her.

Jade turned around and said she had only come to talk to Larry. Bethany did not believe that was the whole story. She accused Jade of repeatedly seeking Larry’s attention and now following him to his room.

Their voices grew louder. Jade defended herself, while Bethany insisted that Jade was crossing a line. The argument quickly escalated, and Bethany suddenly lashed out, sparking a physical scuffle between the two women.

Larry was stunned. He had not expected a disagreement outside his room to turn into a fight. Jade and Bethany struggled against each other until Brooke and Purnell rushed over to help separate them.

Brooke could hardly believe what she was seeing. She called out to her mother, urging her to stop. Purnell hurried forward too, trying to separate the women before anyone got hurt.

Larry stepped in and helped pull them apart. Bethany was still furious and wanted Jade to explain herself, while Jade continued insisting that she had only wanted to speak with Larry.

After a tense struggle, Larry, Brooke, and Purnell finally managed to separate them. The two women continued glaring at each other, making it clear that their disagreement was far from settled.

Brooke worried about her mother’s reaction, while Purnell looked at Larry, who appeared overwhelmed by the entire situation. None of them had expected the trip to turn into such a public confrontation.

💔 Chapter 6: What Happens to the Rest of the Cruise?

Once everyone had calmed down a little, Bethany turned to Larry. Her anger was mixed with disappointment. She had come on the trip hoping they could spend time together and improve their relationship, but now she felt more upset than ever.

Larry tried to respond, but Bethany was not ready to hear him out. Jade continued to defend her actions, saying she had only wanted to talk. Bethany, however, no longer trusted her explanation.

Brooke encouraged her mother to take a breath and think carefully before doing anything else. Purnell also urged everyone to calm down rather than let the fight ruin the rest of the trip.

But one question remained: Was Jade really just trying to talk to Larry, or had her behavior crossed a boundary that Bethany could no longer ignore?
