Scene 1 — Brooke Gets The Shocking News
Late afternoon. Brooke is sitting alone when she suddenly receives news that Isaiah is leaving Philly. Her face immediately changes. She freezes for a moment, struggling to believe what she has just heard.
BROOKE: What do you mean Isaiah is moving to Philly?
Brooke listens carefully, hoping she misunderstood.
BROOKE: No… no, that can’t be true.
Her breathing becomes heavier as the reality begins to sink in. Isaiah is leaving. And he is leaving without telling her.
BROOKE: Why would he do this?
Brooke quickly stands up. Her eyes begin to fill with tears.
BROOKE: I have to talk to him.
Without wasting another second, Brooke grabs her things and rushes out.
Scene 2 — Isaiah Packs His Belongings
Inside Isaiah’s house, several bags are lying open on the floor. Clothes, shoes, and personal belongings are spread across the room. Isaiah silently places the last of his things into a bag. His face looks tired and frustrated. For days, he has been dealing with problems he never wanted. Larry and Sharra are furious. They believe Isaiah had something to do with Brooke leaving home. They have been looking for him and blaming him for helping her run away. Isaiah closes one bag and takes a deep breath.
ISAIAH: I just need to get away from all of this.
He looks around the room. This house is full of memories, but he knows he cannot stay.
ISAIAH: Philly is a fresh start.
He picks up another bag.
ISAIAH: A new city. A new life.
Suddenly, there is a loud knock at the door. Isaiah stops moving. His expression immediately becomes tense.
ISAIAH: Who is that now?
Another knock follows. Isaiah slowly walks toward the door.
Scene 3 — Brooke Arrives
Isaiah opens the door. The moment he sees Brooke standing there, his face hardens. Brooke’s eyes are red from crying. She looks exhausted and frightened. For a few seconds, neither of them says anything.
BROOKE: Isaiah…
Isaiah looks away.
ISAIAH: What are you doing here?
Brooke steps closer.
BROOKE: Is it true?
Isaiah remains silent.
BROOKE: Are you really leaving?

BROOKE: You’re moving to Philly?
ISAIAH: Yes, Brooke.
Brooke shakes her head in disbelief.
BROOKE: You were just going to leave?
ISAIAH: I don’t have a choice.
BROOKE: You didn’t even tell me.
Isaiah lets out a frustrated sigh.
ISAIAH: I knew this would happen.
BROOKE: What would happen?
ISAIAH: You would come here crying and begging me to stay.
Brooke’s tears begin to fall.
BROOKE: Because I love you.
Isaiah looks uncomfortable.
BROOKE: Please, Isaiah… don’t go.
She steps even closer to him.
BROOKE: Please don’t leave me.
Scene 4 — Brooke Begs Him To Stay
Brooke’s voice begins to break. She can barely hold back her emotions.
BROOKE: Please don’t go to Philly.
Isaiah remains quiet.
BROOKE: I know things have been difficult, but we can fix this.
She reaches toward him, but Isaiah steps back. Brooke looks hurt.
BROOKE: Please… don’t leave me.
Her tears fall faster.
BROOKE: I don’t know what I’m going to do without you.
Isaiah closes his eyes for a moment.
BROOKE: I can’t live my life without you in it.
ISAIAH: Brooke…
BROOKE: No. Please, just listen to me.
Brooke wipes her tears.
BROOKE: You can’t just disappear and start a new life without me.
ISAIAH: Why not?
BROOKE: Because we have been through too much together.
Isaiah looks at the packed bags behind him.
BROOKE: Everything we’ve been through has to mean something.
ISAIAH: It does mean something.
BROOKE: Then stay.
Isaiah’s face becomes serious.
ISAIAH: That’s exactly the problem.
Brooke looks confused.
BROOKE: What do you mean?
Scene 5 — Isaiah Finally Speaks His Mind
Isaiah’s frustration finally begins to show.
ISAIAH: Because of you, Larry and Sharra are both furious with me.
Brooke becomes silent.
ISAIAH: They’re looking for me, Brooke.
His voice grows stronger.
ISAIAH: They think I helped you run away from home.
BROOKE: Isaiah, I never told them that.
ISAIAH: It doesn’t matter!
Brooke takes a step back, shocked by his sudden anger.

ISAIAH: I’m trying to save myself from this situation.
BROOKE: And what about me?
