SCENE 1: THE HOUSE – GETTING READY FOR THE FAMILY CRUISE
The house is filled with excitement as Larry and Bethany prepare for their upcoming family cruise. Suitcases are scattered across the bedroom, clothes are neatly folded on the bed, and Bethany carefully checks everything they need for the trip.
Larry stands near the closet, looking through his clothes while Bethany finishes packing her suitcase. She watches him for a moment, a mischievous smile slowly appearing on her face.
Bethany laughs softly as she places another outfit inside her suitcase. Then she looks at Larry with a mysterious smile.
Larry raises his eyebrows. His attention is now completely focused on Bethany.
Larry lets out a playful sigh and places his hands on his hips. Bethany laughs, pleased that she has managed to make him curious.
They exchange amused smiles and return to packing. For the rest of the evening, Larry keeps trying to guess what Bethany has planned, but she gives away nothing.
SCENE 2: DEPARTURE DAY – EVERYONE IS READY
The long-awaited day finally arrives. Morning sunlight streams through the windows as the family makes its final preparations. Suitcases are carried toward the door, travel bags are checked, and everyone talks excitedly about the days ahead.
Larry immediately turns toward her, realizing that she is talking about the surprise again.
Everyone finally heads out, loads their luggage, and begins the journey to the cruise terminal. The excitement continues throughout the ride.
When they arrive, the enormous ship stands before them, impressive against the bright sky. Passengers move through the terminal with their luggage as announcements echo nearby.
Larry follows her toward the entrance, shaking his head in playful frustration. The cruise has officially begun.
SCENE 3: ON BOARD – A DAY FULL OF MEMORIES
After completing the check-in process, Larry, Bethany, and the rest of the family finally board the ship. Beautiful ocean views stretch beyond the deck, and the atmosphere is lively and welcoming.
The family enjoys meals, takes photographs, shares jokes, and spends time together. For once, the usual worries seem far away.
Larry enjoys the opportunity to relax, although his curiosity about Bethany’s surprise never completely disappears.
Larry looks disappointed for a moment before laughing.
Later, while they stand near the railing and watch the ocean, Larry turns toward her again.
As afternoon fades into evening, the ocean reflects the changing colors of the sky. Eventually, everyone returns to their rooms to freshen up and prepare for the night.
Bethany tells Larry that she needs a little time to get ready. Larry agrees and waits, still wondering what she has planned. The hours of anticipation are finally coming to an end.
SCENE 4: NIGHT FALLS – BETHANY’S SECRET PLAN
The cruise ship glows beneath the night sky. Outside, the ocean is dark and peaceful, with moonlight shimmering across the water. The corridors become quieter as passengers settle into their rooms.
Inside Larry and Bethany’s room, the atmosphere has changed completely. Warm bedside lamps cast a soft golden glow across the walls. Elegant decorations add a touch of romance, while the neatly arranged bed makes the room feel intimate and special.
Bethany has taken time to prepare everything. She stands near the bed wearing an elegant black satin night suit, smiling as she waits for Larry to discover her surprise.
A few minutes later, the sound of the door opening breaks the silence. Larry walks into the room, expecting an ordinary evening after a long day of activities.
But the moment he looks up, he stops in his tracks. His eyes move from the romantic decorations to the soft lighting, then finally settle on Bethany.
Larry slowly looks around the room again, trying to make sense of everything.
Larry takes another look around the room, clearly impressed by the thought Bethany has put into the evening.
She gently gestures toward the bed, inviting him to come closer. Larry remains near the doorway for another moment, still looking stunned.
