SCENE 1 — THE LIVING ROOM — EVENING
The room is crowded.
Dinisha stands near the sofa, visibly uncomfortable as Wayne walks toward her with a confident smile.
Anthony watches from across the room.
His expression changes when Wayne moves too close to Dinisha.
WAYNE
“Why are you acting like I’m a stranger, Dinisha?”
Dinisha takes a small step backward.
DINISHA
“Wayne, I already told you. Give me some space.”
Wayne ignores her discomfort and reaches toward her.
Anthony immediately notices.
ANTHONY
“Wayne. Step away from her.”
Everyone turns toward Anthony.
SCENE 2 — THE ARGUMENT
Wayne gives a sarcastic laugh.
WAYNE
“This has nothing to do with you.”
Anthony walks closer.
ANTHONY
“It does when she tells you to stop.”
Dinisha looks between them nervously.
The atmosphere becomes tense.
Wayne steps closer to Anthony.
WAYNE
“You always think you’re the hero.”
ANTHONY
“No. I just know when to walk away.”
Wayne suddenly shoves Anthony. Everyone gasps. Anthony stumbles backward but catches himself.
DINISHA
“Anthony!”
SCENE 3 — THE FIGHT
DINISHA
“Stop! Both of you!”
But neither man listens.
Wayne grabs Anthony’s shirt.
Anthony pushes his hands away.
WAYNE
“You think you’re better than me?”
ANTHONY
“No. I just know when to walk away.”
The two struggle for a moment.
A chair is knocked aside.
Someone screams.
SHARRA
“Someone stop them!”
Several people rush forward.
The room goes completely silent.
Wayne sits stunned, holding his arm.
Anthony stands frozen.
His anger disappears from his face. Now he looks worried.
ANTHONY
“Wayne… are you okay?”
SCENE 4 — THE SHOCK
Dinisha looks terrified by what just happened.
DINISHA
“This wasn’t supposed to happen.”
ANTHONY
“I know.”
He looks around the room. Everyone is still shocked.
ANTHONY
“I never wanted this.”
Wayne slowly gets back on his feet with help from someone nearby.
He looks directly at Anthony.
WAYNE
“You have no idea what you just started.”
Wayne slowly walks toward the door.
The door closes behind him.
SCENE 5 — AFTER THE FIGHT
Anthony sits down, breathing heavily.
Dinisha approaches him.
DINISHA
“Anthony…”
ANTHONY
“I shouldn’t have let my anger take control.”
Dinisha nods slowly.
DINISHA
“You were trying to protect me, but everything became dangerous.”
Anthony lowers his eyes.
ANTHONY
“I know.”
Suddenly, Sharra notices Wayne’s phone on the table.
The screen lights up.
SHARRA
“Guys…”
Everyone turns toward her.
A new message appears on Wayne’s phone:
“PHASE ONE IS COMPLETE.”
SCENE 6 — THE SUSPENSE
Outside, Wayne walks down the street.
He stops beneath a streetlight.
His phone rings.
He answers without saying a word.
MYSTERIOUS VOICE
“Did Anthony believe it?”
Wayne looks back toward the house.
A faint smile appears on his face.
WAYNE
“He will.”
The call ends.
Wayne puts his phone away and continues walking.
Back inside, Anthony stares at the message.
Someone may have wanted Anthony and Wayne to clash. And Dinisha may have been part of the plan all along.
Anthony looks at Dinisha.
ANTHONY
“Dinisha… there’s something you need to tell me.”
DINISHA
“What?”
ANTHONY

Everyone freezes.
Then Dinisha’s phone suddenly rings.
She looks at the unknown number.
Her hands begin to shake.
She answers.
DINISHA
“Hello?”
There is silence on the other end.
Then a quiet voice whispers:
