The afternoon is peaceful as Hope, Faith, and Mariah stand together outside, having a serious conversation. Hope checks her phone while Faith listens carefully. Hope:
I still can’t believe Isaiah actually called us about this. Why would he put us in the middle of something so complicated? Faith:
Exactly! He knows this situation is already difficult enough. Now he’s making us responsible for keeping another secret. Mariah:
I don’t understand why you’re both making such a big deal out of it. Isaiah told you what he wanted. Brooke doesn’t need to know anything. Hope:
Mariah, this isn’t a little secret. We’re talking about something that could completely change Brooke’s relationship with Isaiah. Faith:
Isaiah specifically told us that Brooke must never find out about your pregnancy. Mariah:

Brooke suddenly stops walking when she hears Isaiah’s name and Mariah’s pregnancy mentioned. Brooke:
Wait a minute. What did you just say? The three women turn around in shock. Mariah:
Brooke, why are you standing there listening to our conversation? Brooke:
Don’t change the subject! I heard what Hope just said. Are you pregnant? Faith:
Brooke, calm down. You’re misunderstanding the conversation. Brooke:
I’m misunderstanding? I heard everything! Mariah:
Yes, Brooke. I’m pregnant. Are you happy now? Brooke stares at her in disbelief. Brooke:
And Isaiah is the father? Mariah remains silent, giving Brooke the answer she never wanted to hear.

Brooke’s emotions quickly turn into anger. She cannot believe that everyone has been hiding such an important secret from her. Brooke:
So this is what everybody has been hiding? Isaiah got you pregnant, and instead of telling me the truth, you all decided to keep it a secret? Mariah:
Brooke, this is between me and Isaiah. Brooke:
Are you serious right now? You knew exactly what you were doing! Mariah:
Don’t put everything on me. Isaiah is responsible for his own decisions. Brooke suddenly grabs the front of Mariah’s shirt. Brooke:
Look at me when I’m talking to you! How long were you planning to hide this? Mariah:
Get your hands off me, Brooke! Hope and Faith immediately rush forward.

Hope and Faith step between Brooke and Mariah. Hope:
Brooke! Let her go! Faith:
What is wrong with you? You cannot put your hands on her! Brooke:
So you’re defending her? Both of you knew about Isaiah and Mariah, and you never thought I deserved to know? Hope:
We didn’t want to get involved in your relationship problems. Brooke:
But you were already involved the moment you decided to protect his secret! Mariah steps behind Hope as the argument becomes increasingly heated. Mariah:
I’m not going to stand here and let you attack me because you’re upset about Isaiah. Brooke attempts to move toward Mariah again. Hope and Faith try to hold her back, and the confrontation turns physical. Brooke:
Are you serious? All three of you are coming after me now? The situation quickly gets out of control.

Eventually, the confrontation begins to settle. Brooke steps back, still furious and unable to believe what just happened. Brooke:
I cannot believe you all just did that. You knew I was going to find out eventually! Mariah:
Maybe if you had come over here and talked instead of grabbing me, none of this would have happened. Brooke:
Don’t act like you’re innocent! Mariah:
I’m not pretending to be innocent. But I’m not going to apologize for being pregnant. Brooke:
And what about Isaiah? Does he even know how much damage he’s caused? Mariah:
Of course he knows. He’s the one who called Hope and Faith because he wanted to make sure you didn’t find out. Brooke shakes her head. Brooke:
Don’t worry. He’s next.

Brooke takes out her phone and immediately searches for Isaiah’s contact. Hope:
Brooke, what are you planning to do? Brooke:
I’m calling Isaiah. Since he has enough time to call both of you and tell you what to hide, he can explain everything to me himself. The phone rings several times before Isaiah finally answers. Isaiah:
Hello? Brooke:
Isaiah, we need to talk. And before you start making excuses, I already know about Mariah. There is complete silence. Isaiah:

You should just wait until Isaiah gets here. Brooke walks away, but suddenly receives a message from an unknown number. The message reads: “Brooke, you think Mariah’s pregnancy is the only thing Isaiah has been hiding from you? You need to find out what happened before you confront him again.” Brooke’s eyes widen. Brooke:
What? What does this mean? Meanwhile, Mariah receives a call from Isaiah. Isaiah:
Mariah, listen to me. Whatever happens, do not tell Brooke about the other situation. Mariah:
What other situation, Isaiah? She already received a message! There is a long silence. Isaiah:
Brooke wasn’t supposed to find out that you were pregnant. But she definitely cannot find out who else knew about it before she did. Mariah slowly lowers her phone. Hope and Faith exchange worried looks. Suddenly, Brooke walks back toward them. Brooke:
I heard enough. Now somebody better tell me what Isaiah is talking about! Mariah’s phone begins ringing again. Mariah:
Isaiah, you need to get here right now. Brooke is coming back! Isaiah:
Whatever happens, don’t tell Brooke about the other situation! Brooke stands directly in front of them, waiting for an explanation. Nobody says a word. What is the bigger secret Isaiah is desperately trying to hide? And who else knew about Mariah’s pregnancy before Brooke discovered the truth?
