Cameron Warns Brooke to Stay Away from Isaiah!

Brooke stood in the middle of the living room, staring at her phone with a smile that disappeared the moment Cameron walked through the front door. She quickly locked the screen and slipped the phone into her pocket.

Cameron noticed the sudden change in her expression.

CAMERON: “Who were you talking to?”

BROOKE: “Nobody. Why are you asking me that?”

CAMERON: “Because you were smiling at your phone, and the second I walked in, you hid it.”

Brooke rolled her eyes and turned away.

BROOKE: “I was talking to Isaiah. Is that a problem?”

Cameron took a deep breath, trying to control his frustration.

CAMERON: “Brooke, we need to talk about Isaiah.”

BROOKE: “Not again. I’m tired of hearing you talk about him.”

CAMERON: “Then maybe you should listen for once.”

Brooke turned around, her expression hardening.

BROOKE: “Watch your tone with me, Cameron.”

CAMERON: “I’m serious. You need to stay away from Isaiah.”

Brooke let out a bitter laugh.

BROOKE: “Excuse me? You don’t get to tell me who I can and cannot talk to.”

CAMERON: “I’m not trying to control you. I’m trying to protect you from someone who doesn’t care about you.”

Brooke shook her head.

BROOKE: “You don’t know anything about our relationship.”

CAMERON: “I know enough. Isaiah doesn’t have money, Brooke. He’s constantly asking you for help, and every time you give him something, he comes back asking for more.”

BROOKE: “He’s going through a difficult time. There’s nothing wrong with helping someone you care about.”

CAMERON: “Helping someone is one thing. Letting them use you is another.”

Brooke’s face turned red with anger.

BROOKE: “You have no right to talk about him like that!”

CAMERON: “Then tell me why he’s always asking you for money. Tell me why he keeps making promises he never keeps. Tell me why you have to defend him every time someone questions his intentions.”

Brooke opened her mouth, but no words came out.

Cameron stepped closer, his voice becoming quieter.

CAMERON: “Brooke, he doesn’t love you the way you think he does. He wants your money. And the worst part is, you know he’s hurting you, but you keep making excuses for him.”

Brooke stared at him, her eyes filling with anger.

BROOKE: “You think you’re better than him because you have money? You think you can decide who’s good enough for me?”

CAMERON: “That’s not what I’m saying.”

BROOKE: “Then what are you saying?”

CAMERON: “I’m saying you deserve someone who cares about you, not someone who sees you as a way to solve his problems.”

Brooke suddenly slapped Cameron across the face.

The sound echoed through the room.

Cameron stood still, shocked by what had just happened.

CAMERON: “Brooke…”

BROOKE: “Don’t you ever talk about Isaiah like that again!”

She shoved him in the chest.

Cameron took a step backward, trying to keep his balance.

CAMERON: “Stop it. I’m not trying to fight you.”

BROOKE: “Then stop talking about my relationship!”

Brooke struck him again, this time hitting his shoulder. Cameron raised his hands defensively and stepped away from her.

CAMERON: “Brooke, calm down!”

BROOKE: “Don’t tell me to calm down!”

She continued hitting him, her anger growing with every second. Cameron tried to move toward the doorway, but Brooke grabbed his arm and pulled him back.

CAMERON: “Let go of me!”

BROOKE: “You’re not going anywhere until you take back what you said!”

Cameron looked at her in disbelief.

CAMERON: “You really believe I’m lying to you?”

BROOKE: “Yes! You’re jealous because Isaiah makes me happy!”

CAMERON: “Does he make you happy, Brooke? Or does he make you feel like you have to keep proving yourself to him?”

Brooke froze.

For a brief moment, Cameron thought his words had reached her.

Then her phone began ringing.

She glanced at the screen.

Isaiah’s name appeared.

Brooke immediately answered.

BROOKE: “Hey, baby.”

Her voice softened instantly.

Cameron watched her expression change, and the frustration on his face turned into sadness.

ISAIAH: “Brooke, I need you to do something for me.”

BROOKE: “What happened?”

ISAIAH: “I’m in trouble. I need some money tonight.”

Brooke looked toward Cameron.

BROOKE: “How much?”

ISAIAH: “Five thousand dollars. I promise I’ll pay you back.”

Cameron shook his head.

BROOKE: “Isaiah, I just gave you money yesterday.”

ISAIAH: “I know, baby, but this is different. I wouldn’t ask if I didn’t need it.”

Brooke hesitated.

ISAIAH: “You trust me, don’t you?”

Brooke looked down at the floor.

BROOKE: “Of course I do.”

ISAIAH: “Then please help me.”

She ended the call without answering.

Cameron stared at her.

CAMERON: “You heard him.”

BROOKE: “Don’t.”

CAMERON: “He just asked you for another five thousand dollars.”

BROOKE: “I said don’t!”

CAMERON: “Brooke, please. Think about what you’re doing.”

She suddenly turned toward him.

BROOKE: “You don’t understand! Isaiah needs me!”

CAMERON: “And what about you? Who is there for you?”

Brooke’s expression changed.

Her eyes filled with tears, but she quickly wiped them away.

BROOKE: “I don’t need you to feel sorry for me.”

CAMERON: “I’m not feeling sorry for you. I’m worried about you.”

BROOKE: “Then stop trying to ruin my relationship!”

Cameron looked at her for a long moment.

CAMERON: “I never wanted to ruin anything. I just wanted you to see the truth before he hurts you even more.”

Brooke shook her head and stepped away.

BROOKE: “Get out.”

CAMERON: “Brooke…”

BROOKE: “I said get out!”

Cameron slowly walked toward the door.

Before he could reach it, Brooke’s phone rang again.

She looked at the screen and answered immediately.

BROOKE: “Isaiah?”

Her expression changed as she listened.

BROOKE: “What do you mean you’re coming here?”

Cameron stopped walking.

ISAIAH: “I need to talk to you in person. And don’t tell Cameron anything.”

Brooke looked toward Cameron, who was now watching her carefully.

BROOKE: “Why? What happened?”

ISAIAH: “Just trust me. I’ll explain everything when I get there.”

The call ended.

Brooke lowered her phone, visibly shaken.

CAMERON: “What did he say?”

BROOKE: “Nothing.”

CAMERON: “Brooke, I heard you. He’s coming here, isn’t he?”

She didn’t answer.

Cameron stepped closer.

CAMERON: “Listen to me. Whatever he tells you, don’t give him any money until you know the truth.”

Brooke’s eyes flashed with anger.

BROOKE: “You have no idea what he’s going through.”

CAMERON: “Then let him explain it without asking you for money.”

A loud knock suddenly came from the front door.

Brooke looked toward it.

Cameron slowly turned his head.

Another knock followed.

ISAIAH: “Brooke! Open the door!”

Brooke rushed toward the entrance, but Cameron moved in front of her.

BROOKE: “Move, Cameron!”

CAMERON: “Not until you promise me you’ll listen.”

BROOKE: “You’re not stopping me from seeing him!”

She pushed past him and opened the door.

Isaiah stood outside, looking nervous. His eyes immediately went to Cameron.

ISAIAH: “What is he doing here?”

BROOKE: “He was just leaving.”

Isaiah stepped inside.

ISAIAH: “Good. Because I need to talk to you about something important.”

Cameron crossed his arms.

CAMERON: “Then say it.”

Isaiah looked uncomfortable.

ISAIAH: “This doesn’t concern you.”

CAMERON: “It concerns me when you’re asking Brooke for money.”

Isaiah’s expression hardened.

ISAIAH: “You need to stay out of my business.”

CAMERON: “Then stop making your problems her responsibility.”

Brooke stepped between them.

BROOKE: “Both of you, stop!”

Isaiah turned toward her.

ISAIAH: “Brooke, I came here because I need your help. But if Cameron is going to keep interfering, maybe I should just leave.”

Brooke immediately grabbed his hand.

BROOKE: “No. Don’t go.”

Cameron looked at her, his face filled with disappointment.

CAMERON: “Brooke, please. Don’t let him manipulate you.”

Isaiah suddenly pulled his hand away from Brooke.

ISAIAH: “You know what? Maybe Cameron is right about one thing.”

Brooke stared at him.

BROOKE: “What are you talking about?”

Isaiah looked directly into her eyes.

ISAIAH: “Maybe you really don’t trust me.”

Brooke’s expression crumbled.

BROOKE: “Isaiah, that’s not true.”

ISAIAH: “Then prove it.”

He held out his hand.

ISAIAH: “Give me the money, Brooke. Right now.”

Brooke looked at Cameron, then at Isaiah.

Cameron shook his head slowly.

CAMERON: “Brooke, don’t.”

Isaiah’s voice suddenly became cold.

ISAIAH: “If you don’t trust me, just say it.”

Brooke stood frozen between the two men, her hands trembling.

Then she reached into her purse.

Cameron’s eyes widened.

CAMERON: “Brooke, what are you doing?”

She pulled out her phone and looked at Isaiah.

BROOKE: “I’m going to help you.”

Isaiah smiled.

But before Brooke could transfer the money, a notification appeared on her screen.

It was a message from an unknown number.

Brooke opened it.

Her face went completely pale.

Cameron stepped closer.

CAMERON: “What is it?”

Brooke slowly turned the phone toward him.

The message read:

“Don’t give Isaiah another dollar. He isn’t telling you the truth about where your money is going.”

Brooke looked up at Isaiah.

BROOKE: “What does this mean?”

Isaiah’s smile disappeared.

ISAIAH: “Brooke, don’t listen to that.”

BROOKE: “Then explain it!”

Isaiah glanced at Cameron, then back at Brooke.

For the first time, he looked genuinely afraid.

ISAIAH: “I can explain everything.”

Brooke’s voice trembled.

BROOKE: “Then start talking.”

Isaiah took a deep breath.

ISAIAH: “The money you gave me… I didn’t use it for what I told you.”

Cameron stepped forward.

CAMERON: “What did you use it for?”

Isaiah looked at Brooke.

ISAIAH: “I was trying to pay off a debt.”

Brooke’s eyes widened.

BROOKE: “What debt?”

Isaiah lowered his head.

ISAIAH: “The kind of debt that could destroy my life.”

Before Brooke could respond, someone knocked loudly on the front door again.

Isaiah turned toward the sound.

His face went pale.

ISAIAH: “Oh, no…”

Cameron looked at him.

CAMERON: “Who is that?”

Isaiah backed away from the door.

ISAIAH: “Brooke, whatever happens, don’t open it.”

The knocking grew louder.

Brooke stared at Isaiah, realizing that Cameron’s warning might have been only the beginning of the truth.
