Larry sits down with Brooke and calmly explains that because she is now 18+, she needs to start taking more responsibility for her own expenses.

Brooke immediately visits the company where Hope and Faith work. She asks about available positions and submits a job application.

The staff gives Brooke an opportunity to start training right away. Brooke is excited and promises to take the job seriously and give her best effort.

Brooke receives her work uniform and begins her training. She quickly learns the responsibilities of the job and starts working alongside Hope and Faith.

Brooke keeps her new job private for the moment. Larry, Bethany, Shara, and the rest of the family have no idea that Brooke has started working instead of immediately following the college path they expected.

The big question remains: what will Larry and Bethany think when they discover that Brooke has taken a job to support herself? Will Larry be proud that Brooke accepted responsibility, or will he be upset that she made such a major decision without telling the family?
