Larry Warns Dre to Stay Away from Sharra!

Larry’s hands tightened around the steering wheel as he watched Dre standing outside Sharra’s house. He had promised himself he would remain calm, but seeing the man who had once caused so much trouble in his relationship with Sharra made his anger rise.

Dre knocked on the door.

A moment later, Sharra opened it. Her expression changed when she saw him.

SHARRA: “Dre? What are you doing here?”

DRE: “I need to talk to you.”

SHARRA: “Larry is inside.”

Dre looked past her toward the living room.

DRE: “I know. That’s why I need to talk to you before he comes out.”

Sharra hesitated.

SHARRA: “Dre, please. I don’t want any more problems.”

DRE: “I’m not here to cause problems. I just need you to understand something.”

Before Sharra could respond, Larry appeared behind her.

LARRY: “Understand what?”

Dre turned around.

Larry stepped onto the porch, his face tense.

LARRY: “You got something to say? Say it to me.”

Dre looked at Sharra, then back at Larry.

DRE: “I came here to tell you to stay away from Sharra.”

Larry stared at him in disbelief.

LARRY: “Excuse me?”

DRE: “You heard me. Stay away from her.”

Larry let out a short, bitter laugh.

LARRY: “You come to my house, stand in front of my woman, and tell me to stay away from her?”

DRE: “I’m not trying to disrespect you. I’m telling you that Sharra deserves better.”

Sharra immediately stepped between them.

SHARRA: “Dre, stop. You can’t come here and say things like that.”

Dre shook his head.

DRE: “Sharra, you know how Larry treats you. You know you deserve someone who will respect you.”

Larry’s expression hardened.

LARRY: “You don’t know anything about our relationship.”

DRE: “I know enough.”

Larry stepped closer.

LARRY: “No, you don’t. Sharra and I are getting married. We’re building a future together, and you need to stay out of it.”

Dre looked at Sharra.

DRE: “Is that what you really want?”

Sharra’s eyes filled with frustration.

SHARRA: “Yes, Dre. I’m with Larry. I’m trying to move forward with my life.”

Dre looked hurt, but he refused to back down.

DRE: “Then why do you keep answering my calls?”

Sharra froze.

Larry slowly turned toward her.

LARRY: “What is he talking about?”

SHARRA: “Larry, I can explain.”

Dre shook his head.

DRE: “You don’t have to explain anything. I’m the one who needs to make things clear.”

Larry’s jaw tightened.

LARRY: “Go ahead. Make it clear.”

Dre took a deep breath.

DRE: “I’m not giving up on Sharra. I love her, and I know she still has feelings for me.”

Larry’s eyes widened.

LARRY: “You think you’re going to marry my woman?”

DRE: “I’m saying you need to leave her alone. If you really love her, you’ll let her make her own decision.”

Larry suddenly shoved Dre backward.

Sharra gasped.

SHARRA: “Larry! Stop!”

Dre regained his balance and stared at Larry.

DRE: “You see? This is exactly what I’m talking about. You can’t even have a conversation without putting your hands on somebody.”

Larry stepped forward again.

LARRY: “You better watch your mouth.”

DRE: “Or what?”

Larry’s anger finally exploded.

He struck Dre, sending him stumbling backward.

Sharra screamed and rushed between them.

SHARRA: “Larry, stop! What is wrong with you?”

Larry tried to move around her, but she held out her hands.

LARRY: “Move, Sharra!”

SHARRA: “No! You’re not going to hurt him!”

Dre wiped his mouth and looked at Larry.

DRE: “You think hitting me is going to make me disappear?”

Larry stepped forward again.

LARRY: “I told you to stay away from her!”

Dre stood his ground.

DRE: “And I told you I’m not giving up on her.”

Larry swung at him again.

Dre tried to defend himself, but Larry continued attacking him. Sharra grabbed Larry’s arm, desperately trying to pull him away.

SHARRA: “Larry, please! You’re going to get yourself in trouble!”

Larry finally stepped back, breathing heavily.

Dre straightened his shirt and looked at Sharra.

DRE: “You see what I’m talking about? Is this the man you want to marry?”

Sharra looked between them, overwhelmed.

SHARRA: “Both of you, stop! I can’t keep doing this!”

Larry pointed toward the driveway.

LARRY: “Get out of here, Dre.”

Dre shook his head.

DRE: “I’m not leaving until Sharra tells me she doesn’t want me in her life.”

Larry’s eyes narrowed.

LARRY: “She doesn’t have to tell you anything. I’m telling you.”

Dre ignored him and turned toward Sharra.

DRE: “Look me in the eyes and tell me you don’t love me anymore.”

Sharra’s lips trembled.

SHARRA: “Dre, please don’t do this.”

DRE: “Just tell me.”

Larry stepped between them.

LARRY: “You heard her. Leave.”

Dre looked at Larry, then back at Sharra.

DRE: “I’ll leave when she tells me to.”

Sharra took a deep breath.

SHARRA: “Dre, I need you to go.”

Dre’s face fell.

DRE: “Is that really what you want?”

SHARRA: “Yes. I need you to respect my decision.”

Dre looked down for a moment before turning toward the driveway.

Larry watched him walk away, but his anger had not disappeared.

LARRY: “And don’t ever come back here again.”

Dre stopped.

He turned around slowly.

DRE: “You don’t get to decide that for her.”

Larry took another step toward him.

LARRY: “I just did.”

Dre shook his head and walked away.

Sharra stood on the porch, watching him leave.

Larry turned toward her.

LARRY: “Why didn’t you tell me he was still calling you?”

Sharra looked at him.

SHARRA: “Because I knew you would react like this.”

LARRY: “Like what? Protecting my relationship?”

SHARRA: “No, Larry. Like someone who thinks he can control every person in my life.”

Larry stared at her.

LARRY: “I’m trying to protect you.”

SHARRA: “Then trust me to make my own decisions.”

Larry looked away, struggling to control his anger.

LARRY: “I’m not going to let Dre come between us.”

Sharra shook her head.

SHARRA: “You don’t have to worry about Dre coming between us. But you need to understand that hitting him isn’t going to solve anything.”

Larry remained silent.

Sharra walked back inside.

A few minutes later, Larry’s phone rang.

He looked at the screen.

It was Dre.

Larry answered immediately.

LARRY: “What do you want now?”

DRE: “I just wanted to tell you something.”

LARRY: “You have nothing left to say to me.”

DRE: “You might want to ask Sharra why she was calling me last night.”

Larry’s expression changed.

LARRY: “What are you talking about?”

DRE: “Ask her why she told me she wasn’t sure about marrying you.”

Larry stood frozen.

LARRY: “You’re lying.”

DRE: “Then ask her.”

The call ended.

Larry slowly lowered his phone.

He looked toward the living room, where Sharra was sitting quietly on the couch.

LARRY: “Sharra.”

She looked up.

SHARRA: “What?”

Larry walked toward her.

LARRY: “Did you call Dre last night?”

Sharra’s expression changed.

SHARRA: “Larry, why are you asking me that?”

LARRY: “Just answer the question.”

Sharra looked down.

Larry’s heart began pounding.

LARRY: “Sharra?”

She slowly raised her eyes to meet his.

SHARRA: “Yes, I called him.”

Larry stepped back.

LARRY: “Why?”

Sharra opened her mouth, but before she could answer, her phone began ringing.

Dre’s name appeared on the screen.

Larry stared at it.

Then he looked at Sharra.

LARRY: “Answer it.”

Sharra hesitated.

LARRY: “Answer the phone, Sharra.”

She picked it up with trembling hands.

SHARRA: “Hello?”

Dre’s voice came through the speaker.

DRE: “Sharra, I need to tell you something before Larry finds out.”

Larry’s face turned pale.

LARRY: “Put it on speaker.”

Sharra looked at him.

DRE: “Sharra, are you alone?”

Larry stepped closer.

LARRY: “She’s not alone. I’m right here.”

There was a long silence.

Then Dre spoke again.

DRE: “Larry, you need to sit down. There’s something about Sharra’s past that you don’t know.”

Sharra’s eyes widened.

Larry slowly turned toward her.

LARRY: “What is he talking about?”

Sharra’s hands began to tremble.

SHARRA: “Larry, please…”

Dre’s voice came through the phone again.

DRE: “Sharra, tell him the truth.”

Larry stared at her, waiting for an answer.

And Sharra realized that the secret she had been trying to keep hidden was finally about to come out.
