SCENE 1: LARRY QUESTIONS BROOKE
INT. LARRY AND BETHANY’S HOUSE β AFTERNOON
The house is quiet. Brooke sits on the couch, looking troubled. Larry approaches her, determined to understand why she keeps her distance from her mother.
LARRY
Brooke, why don’t you seem to love your mother? Sharra is your mom. No matter what happens, she will always be your mother.
BROOKE
Larry, you don’t know anything about what’s really happening. You think you understand Sharra, but you only see the side she wants you to see.
Larry folds his arms, confused by her response.
LARRY
What are you talking about? If there’s a serious problem, tell me the truth.
BROOKE
I’m trying to tell you, but you always defend her. Being my mother doesn’t mean she’s always right.
Brooke reaches for her phone. She hesitates, knowing that what she is about to reveal could change Larry’s opinion of Sharra forever.
BROOKE
Are you really ready to hear the truth about her and Dre?

SCENE 2: BROOKE REVEALS A SHOCKING SECRET
INT. LIVING ROOM β CONTINUOUS
Larry’s expression becomes serious. He steps closer, waiting for Brooke to explain what she means.
LARRY
Just tell me what you know, Brooke. I don’t want to keep guessing.
BROOKE
Sharra and Dre live together, Larry. They spend time together behind everyone’s back, and they even share the same bedroom!
Larry freezes. His eyes widen, and his face slowly changes from confusion to disbelief.
LARRY
Wait a minute! Are you telling me that Sharra has been hiding this from me?
BROOKE
I’m telling you that you don’t know everything about her. Every time I try to explain, you act like I’m the one causing problems.
Larry begins pacing across the room, struggling to process her words.
LARRY
Why would she hide something like that? And why didn’t you tell me sooner?
BROOKE
Because nobody listens to me! Everyone expects me to respect her simply because she’s my mother. But I have reasons for feeling this way.
Larry looks at Brooke carefully. He realizes that her frustration is deeper than he first understood.

SCENE 3: THE PICTURE THAT CHANGES EVERYTHING
INT. LIVING ROOM β MOMENTS LATER
Brooke unlocks her phone and opens a photograph. She turns the screen toward Larry, showing him a picture of Sharra and Dre together.
BROOKE
Look at this, Larry. I took this picture myself. I’m tired of being treated like a liar when I’m trying to tell you what I’ve seen.
Larry takes the phone and studies the photograph. His jaw tightens as he examines the image.
LARRY
Where did you get this picture? When was it taken?
BROOKE
I took it recently. I wanted to understand what was happening, and this is what I found.
Larry hands the phone back, visibly upset.
LARRY
I cannot believe this. Sharra has been talking to me as if everything is perfectly fine!
BROOKE
That’s what I’ve been trying to tell you. You only know what she chooses to tell you.
Larry takes a deep breath. The photograph has raised serious questions, but he knows he needs answers before reaching a final conclusion.
LARRY
I need to hear this from Sharra herself. I’m going to ask her for an explanation.

SCENE 4: LARRY STRUGGLES TO CONTROL HIS ANGER
INT. KITCHEN β A FEW MINUTES LATER
Larry walks into the kitchen and places his hands on the counter. His mind races as he remembers previous conversations with Sharra.
LARRY
How could this situation become so complicated? If there’s something important I need to know, why wasn’t I told?
He pulls out his phone and considers calling Sharra immediately. Before dialing, he pauses.
BROOKE
Are you going to call her?
LARRY
I want answers, but I need to think clearly. I won’t let anger make every decision for me.
BROOKE
Just don’t let her convince you that I’m making everything up.
Larry looks directly at Brooke.
LARRY
I’m taking this seriously. But I need the whole story before I decide what to believe.
Brooke walks away, frustrated that Larry still wants to hear Sharra’s side. Larry remains alone, wondering what else he might discover.

SCENE 5: SHARRA RECEIVES LARRY’S CALL
INT. SHARRA AND DRE’S HOME β EVENING
Sharra’s phone rings. She sees Larry’s name on the screen and answers, unaware of how much he already knows.
SHARRA
Hello, Larry. What’s going on?
LARRY
We need to talk about you and Dre.
Sharra suddenly becomes quiet. She glances toward the other room, where Dre is standing.
SHARRA
What are you talking about? What happened?
LARRY
Brooke showed me a picture of you and Dre together. She says you live together and share a bedroom. I want to hear your explanation.
SHARRA
Larry, you cannot believe everything Brooke tells you. She has her own feelings about me, and that affects how she sees things.
LARRY
That isn’t an answer, Sharra. I’m asking you about the picture.
Sharra struggles to respond. She knows Larry is no longer satisfied with vague explanations.
SHARRA
I need you to calm down before we have this conversation.
LARRY
We will talk face-to-face. I want answers, and I want the truth.
Larry ends the call. Sharra stares at her phone as Dre approaches her.
DRE
Who was that? Why do you look so worried?
SHARRA
It was Larry. Brooke told him about us, and now he wants answers.
DRE
What exactly did she tell him?
SHARRA
Enough to make him angry.

SCENE 6: LARRY MAKES HIS NEXT MOVE
INT. LARRY AND BETHANY’S HOUSE β NIGHT
Larry stands near the living-room window, holding his phone. Brooke returns and notices his serious expression.
BROOKE
Did you talk to her?
LARRY
Yes, but she didn’t give me the answers I wanted.
BROOKE
That’s what she always does. She finds a way to avoid taking responsibility.
Larry picks up his keys from the table.
LARRY
I’m going to meet Sharra. I want to hear everything directly from her, and I want Dre to explain his part in this situation too.
BROOKE
You’re going to confront both of them? Please be careful. You don’t know how Sharra will react.
LARRY
Neither do you. That’s why I need to find out the truth for myself.
Larry walks toward the door and steps outside. Brooke watches him leave, wondering whether this confrontation will finally reveal the truth or create an even bigger family conflict.
At Sharra’s home, Sharra and Dre exchange worried looks. They realize that Larry is no longer willing to accept vague explanations.
The photograph has changed everything. Larry is coming for answers, and Sharra must decide whether to reveal the truth or continue defending herself.
