THE STORY BEGINS

Amber had always believed that she could get whatever she wanted if she truly desired it. She was confident, determined, and never afraid to express her feelings. However, there was one thing she could never control: Wayne’s heart. Despite knowing that Wayne was happily involved with YaYa, Amber continued to develop feelings for him.

She tried to hide those feelings, especially from Dave, who believed that Amber was completely committed to their relationship. But everything was about to change.

One afternoon, Amber received a message that Wayne would be visiting a familiar place. As soon as she heard the news, she became excited. She spent some time thinking about what she wanted to say to him.

Amber finally arrived at the location where Wayne was spending some time. When she saw him standing nearby, she slowly approached him.

“Wayne, can I talk to you for a minute?” Amber asked.

Wayne turned around and looked at her.

“Sure, Amber. What’s going on? Is everything okay?”

Amber took a deep breath. She looked nervous, but she knew she had to speak.

“Wayne, there’s something I’ve wanted to tell you for a long time. I’ve tried to keep it inside, but I can’t hide my feelings anymore.”

Wayne looked confused and asked what she was talking about.

Wayne was completely shocked. He had never expected Amber to make such a confession. He knew she was dating Dave, so her words made the situation even more uncomfortable.

“Amber, what are you saying? You know I’m not interested in marrying you. I’m happy with YaYa, and I love the life we’re building together.”

Amber couldn’t believe what she was hearing. She had expected Wayne to be surprised, but she hadn’t prepared herself for such a direct rejection.

Neither of them realized that someone else had arrived. Dave had just entered the area. He was looking for Amber because he wanted to spend some time with her. However, as he approached, he heard her saying that she wanted to marry Wayne.

Dave stopped immediately. He couldn’t believe what he was hearing.

“Amber!”

Both Amber and Wayne turned around. Amber’s face went pale when she saw Dave standing behind her.

“Dave? What are you doing here?” she asked nervously.

“That’s what I should be asking you. What exactly did I just hear?”

Amber tried to respond, but Dave was already disappointed. He had believed that Amber was completely committed to their relationship.

“Amber, I thought we were happy together. I thought you loved me the same way I loved you. But now I find out that your heart belongs to someone else?”

Wayne realized that the situation was becoming increasingly uncomfortable. He didn’t want to be involved in an argument between Amber and Dave.

“Dave, I think you need to understand that I had nothing to do with this. Amber approached me and told me how she felt. I never encouraged her to leave you.”

Dave looked toward Wayne and then turned back toward Amber.

Amber looked at Wayne with disappointment. She wanted him to reconsider, but Wayne had already made his decision.

Dave looked at Amber again and asked the question that had been bothering him.

Amber struggled to find the right words. She tried to hold Dave’s hand, but he stepped away.

“Dave, please calm down. We can talk about this privately. There’s no reason to make a scene.”

Dave shook his head. He couldn’t understand how Amber could ask another man to marry her while continuing to make plans with him.

“You don’t get to tell me to calm down after what I just heard. I deserve an explanation.”

Wayne quietly stepped away, hoping to avoid making the situation worse. Before leaving, he reminded Dave that he loved YaYa and had no intention of changing his relationship.

After Wayne left, Amber tried to explain herself. She told Dave that she never wanted to hurt him and that her feelings had become complicated.

“Dave, I know I made a mistake, but I don’t want to lose you.”

Dave looked at her with disappointment.

Amber’s eyes filled with tears. She realized that her actions had damaged the trust between them.

“Please give me another chance. I still care about you, Dave.”

Dave remained silent for a few moments. He remembered all the times they had laughed together, made plans, and promised to support each other.

Finally, he told Amber that he needed time to think. He couldn’t pretend that nothing had happened.

Meanwhile, Wayne returned home and found YaYa waiting for him. She immediately noticed that something was bothering him.

“Wayne, is everything okay? You look like something happened.”

Wayne sat down and explained everything. He told YaYa how Amber had approached him and confessed her feelings. He also explained that Dave had arrived and overheard the entire conversation.

“Amber actually told you she wanted to marry you? Doesn’t she know that you’re with me?” YaYa asked.

Wayne nodded and reassured her that he had rejected Amber’s proposal.

YaYa appreciated Wayne’s honesty. She wanted their relationship to remain strong and didn’t want Amber’s actions to create problems between them.

Later that evening, Amber returned home. She couldn’t stop thinking about everything that had happened. She picked up her phone and decided to send Dave a message.

“Dave, I know I hurt you today. I never wanted things to happen this way. Please don’t give up on us. I still care about you, and I hope you can forgive me.”

Dave received the message but didn’t respond immediately. He was sitting alone, thinking about his relationship and wondering whether Amber had ever truly been committed to him.

Meanwhile, Amber was becoming increasingly anxious because Dave hadn’t responded. She decided that she would speak to him again the following day.

The next morning, Amber decided to visit Dave. When she arrived, Dave was surprised to see her.

“Amber, what are you doing here?”

“I came because I don’t want us to end things like this. We need to talk.”

Amber apologized and admitted that she shouldn’t have approached Wayne while being in a relationship with Dave.

“I want you to know that I regret what happened yesterday. I know I made you feel like you weren’t important to me.”

Dave listened without interrupting. He wanted to believe her, but he knew that rebuilding trust would take time.

Amber agreed and eventually left, knowing that Dave needed more time.

But as she walked away, she received an unexpected message from YaYa. YaYa had heard about Amber’s confession and wanted her to respect their relationship.

Amber stared at the message. She knew that Wayne had made his decision, and there was nothing she could do to change it.

Dave was beginning to understand that his relationship with Amber might never return to what it once was. He cared about her, but he also wanted someone who chose him without hesitation.

Wayne, on the other hand, was enjoying a peaceful evening with YaYa. He had no intention of allowing Amber’s confession to create problems between them.

But one question remained unanswered: Would Dave forgive Amber and give their relationship another chance, or would he finally walk away after discovering that her heart belonged to Wayne?

And would Amber truly accept Wayne’s rejection, or would her feelings create even more trouble for everyone?
