SCENE 1 — AMBER’S HOUSE — DAY

Amber stands near the window, looking worried. Dave is beside her, trying to understand what has happened. She takes a deep breath and gathers her documents.

DAVE

What happened, Amber? You look really upset.

AMBER

I can’t stay quiet anymore, Dave. Anthony has been treating me unfairly, and now he’s reducing my percentage without giving me a proper reason.

Dave looks concerned.

DAVE

Then you need to take this seriously. Let’s go to a lawyer and explain everything.

Amber nods firmly.

AMBER

Yes. I want everything to be done properly. I don’t want another argument. I want justice.

Dave picks up the documents from the table.

DAVE

Then let’s go. We’ll tell the lawyer the whole story.

Amber looks at the papers one last time before leaving with Dave.

SCENE 2 — OUTSIDE THE COURT — DAY

Amber and Dave arrive at the courthouse. The building is busy, with lawyers and people moving through the entrance.

Amber looks nervous but determined.

DAVE

Don’t worry. Just tell the truth.

AMBER

I will. I have nothing to hide.

They walk inside together.

SCENE 3 — LAWYER’S OFFICE — DAY

Amber sits across from a lawyer. Dave sits beside her. Amber places several documents on the desk.

The lawyer studies her carefully.

LAWYER

Tell me exactly what happened.

Amber takes a moment before speaking.

AMBER

Anthony is supposed to give me my agreed percentage, but he has been giving me less. I asked him why, but I never received a proper explanation.

LAWYER

Did you have an agreement about the percentage?

Amber immediately hands over a document.

AMBER

Yes. This is the agreement. Everything is written here.

The lawyer reads the document carefully.

LAWYER

I understand. And you want Anthony to receive a formal warning?

AMBER

Yes. I want him to understand that he cannot simply change the agreement whenever he wants.

Dave supports her.

DAVE

She has tried to resolve this peacefully, but nothing has changed.

The lawyer nods.

LAWYER

All right. We can prepare a formal warning letter explaining the issue and asking Anthony to correct the matter.

Amber looks relieved.

AMBER

Thank you. I just want the agreement to be respected.

SCENE 4 — THE WARNING LETTER — AFTERNOON

The lawyer begins preparing the letter.

A printer hums quietly in the background.

Amber watches every line being written.

LAWYER

The letter will clearly state the problem. It will also give Anthony an opportunity to correct the percentage issue.

AMBER

That’s exactly what I want.

Dave looks at Amber.

DAVE

You did the right thing by coming here.

Amber gives a small, emotional smile.

AMBER

I was afraid at first. But I realized that staying silent would only make things worse.

The printer finishes.

The lawyer picks up the warning letter and checks it carefully.

LAWYER

Everything is ready.

Amber takes the letter.

AMBER

Now Anthony will have to answer.

SCENE 5 — POLICE STATION — LATE AFTERNOON

The atmosphere changes.

A police officer sits behind a desk. The lawyer has provided the necessary documents, including the warning letter.

Amber and Dave stand nearby.

The officer reviews the paperwork.

POLICE OFFICER

We have received the complaint and the supporting documents.

Amber remains calm.

AMBER

I don’t want unnecessary trouble. I only want Anthony to follow the agreement.

POLICE OFFICER

Understood. The warning will make the situation clear to him.

Dave nods.

DAVE

We just want everything handled properly.

The officer prepares the official paperwork.

SCENE 6 — ANTHONY RECEIVES THE WARNING — EVENING

Anthony is sitting at his desk when a police officer approaches him.

Anthony looks confused.

ANTHONY

What is this about?

The officer places the warning letter in front of him.

POLICE OFFICER

This is an official warning regarding the complaint filed against you.

Anthony picks up the letter.

His expression changes as he reads it.

ANTHONY

Amber did this?

POLICE OFFICER

The documents state that you have been giving her a lower percentage than the agreed amount.

Anthony looks frustrated.

ANTHONY

There must be some misunderstanding.

POLICE OFFICER

If there is a misunderstanding, you have the opportunity to explain it through the proper process. But you are expected to respect the agreement.

Anthony looks down at the letter again.

SCENE 7 — AMBER’S HOUSE — NIGHT

Amber sits quietly with Dave. Her phone rests on the table.

For the first time in days, she looks calmer.

DAVE

Do you feel better now?

Amber thinks for a moment.

AMBER

A little. I know this isn’t over, but at least I finally spoke up.

Dave smiles.

DAVE

You stood up for yourself. That matters.

Amber looks toward the window.

AMBER

I never wanted a fight with Anthony. I only wanted what was agreed to me.

There is a brief silence.

Her phone suddenly rings.

Amber looks at the screen.

It is Anthony.

Dave looks at her.

DAVE

Are you going to answer?

Amber hesitates.

Then she picks up the phone.

AMBER

Hello?

Anthony’s voice comes through, tense and angry.

ANTHONY

Amber, why did you send a warning letter?

Amber remains calm.

AMBER

Because I asked you several times to respect our agreement, and nothing changed.

ANTHONY

We could have handled this ourselves.

AMBER

I tried. You didn’t listen.

Anthony becomes silent.

AMBER

I don’t want problems, Anthony. I just want the percentage that was agreed upon.

Dave watches Amber quietly.

ANTHONY

So what happens now?

Amber looks at the warning letter lying on the table.

AMBER

Now you have a choice. You can correct the situation, or you can continue through the proper legal process.

Anthony says nothing.

Amber ends the call.

She slowly puts the phone down.

SCENE 8 — FINAL MOMENT — NIGHT

Amber looks at Dave.

DAVE

You handled that well.

Amber smiles faintly.

AMBER

Sometimes, standing up for yourself is the only way to make people listen.

The camera slowly pulls back.

The warning letter remains on the table between them.

The room becomes quiet.

Amber looks at the document one final time.

She knows the matter is not completely finished.

But for the first time, she feels that her voice has finally been heard.

FADE OUT.
