BROOKE CONFRONTS ISAIAH AT THE MALL — SHARRA LOSES CONTROL! 🔥💔
SCENE 1 — SHOPPING MALL — AFTERNOON
The shopping mall is crowded.
Music plays softly through the stores as shoppers move from one shop to another.
Brooke and Sharra walk through the mall together, carrying several shopping bags.
Brooke looks distracted.
She tries to focus on the clothes and the stores around her, but something seems to be weighing heavily on her mind.
SHARRA
You’ve been quiet this whole time.
Brooke looks at her.
BROOKE
I’m fine.
SHARRA
You don’t look fine.
BROOKE
I just want to enjoy the day. That’s all.
Sharra nods and continues walking beside her.
They enter another store.
Brooke looks through a rack of clothes while Sharra checks a display near the entrance.
For a moment, Brooke seems relaxed.
But then her phone vibrates.
She looks at the screen.
Her expression changes.
She quickly puts the phone away.
SHARRA
Who was that?
BROOKE
Nobody.
Sharra studies Brooke’s face.
Before she can say anything else, they hear someone calling Brooke’s name from across the mall.
ISAIAH
Brooke!
Brooke freezes.
Her eyes widen.
She slowly turns around.
Isaiah is standing several feet away.
He looks nervous and emotional.
Brooke immediately looks away.
BROOKE
No…
Sharra turns toward Isaiah.
Her expression becomes serious.
ISAIAH
Brooke, please. Just hear me out.
BROOKE
Isaiah, not here.
ISAIAH
I didn’t know where else to find you.
Brooke takes a deep breath.
BROOKE
You found me. Now what?
Isaiah looks down.
He knows he has hurt her.
SCENE 2 — MALL WALKWAY — CONTINUOUS
People continue walking around them.
Isaiah steps closer but keeps his distance.
ISAIAH
I came here because I need to apologize.
BROOKE
An apology isn’t going to change what happened.
ISAIAH
I know.
But I still need to say it.
I’m sorry, Brooke.
Brooke’s expression softens for a moment, but the pain in her eyes remains.
ISAIAH
I know I hurt you. I know I made choices that I shouldn’t have made. And I know I broke your trust.
BROOKE
You did more than break my trust.
BROOKE
You made me feel like I wasn’t enough.
ISAIAH
You were always enough.
BROOKE
Then why didn’t you act like it?
Isaiah has no answer.
Silence falls between them.
Sharra watches the conversation closely.
Her anger begins to rise.
ISAIAH
I can’t change the past. But I wish I could.
BROOKE
Sometimes wishing isn’t enough.
Suddenly, Sharra steps forward.
SHARRA
Okay, that’s enough.
SHARRA
No. I’ve heard enough.
ISAIAH
This is between me and Brooke.
SHARRA
Then you shouldn’t have come here.
ISAIAH
I’m not here to argue with you.
SHARRA
But you are here bothering Brooke.
She doesn’t need your apology!
Brooke becomes uncomfortable.
BROOKE
Sharra, please stop.
But Sharra is already furious.
SCENE 3 — MALL WALKWAY — MOMENTS LATER
Sharra suddenly pushes Isaiah away.
Isaiah steps backward, shocked.
ISAIAH
What are you doing?
Sharra angrily moves toward him and starts hitting him.
Several shoppers turn around.
Brooke immediately steps between them.
BROOKE
Sharra! Stop!
Brooke grabs Sharra’s arm and pulls her back.
SHARRA
He deserves it!
BROOKE
No! This isn’t helping!
Isaiah stands a few feet away, stunned.
Brooke turns toward Sharra.
Her expression is now completely different.
She is angry.
BROOKE
Why would you do that?
SHARRA
Because he hurt you!
BROOKE
That doesn’t give you the right to attack him!
SHARRA
I’m trying to protect you!
BROOKE
I didn’t ask you to!
SHARRA
After everything he did to you, you’re defending him?
BROOKE
I’m not defending him.
I’m telling you that this isn’t the way to handle it.
Isaiah stays silent.
BROOKE
You need to leave.
SHARRA
What?
BROOKE
You heard me.
Just go.
Sharra looks at her, hurt and angry.
SHARRA
You’re really choosing him over me?
BROOKE
This isn’t about choosing him.
It’s about me choosing what I want for myself.
SCENE 4 — MALL ENTRANCE — CONTINUOUS
Brooke walks away from Sharra.
Sharra follows her for a moment.
SHARRA
Brooke, wait!
Brooke stops.
She slowly turns around.
Her eyes are filled with years of frustration.
BROOKE
No.
Just go. I don’t want to see you anymore.
Get out of my face.
Brooke wipes away a tear.
BROOKE
You’ve done nothing but hurt me.
And I’m tired of pretending everything is okay.
You had no right to attack Isaiah.
SHARRA
I did it because I care about you.
BROOKE
Then you should have listened to me.
A long silence follows.
BROOKE
You need to understand something.
You haven’t been good to me either.
Sharra’s eyes fill with tears.
BROOKE
How could you be with someone else while I was still with you?
Sharra looks away.
BROOKE
That question has been hurting me for so long.
I don’t want this drama anymore.
SHARRA
So what are you saying?
BROOKE
I’m saying it’s over.
Sharra stands frozen.
Brooke turns away.
SCENE 5 — OUTSIDE THE MALL — EVENING
Brooke walks outside.
The sun is beginning to set.
Isaiah follows but keeps a respectful distance.
He stops several feet behind her.
ISAIAH
Brooke.
I’m sorry.
Brooke closes her eyes for a moment.
BROOKE
I heard you.
But I’m not ready to forgive you.
ISAIAH
I understand.
BROOKE
Maybe someday I will.
But right now, I need time.
ISAIAH
I’ll give you that.
Brooke takes a deep breath.
For the first time, she looks a little stronger.
She walks away, leaving both the argument and the painful memories behind her.
Isaiah watches her disappear into the crowd.
He knows one apology cannot repair everything.
And Brooke knows that before she can move forward, she has to finally choose herself. ❤️
