Atlanta — Afternoon
The city is busy under the afternoon sun. Cars move through the streets as Brooke arrives in Atlanta, still carrying the frustration of unanswered questions. She has only one thing on her mind — Isaiah.
She checks her phone. No new messages. Her expression hardens. She puts it away and heads straight toward his house — she needs answers, and she wants them now.
Isaiah’s House
Brooke pulls up outside, gets out, and walks quickly toward the front door. Before she can knock, it opens. A young woman steps outside. Brooke stops. Neither says anything for a moment.
Brooke looks her up and down, confused — she’s never seen her before.
BROOKE: Who are you?
The girl looks at Brooke calmly, seemingly surprised by the question.
NEW GIRLFRIEND: I’m Isaiah’s girlfriend.
Brooke freezes, her expression instantly changing.
BROOKE: You’re what?
NEW GIRLFRIEND: Isaiah’s girlfriend.
The words echo in Brooke’s mind. She wasn’t expecting this — not today, not like this. She takes a deep breath, trying to control her emotions. But the shock quickly turns into anger.
The Confrontation
BROOKE: Isaiah has a girlfriend?
NEW GIRLFRIEND: Yes.
BROOKE: And you’re telling me this like it’s nothing?
The new girlfriend crosses her arms.
NEW GIRLFRIEND: I don’t know what your problem is, but you need to talk to Isaiah.
Brooke steps closer.
BROOKE: Oh, I’m definitely going to talk to Isaiah.
The tension between them grows. Neither woman wants to move.
NEW GIRLFRIEND: You came all the way to Atlanta just to cause drama?
BROOKE: I came here because I thought Isaiah owed me an explanation.
NEW GIRLFRIEND: Then ask him.
BROOKE: I’m asking you right now!
Their voices rise. The argument becomes more heated. From inside the house, Isaiah suddenly hears the commotion, his eyes widening — he recognizes Brooke’s voice. He rushes toward the door.
Isaiah Steps In
Isaiah steps outside and immediately sees them arguing.
ISAIAH: Brooke?!
Brooke turns toward him — hurt, angry, and betrayed all at once.
BROOKE: So it’s true?
Isaiah looks nervous.
ISAIAH: Brooke, wait—
BROOKE: Don’t tell me to wait!
Isaiah looks between the two women.
ISAIAH: Everybody just calm down.
Brooke points toward the new girlfriend.
BROOKE: You replaced me this quickly?
ISAIAH: It’s not that simple.
BROOKE: It looks pretty simple to me.
The Breaking Point
The new girlfriend steps forward.
NEW GIRLFRIEND: You need to stop blaming me.
Brooke turns toward her — the argument starts again. Isaiah immediately moves between them.
ISAIAH: Enough! Both of you!
But Brooke is too angry to listen. She grabs the new girlfriend by the collar. The girl is startled. Isaiah immediately tries to separate them.
ISAIAH: Brooke, let her go!
BROOKE: No!
Isaiah reaches for Brooke’s hands, trying to get her to calm down.
ISAIAH: Brooke, please! This isn’t helping!
Brooke looks directly at the new girlfriend, her anger obvious.
BROOKE: You knew about me?
The girl looks confused.
NEW GIRLFRIEND: I knew Isaiah had a past. I didn’t know you were coming here.
Brooke tightens her grip. Isaiah tries again.
ISAIAH: Brooke, listen to me!
She finally looks at him.
BROOKE: Then explain it!
Isaiah goes silent. For a moment, nobody speaks. The street around them seems unusually quiet. Brooke waits for an answer, but Isaiah can’t seem to find one.
The Secret
BROOKE: Tell me the truth, Isaiah. When did this happen?
Isaiah takes a breath.
ISAIAH: Brooke…
BROOKE: When?
Isaiah looks at her. His silence says more than his words could. Brooke’s expression changes — she slowly realizes there may be more to the story than she knew. The new girlfriend looks at Isaiah suspiciously.
NEW GIRLFRIEND: Isaiah… what is she talking about?
Isaiah looks trapped between them.
ISAIAH: This isn’t how I wanted you both to find out.
Brooke looks shocked.
BROOKE: Both of us?
The new girlfriend’s face changes.
NEW GIRLFRIEND: What does that mean?
Isaiah doesn’t answer. Brooke finally lets go of the collar, but the tension doesn’t disappear — the silence only grows heavier. She steps back, looking directly at him.
BROOKE: You better have a really good explanation.
Isaiah steps toward her.
ISAIAH: I can explain everything.
BROOKE: Then start talking.
Someone Else Arrives
Isaiah opens his mouth. But before he can say anything — a car suddenly pulls up outside the house. Everyone turns toward it. Isaiah’s expression instantly changes. Brooke notices.
BROOKE: Who is that?
Isaiah says nothing. The car door opens. Someone steps out. Brooke looks confused. The new girlfriend looks at Isaiah. Isaiah looks completely nervous. Brooke slowly turns back toward him.
Whatever is happening next could change everything.
