When Anthony Finds Out Wayne Closed the Deal With Dave

The Deal Is Done — But The Drama Is Just Beginning

The business meeting had finally come to an end. After weeks of disagreements, negotiations, and uncomfortable conversations, Dave and Wayne had reached an agreement that could completely change the direction of their business.

Wayne knew that the decision would not be easy for Anthony to accept. Their business relationship had already been under pressure, and Anthony had become increasingly frustrated with the direction everything was taking.

The moment Anthony realized that Wayne had officially made the deal with Dave, his entire attitude changed.

Dave looked satisfied as he gathered his things. Wayne remained calm, but he knew the difficult conversation was coming.

Dave: “Looks like we finally got this done. It took some work, but we got there.”

Anthony stared at them from across the room. He could hardly believe what he was seeing.

Anthony: “You really did it. You actually made a deal with Dave?”
Wayne: “Anthony, listen. It’s business. Nothing personal.”

Anthony stepped toward Wayne, furious that such an important decision had been made without him.

Anthony: “Nothing personal? How can you stand there and say that to me?”
Dave: “Anthony, everybody needs to calm down.”
Anthony believed Dave had already caused problems in his personal life, and now he felt Dave was coming after his business too.
Anthony: “You knew exactly how I felt about this. You knew I didn’t want Dave involved, and you still went ahead with the deal.”
Wayne: “I understand you’re upset, but I had to make a decision for the business.”
Anthony: “You’ve already taken enough from me.”
Dave: “What exactly did I take from you?”
Anthony: “You took Amber away from me, and now you’re getting involved in my business too.”

Wayne immediately tried to keep the situation from becoming even more heated.

Wayne: “Don’t turn this into something it isn’t. Amber made her own choices, and this deal is between the businesses.”

The Partnership Question

Anthony paced around the room. He was not only angry about the deal; he felt betrayed by someone he believed was supposed to be his business partner.

Anthony: “You could have come to me first. You could have told me you were thinking about ending our business relationship.”
Wayne: “Every time I tried to talk about the business, it turned into an argument. I needed a solution, and Dave was willing to sit down and work one out.”
Anthony finally asked the question that had been hanging over the entire conversation.
Anthony: “So you’re ending our business?”
Wayne: “I think it’s time for us to go in different directions.”
Anthony: “After everything we’ve built?”
Wayne: “I haven’t forgotten what we built. But sometimes business relationships reach a point where they stop working.”

Dave Makes His Position Clear

Dave finally stepped forward. He did not want the disagreement to become a personal fight.

Dave: “I don’t have anything against you, Anthony. I’m here because Wayne and I believe we can make this deal work.”
Anthony: “You expect me to believe that?”
Dave: “You don’t have to believe me. You can watch what happens.”

Wayne looked at Anthony and tried one final time to explain his decision.

Wayne: “This isn’t about destroying your business. It’s about making the decision I believe is right for mine.”
Anthony: “You really chose Dave over me.”
Wayne: “I chose a business direction. That’s different.”

The Final Warning

Anthony took a deep breath. His anger slowly turned into disappointment. He had expected Wayne to stand beside him, but instead Wayne had chosen a completely different path.

Anthony knew the partnership had changed, but he was not ready to accept that the story was over.
Anthony: “This isn’t over.”
Wayne: “If you mean we’re going to have another conversation about the business, that’s fine. But I’m not going to fight with you.”

Anthony walked toward the door but stopped one last time.

Anthony: “You better be sure this is what you want.”
Wayne: “I am.”

Anthony finally walked out, leaving the room completely silent.

After Anthony Leaves

Dave looked at Wayne, wondering whether Anthony would eventually accept the decision.

Dave: “You think he’s going to accept this?”
Wayne: “Not today.”
Dave: “But the deal is done.”
Wayne: “Yeah. Now we have to prove it was the right decision.”

Outside, Anthony was left trying to process everything that had happened. To him, this was more than a business deal. He felt betrayed by Wayne and believed Dave was becoming a threat to everything he had built.

The deal with Dave was official — but the fallout between Wayne and Anthony was only beginning.

THE DEAL IS DONE

Wayne had made his decision. Dave had a new business opportunity. Anthony had a reason to be angry.

But with old personal issues now mixed with business, the next confrontation could be even more intense.

One deal changed everything.
