Bethany Catches Brooke Talking to Isaiah Behind Her Back!
SCENE 1: BETHANY WALKS INTO BROOKE’S ROOM
The house was unusually quiet that afternoon. Bethany had been looking for Brooke because she wanted to discuss something important with her. After checking the living room and kitchen, she finally walked toward Brooke’s bedroom.
When Bethany opened the door, she noticed Brooke lying in bed with her eyes closed. Brooke appeared to be sleeping peacefully, with her phone resting on the table beside her bed.
Bethany slowly walked inside and looked at her.
Bethany:
“Brooke? Are you sleeping?”
Brooke didn’t respond. She continued pretending to be asleep, hoping Bethany would leave the room.
Bethany stood beside the bed for a moment and watched her carefully.
Bethany:
“Wow, she’s really sleeping. I guess I’ll come back later.”
However, Bethany wasn’t completely convinced. Something about Brooke’s behavior made her suspicious. She remembered that Brooke had been acting strangely whenever Isaiah’s name came up.
Bethany looked at the phone lying on the table.
She wondered whether Brooke had been communicating with Isaiah again without telling anyone.
SCENE 2: BETHANY CHECKS BROOKE’S PHONE
Bethany glanced toward the bedroom door to make sure nobody was watching. Then she picked up Brooke’s phone from the table.
She hesitated for a moment before looking at the screen.
Bethany:
“Why is she always hiding something? Every time I ask her about Isaiah, she changes the subject.”
Bethany became more curious and decided to check whether Brooke had recently been talking to Isaiah.
Just as she was looking at the phone, a familiar voice suddenly came from behind her.
Brooke:
“Bethany! What are you doing?”
Bethany immediately turned around. Brooke was now sitting up in bed, looking directly at her.
Bethany was surprised but quickly regained her composure.
Bethany:
“Oh, so you’re awake? I thought you were sleeping!”
Brooke:
“I was resting, but then I saw you standing near my table. Why are you touching my phone?”
Bethany looked at the phone in her hand.
Bethany:
“That’s exactly what I want to know. Why are you hiding your conversations with Isaiah from me?”
Brooke looked annoyed.
Brooke:
“Can you please put my phone down? It’s my personal phone.”
Bethany refused to ignore the situation.
Bethany:
“Don’t change the subject, Brooke. Have you been talking to Isaiah again?”
SCENE 3: BROOKE ADMITS THE TRUTH
Brooke sat on the edge of her bed and crossed her arms. She realized that pretending to sleep was no longer going to help her avoid the conversation.
Brooke:
“Yes, Bethany. I’ve been talking to Isaiah. So what?”
Bethany stared at her in disbelief.
Bethany:
“Excuse me? You’re actually admitting it?”
Brooke:
“Yes! I talk to him. He’s my brother, and I don’t understand why you’re making such a big deal out of it.”
Bethany:
“Because you keep doing things behind my back! Every time I ask you whether you’ve spoken to Isaiah, you act like you don’t know anything!”
Brooke shook her head.
Brooke:
“I don’t have to report every conversation I have to you. Isaiah is family, and I can talk to him whenever I want.”
Bethany became increasingly frustrated.
Bethany:
“That’s not the point! You know exactly why I’m concerned. There have already been problems because of the things you’ve done for Isaiah.”
Brooke:
“And what do you expect me to do? Stop talking to my own brother just because you’re upset with him?”
Bethany couldn’t believe how confidently Brooke was answering her.
SCENE 4: THE ARGUMENT GETS OUT OF CONTROL
Bethany placed the phone back on the table and stepped closer to Brooke.
Bethany:
“You have a serious attitude problem. I come into your room, and instead of explaining yourself, you start talking back to me.”
Brooke:
“I’m not talking back. I’m simply telling you the truth. You asked me if I talk to Isaiah, and I said yes.”
Bethany:
“Don’t play innocent with me! You know how much trouble this situation has already caused.”
Brooke:
“Maybe you should stop worrying about who I talk to and start worrying about your own problems!”
Bethany’s expression immediately changed.
Bethany:
“What did you just say to me?”
Brooke:
“You heard me. I’m tired of being questioned every single time I speak to Isaiah.”
Bethany became furious. In a sudden moment of anger, she slapped Brooke.
The room fell silent.
Brooke was stunned by what had happened. She slowly turned toward Bethany, unable to believe that the argument had gone that far.
Brooke:
“Did you seriously just slap me?”
Bethany:
“Don’t you ever raise your voice at me like that again!”
Brooke stood up from the bed, visibly upset.
Brooke:
“You came into my room, picked up my phone, and started questioning me. And now you’re blaming me?”
Bethany realized that the situation had gone too far, but her anger was still visible.
SCENE 5: BROOKE REFUSES TO STAY QUIET
Brooke stepped away from Bethany and picked up her phone.
Brooke:
“You don’t have the right to go through my personal things. If you wanted to know something, you could have simply asked me.”
Bethany:
“I did ask you! But you never give me a straight answer.”
Brooke:
“I just gave you one. Yes, I talk to Isaiah. What’s wrong with that?”
Bethany:
“What’s wrong is that you keep hiding things and then acting like everyone else is the problem.”
Brooke took a deep breath.
Brooke:
“Maybe I don’t tell you everything because I know you’ll react exactly like this!”
Bethany looked at her angrily.
Bethany:
“So now I’m the bad person?”
Brooke:
“I didn’t say that. But you need to understand that I have feelings too. You can’t keep controlling every decision I make.”
For the first time, Bethany didn’t immediately have an answer.
She looked toward the phone and then back at Brooke.
SCENE 6: THE BIGGER SECRET
Just when Bethany thought the argument was over, Brooke said something that made her even more suspicious.
Brooke:
“And there’s something else you should know. Isaiah didn’t just call me to say hello.”
Bethany turned around immediately.
Bethany:
“What does that mean?”
Brooke:
“He wanted to talk about something important, and I promised him I would listen.”
Bethany:
“What exactly does he want?”
Brooke hesitated.
Brooke:
“I don’t know if I should tell you.”
Bethany shook her head in frustration.
Bethany:
“After everything that just happened, you’re still keeping secrets?”
Brooke:
“Because I know you’re going to get angry again!”
Bethany stepped back and folded her arms.
Bethany:
“Well, now you’ve made me even more curious. What is Isaiah planning?”
Brooke looked down at her phone. A new message notification appeared on the screen.
Bethany noticed it immediately.
Bethany:
“Is that Isaiah?”
Brooke quickly picked up the phone.
Brooke:
“Yes, but I’m not discussing his private business with you until I know what he wants.”
Bethany stared at Brooke, realizing that there was much more to the situation than she had originally thought.
SCENE 7: AN UNEXPECTED ENDING
Bethany finally walked toward the bedroom door. Before leaving, she turned around one last time.
Bethany:
“Brooke, I’m warning you. Whatever you’re planning with Isaiah, don’t bring another problem into this house.”
Brooke:
“And I’m telling you that you need to trust me sometimes.”
Bethany didn’t respond. She walked out and closed the door behind her.
Brooke sat back on the bed, looking at Isaiah’s message.
She opened it and read the words carefully.
Isaiah had written that he needed to speak with her about an important family matter, and he didn’t want anyone else to know until he was ready.
Brooke looked toward the bedroom door.
Brooke:
“Now Bethany is going to think I’m hiding something terrible. But Isaiah needs my help.”
Meanwhile, Bethany stood in the hallway, still thinking about their argument.
She couldn’t understand why Brooke was so determined to protect Isaiah’s secret.
One thing was certain: this family drama was far from over.
And when Bethany eventually discovered what Isaiah had really told Brooke, the entire family could face an even bigger confrontation.
