Isaiah Gets Caught

🎬 ISAIAH GETS CAUGHT 🚨

📍 INT. GIRL’S HOUSE – BEDROOM – 2:17 A.M.

The house is silent.

Only the soft hum of the ceiling fan and the distant ticking of a hallway clock break the stillness.

Moonlight spills through the bedroom window, casting long shadows across the floor.

ISAIAH lies asleep on top of the blanket beside the GIRL after they had spent the evening talking.

Everything seems peaceful…

Until—

CREAK.

The bedroom door slowly opens.

A narrow beam of hallway light stretches across the room.

Standing in the doorway is the GIRL’S MOM.

She freezes.

Her eyes scan the room.

Then she notices Isaiah.

Shock turns into disbelief.

Disbelief turns into anger.

👩 GIRL’S MOM
“What are you doing in my house, Isaiah?”
Isaiah’s heart pounds. “She saw everything… I hope she doesn’t tell my mom.”
👧 GIRL
“Mom… I can explain…”
👩 GIRL’S MOM
“I trusted both of you. And this is what I find?”
👦 ISAIAH
“I’m… I’m sorry… I never wanted to disrespect your home.”
“What happens now?” “Will she call my mom?” “How am I ever going to explain this?”
👧 GIRL
“Mom… Please… Let us explain.”
👩 GIRL’S MOM
“We’ll talk. But not like this. Both of you need to be honest. Right now.”

Isaiah carefully stands.

His legs feel weak.

The girl’s mother points toward the hallway.

👩 GIRL’S MOM
“Come with me. Now.”

The hallway is silent except for slow footsteps.

Every step reminds Isaiah that actions have consequences.

👩 GIRL’S MOM
“Running away from problems never fixes them. If you’re old enough to make choices, you’re old enough to take responsibility for them.”
👦 ISAIAH
“You’re right. I’m sorry.”

The room falls silent once again.

Outside, the first hint of dawn begins to brighten the sky.

A new day is arriving.

But for Isaiah…

It feels like the longest night of his life.
