SCENE 1: A CRUISE TRIP TO SAVE THEIR MARRIAGE

The morning sun shines through the windows of Larry and Bethany’s home. After weeks of tension, arguments, and painful misunderstandings, the couple has finally agreed to take a family cruise. They hope that spending time together away from their everyday problems might help them reconnect.

Larry believes the cruise could be an opportunity to rebuild their relationship. Bethany, however, has been carrying a secret in her heart, and she has already made a decision that could change everything between them.

SCENE 3: THE FAMILY HEADS TO THE CRUISE

A little later, everyone finishes packing their suitcases. Brooke checks her bags while Larry makes sure that nothing important has been left behind. Bethany gathers her belongings, carefully making sure that a particular box is safely tucked away among her things.

She glances at it for a moment before closing her suitcase. Her expression reveals the seriousness of what she is about to do.

Larry chuckles.

Brooke admires the surroundings while Larry helps organize the bags. Bethany follows them, keeping her emotions under control.

Once everything is settled, the family begins exploring the ship. They enjoy the views, spend time together, and take advantage of the activities available on board.

Later, as they stand together overlooking the ocean, Larry gently approaches his wife.

Larry turns toward her.

SCENE 5: NIGHT FALLS ON THE CRUISE

Eventually, the sun disappears beyond the horizon, leaving the ocean covered in darkness and shimmering reflections from the ship’s lights. The family returns to their rooms after a long day of activities.

Brooke settles in for the night, while Larry and Bethany head to their bedroom. Larry appears relaxed and happy. He believes the trip has already brought them closer, and he is eager to discover the surprise Bethany has promised him.

As Bethany places her belongings aside, Larry sits on the edge of the bed and looks at her expectantly.

She raises an eyebrow.

He smiles and closes his eyes, trusting her completely.

Bethany turns away and reaches for the box she has carefully brought with her. Her hands pause on it for a moment. She knows that once she places it in front of Larry, there will be no taking back the decision she has made.

She takes a deep breath, walks toward him, and sets the box down.

SCENE 6: THE SHOCKING SURPRISE

Larry slowly opens his eyes. At first, he looks at the box with excitement, expecting to find something romantic or meaningful inside. He reaches forward and opens it.

His eyes widen. His entire expression changes. Lying inside the box are divorce papers.

For several seconds, Larry cannot speak. He stares at the documents as though he is waiting for the words to rearrange themselves into something else. Then he looks up at Bethany.

Bethany remains standing in front of him, her expression firm despite the emotions visible in her eyes.

Larry looks back into the box, unable to process what he is seeing.

His voice rises with disbelief.

Bethany swallows hard.

Larry pushes the box away slightly, as if distancing himself from the reality in front of him.

Larry stares at her.

Larry rises from the bed, visibly shaken.
