Amber never imagined that the man she had shared so much of her life with would one day stand in front of another woman holding a beautiful bouquet of flowers. But that was exactly what was about to happen, and the consequences would change everything.

For several days, Dave had been acting differently. He was constantly distracted, spending more time on his phone, and finding excuses to leave the room whenever Amber approached him. Amber had noticed his strange behavior, but she never imagined that his heart had already started moving away from her.

At home, Amber was busy with her own activities. She had no idea what Dave was planning or where he intended to go. Dave didn’t even realize that Amber was still at home because he assumed she had already left.

He walked out carrying the bouquet, completely unaware that his decision would soon create a major confrontation.

Meanwhile, Omni was sitting in her office, busy completing important work. It was lunchtime, but she had decided to finish a few tasks before taking a break. Her desk was covered with documents, and her laptop screen was filled with unfinished work.

She glanced at the clock and sighed.

OMNI: “I can’t believe how much work I still have. I need to finish everything before the end of the day.”

Just then, she heard someone approaching her office. She looked toward the door, expecting a coworker, but her expression changed when Dave appeared holding a huge bouquet of beautiful flowers.

OMNI: “Dave? What are you doing here? And what’s with all those flowers?”

Dave smiled and stepped closer.

DAVE: “I came to see you. Actually, there’s something important I’ve wanted to tell you for a long time.”

Omni looked surprised. She slowly stood up from her chair and looked at the flowers.

OMNI: “These flowers are beautiful. But why did you bring them for me?”

DAVE: “Because you deserve something beautiful. I’ve been thinking about you a lot lately, Omni. Every time I see you, I feel something different. I tried to ignore it, but I can’t anymore.”

Omni became quiet. She wasn’t expecting such a conversation, especially while she was working.

OMNI: “Dave, what exactly are you trying to say?”

Dave Finally Confesses His Love

Dave took a deep breath and held the bouquet toward her.

DAVE: “I’m trying to tell you that I have feelings for you. I don’t want to pretend anymore. You’ve become very special to me, and I want to know if there’s a chance we could have a future together.”

Omni stared at him, trying to understand what was happening.

OMNI: “Dave, are you serious? You know that things aren’t simple. What about Amber?”

Dave’s expression became serious.

DAVE: “I know you’re thinking about Amber, but my feelings have changed. I’ve been unhappy for a while, and I don’t want to continue pretending that everything is fine.”

Omni looked uncomfortable.

OMNI: “But you can’t just forget everything that happened between you and Amber. Have you even talked to her about how you feel?”

Dave shook his head.

DAVE: “I wanted to talk to you first because I needed to know whether you felt the same way. I don’t want to lose this opportunity without telling you the truth.”

Omni slowly accepted the bouquet, but she still looked uncertain.

OMNI: “Dave, I appreciate the flowers, but I need time to understand everything you’re telling me.”

Dave smiled slightly.

DAVE: “That’s okay. I’m not asking you to make a decision right now. I just wanted you to know how important you are to me.”

Amber Starts Looking for Dave

However, neither of them noticed that Amber had arrived at the house and was moving through the rooms.

She had been looking for Dave because she wanted to discuss something important with him. When she couldn’t find him, she became suspicious. She checked the living room and then noticed that Dave’s belongings were missing.

Amber picked up her phone and called him, but Dave didn’t answer.

AMBER: “Where is this man? He didn’t even tell me where he was going.”

She tried calling again. This time, she heard a notification indicating that her call had been ignored.

Her frustration increased.

Meanwhile, Dave was still standing inside Omni’s office, talking about the future.

DAVE: “I want us to give this a real chance. I don’t want to keep living with regrets.”

Omni placed the flowers on her desk.

OMNI: “Dave, you need to understand that this could hurt someone. I don’t want to become the reason another relationship falls apart.”

Dave stepped closer but maintained a respectful distance.

Just as Omni was about to respond, Amber decided to look for Dave. She remembered that Omni worked nearby and wondered whether he might have gone there.

She slowly looked through the open doorway and saw Dave standing in front of Omni with the beautiful bouquet.

For a moment, she couldn’t believe her eyes.

She pushed the door open and walked inside.

AMBER: “DAVE! WHAT ON EARTH IS GOING ON HERE?”

Dave turned around immediately. His smile disappeared when he saw Amber standing at the entrance.

DAVE: “Amber? What are you doing here?”

AMBER: “What am I doing here? That’s what you want to ask me? What are YOU doing here with Omni and those flowers?”

Omni stepped away from the desk, visibly uncomfortable.

OMNI: “Amber, please calm down. I think we should talk about this.”

Amber turned toward Omni.

AMBER: “You stay out of this! I want to hear from Dave. Why are you bringing another woman flowers and proposing to her behind my back?”

Dave’s Truth Leaves Amber Heartbroken

Dave placed his hands down, trying to remain calm.

DAVE: “Amber, this isn’t the place to have this conversation.”

AMBER: “Oh, really? You had no problem choosing this place to propose to her, but suddenly it’s not the right place to explain yourself?”

Omni looked at Dave, hoping he would explain the situation.

OMNI: “Dave, you told me you wanted to be honest. Maybe now is the time to tell Amber the truth.”

Dave looked at Amber and realized that he could no longer avoid the conversation.

DAVE: “Amber, I’ve been unhappy for a long time. My feelings have changed, and I don’t want to keep pretending that everything between us is okay.”

Amber stared at him, struggling to believe what she was hearing.

AMBER: “So that’s it? Your feelings changed, and now you think you can just walk away and propose to someone else?”

DAVE: “I’m not saying this is easy, but I can’t keep lying about how I feel.”

Amber’s eyes filled with tears, but her anger remained stronger than her sadness.

AMBER: “You could have told me this at home. You could have respected me enough to have an honest conversation. Instead, you came here with flowers and decided to propose to Omni while I was still in the picture!”

The room fell silent.

Dave looked down at the bouquet, while Omni stood frozen beside her desk.

AMBER: “You know what, Dave? Keep your flowers. But before you start planning a future with Omni, you need to answer one question.”

Dave looked at her.

DAVE: “What question?”

Amber took a deep breath and stepped closer.

AMBER: “Have you already decided that I’m completely out of your life, or are you expecting me to simply accept everything you’ve done?”

Dave opened his mouth to respond, but before he could say anything, Amber’s phone began ringing.

She looked at the screen, then back at Dave.

AMBER: “You know what? Maybe there’s something you need to hear before you make your final decision.”

She answered the call and put it on speaker.

Dave’s expression changed as he heard the voice coming from the other side.

UNKNOWN CALLER: “Amber, are you with Dave right now? Because there’s something important you both need to discuss.”

Dave and Omni exchanged confused looks.

Amber slowly turned toward Dave.

AMBER: “Well, Dave… I think your proposal is going to have to wait. We have a much bigger problem to deal with.”
