Isaiah arrived at Philadelphia International Airport to drop Mariah off before her flight. He helped her with her luggage and tried to appear calm and supportive. Mariah was focused on her journey, while Isaiah kept smiling as if everything between them was completely normal.

However, Isaiah’s thoughts were somewhere else. He had been hiding an important part of his romantic past. Before Mariah, he had dated Brooke, and he had never clearly explained every detail of that relationship. He believed he could keep both parts of his life separate, but the airport was about to destroy that plan.

As Mariah prepared to enter the terminal, Isaiah glanced toward the arrivals area. His heart suddenly dropped when he realized that Brooke’s flight had landed at almost the same time.

Isaiah saw Brooke walking through the airport with her luggage. He froze for a moment, unsure whether she had noticed him. Mariah was only a short distance away, and the timing could not have been worse.

Isaiah looked at Mariah, then back at Brooke. He felt trapped between two relationships and could not decide what to do. If he stayed beside Mariah, Brooke might approach them. If he went toward Brooke, Mariah might return and see them together.

Trying to avoid an uncomfortable scene, Isaiah quickly moved outside toward Brooke. He hoped to speak with her privately before Mariah noticed anything suspicious.

Brooke looked surprised and explained that she had just arrived. Isaiah said that he was at the airport to drop someone off, but his nervous behavior made the conversation feel unusual.

Isaiah stayed near Brooke for several minutes, repeatedly looking toward the terminal entrance. He wanted to make sure Mariah had already gone inside. Unfortunately, his efforts to appear relaxed only made him look more suspicious.

Brooke noticed his behavior and asked whether something was wrong. Isaiah gave a vague answer and claimed that he was simply in a hurry. He did not want Brooke to ask too many questions, and he certainly did not want Mariah to discover that they had once dated.

Meanwhile, Mariah realized that she needed to return outside for a moment. She turned around and walked back toward the entrance, unaware that Isaiah was standing nearby with Brooke.

When Isaiah noticed Mariah approaching, panic spread across his face. He searched for a believable explanation, but every possible excuse seemed likely to create even more trouble.

Mariah came closer and immediately noticed Isaiah. Then she saw Brooke beside him. The atmosphere became tense, and Isaiah knew that one careless sentence could expose his past.

Brooke quickly realized that the meeting might become uncomfortable. She made an excuse and began moving away.

Before Isaiah could respond, Brooke walked away through the airport passage. Her sudden exit made Isaiah even more anxious because it seemed as though she was avoiding questions.

Mariah watched Brooke leave and then turned toward Isaiah. She wanted to know why he had been talking to her. Isaiah tried to smile naturally, but his face showed that he was under pressure.

Unexpectedly, Mariah and Brooke ended up standing directly in front of each other. After a brief pause, they exchanged a polite handshake. Their conversation began calmly, but Isaiah could not hear every word.

He stood a short distance away, pretending to check his phone while secretly watching them. Every smile and gesture made him more nervous. He wondered whether Brooke would tell Mariah about their previous relationship.

Mariah and Brooke continued talking. Their expressions appeared friendly, but Isaiah could not determine whether they were simply introducing themselves or discussing something much more personal.

He wanted to interrupt them, but that might make him appear guilty. He also wanted to pull Brooke aside, yet doing so could make Mariah even more suspicious.

Isaiah’s phone began buzzing. Mariah called him over, while Brooke also gestured for him to come closer. He looked from one woman to the other and felt completely overwhelmed.

For the first time, Isaiah understood that he could no longer control the situation. The secret he had tried to hide was now standing directly in front of him. He did not know whether Mariah already suspected the truth or whether Brooke had quietly revealed something.

Isaiah slowly walked toward them. His mind raced as he tried to prepare an explanation that would satisfy both women. But the busy airport offered no private corner and no easy escape.

Mariah crossed her arms and asked why he had been acting so strangely. Brooke watched him carefully. Isaiah opened his mouth to speak, but he could not find the right words.

The tension grew as both women waited for an answer. A simple airport goodbye had turned into a dangerous emotional confrontation, and Isaiah knew that his hidden past might finally become public.
