Dinisha stood frozen, tears filling her eyes as she stared at Wayne. She had never imagined that one business decision could destroy the trust between them.

SCENE 1 — THE NEWS
Evening. Wayne’s house is quiet. Dinisha walks into the living room, holding her phone tightly.
Wayne looks up from his phone.
Wayne slowly puts his phone down.
Her voice trembles as she tries to hold back her emotions.
SCENE 2 — THE QUESTION
Dinisha wipes a tear from her cheek and steps closer.
Wayne doesn’t answer.
Wayne’s jaw tightens.
SCENE 3 — THE ARGUMENT EXPLODES
The tension suddenly becomes unbearable. Wayne walks toward the door, but Dinisha follows him.
Wayne clenches his fists.
Wayne loses control in the heated argument and strikes Dinisha.

SCENE 4 — ANTHONY HEARS EVERYTHING
Outside the house, a car suddenly stops.
Anthony steps out. He hears Dinisha crying and immediately becomes alarmed.
Anthony rushes inside.
Dinisha steps behind Anthony.
Anthony takes her hand.
Wayne suddenly speaks.
SCENE 5 — THE SECRET
Wayne’s expression changes. For the first time, his anger disappears.
Anthony stares at him.
Wayne suddenly stops.
Wayne looks toward the window.

The lights suddenly go out.
Everyone freezes.
Footsteps echo outside the house.
Anthony slowly turns toward the dark window.
