Wayne Plans Something Big
Wayne had been planning something big.
For weeks, he had been talking about bringing everyone together, but this time he wanted the event to be somewhere completely different.
He finally decided on Turks and Caicos, where he could host an elegant private function surrounded by beautiful ocean views, luxury, music, and good food.
But Wayne also knew that bringing this group together was never going to be simple.
The Invitations Begin
One by one, he started making his calls.
Amber received her invitation. Dave received his. Anthony received his, and Wayne also made sure D’Nisha knew about the event.
When Wayne called Anthony, he made the invitation sound casual.
“Anthony, I’m putting something together in Turks and Caicos. I want you there. Bring D’Nisha. I’m inviting everybody.”
Anthony smiled. “Everybody?”
“Pretty much. It’s going to be a good time. No drama, no business, just everybody enjoying themselves.”
Anthony laughed. “You already know that’s impossible with this group.”
Wayne chuckled. “I’m serious. Just come out and enjoy yourself.”
D’Nisha Wants to Know Who Is Coming
After hanging up, Anthony went straight to D’Nisha.
“Wayne just called me. He’s doing a function in Turks and Caicos and invited everybody.”
D’Nisha immediately became curious. “Everybody? Who exactly is going?”
Anthony paused for a second.
“I know Dave is coming.”
“Who else?”
“I’m not sure about everybody else yet.”
What he didn’t tell her was that Amber had also accepted Wayne’s invitation.
And there was another surprise that nobody knew about.
Shayla had been invited too — and Wayne had kept her appearance completely under wraps.
Everyone Arrives in Turks and Caicos
Days later, everyone began arriving in Turks and Caicos.
The atmosphere was exactly what Wayne had promised. The location was beautiful, the ocean stretched endlessly behind the venue, music played in the background, and everyone was dressed for a glamorous night.
At first, D’Nisha was enjoying herself.
Then she turned around.
Her smile disappeared.
Amber had arrived.
D’Nisha stared at her from across the venue, clearly caught off guard.
Anthony Warns D’Nisha
“D’Nisha,” he said quietly, “don’t start anything.”
“I didn’t say anything.”
“I know. But I know that look.”
D’Nisha took a breath and looked away.
“We’re here to have a good time. No arguments, no scenes, no drama.”
“Fine.”
For a while, everything seemed peaceful.
People were talking, laughing, taking pictures, enjoying drinks and food. Wayne was moving around the venue, making sure everyone was comfortable.
Then suddenly, the energy changed.
Shayla Walks In
A few people near the entrance turned their heads.
“Wait… is that Shayla?”
Everyone started looking toward the entrance.
And then Shayla walked in.
The room practically froze.
Her appearance was completely different from what everyone remembered. She looked confident, polished, and completely comfortable walking into a room where she knew she would be noticed.
Wayne smiled when he saw her. “Look who finally made it.”
Shayla smiled. “I told you I was coming.”
Anthony looked surprised. “You didn’t tell me she was coming.”
Wayne shrugged. “That was the point.”
D’Nisha Confronts Shayla
D’Nisha, however, wasn’t smiling.
The second she saw Shayla, her expression hardened.
She watched Shayla greet people and slowly make her way into the crowd.
Finally, D’Nisha couldn’t hold herself back.
She walked straight toward her.
“Hey, D’Nisha.”
“So you really came.”
“Yeah. Why wouldn’t I?”
“Because apparently wherever Anthony goes, you suddenly show up too.”
“What is that supposed to mean?”
The Accusations Begin
“You know exactly what I mean. Anthony comes somewhere, and somehow you find your way here too.”
“D’Nisha, I was invited. Wayne invited me.”
“Oh, I know you were invited. I’m talking about your obsession with following Anthony around.”
Several people nearby began paying attention.
Anthony noticed the tension from across the venue.
“D’Nisha,” he warned.
But she wasn’t finished.
“I don’t know what your problem is.”
“My problem? You want me to tell everybody about your little arrangement with Anthony?”
“What are you talking about?”
D’Nisha brought up the money Shayla had previously received from Anthony.
Shayla Is Embarrassed
“Don’t act confused. You were taking money from Anthony.”
Shayla stared at her.
For a moment, she couldn’t even respond.
“You knew about that?”
“So it’s true.”
Shayla realized she had just walked into a trap.
“You were asking Anthony for money, weren’t you? And now you’re showing up everywhere he goes like you belong beside him.”
Shayla’s embarrassment quickly turned into anger.
“Watch how you talk to me.”
“Why? Because I’m telling the truth?”
The Confrontation Gets Worse
“You haven’t even married Anthony, and you’re already acting like you have some special place in his life.”
“I asked him for something once.”
“And he gave it to you?”
“Yes.”
The answer came instantly.
“So what?”
“You really have no shame.”
That was the moment the confrontation reached its breaking point.
The Slap
Before anyone could react, Shayla raised her hand and slapped D’Nisha across the face.
The entire function went silent.
D’Nisha stumbled back, shocked.
Anthony’s eyes widened.
Wayne immediately turned toward them.
Shayla stood there breathing heavily.
“You haven’t even married this man yet,” Shayla said angrily, “and I’ve asked Anthony for something before—and he gave it to me. So who are you to stand here and humiliate me?”
D’Nisha slowly touched her face.
Nobody moved.
Anthony Is Forced to Respond
“Shayla…”
