AMBER’S NEW BEGINNING 🎙️

A Cinematic Story of Support, Confidence & A Fresh Start
INT. DAVE’S OFFICE – AFTERNOON
The afternoon sunlight pours through the tall office windows.
DAVE sits behind his desk, reviewing several documents on his laptop. The office is quiet.
KNOCK. KNOCK.
Dave looks toward the door.
DAVE
Come in.
The door slowly opens. AMBER steps inside. She looks worried, carrying her phone tightly in one hand.
DAVE
Amber?
What’s wrong?
Amber walks closer to the desk. She takes a deep breath before speaking.
AMBER
Dave, I need your advice.
I don’t know what I’m supposed to do anymore.
Dave closes his laptop and gives her his full attention.
DAVE
Sit down.
Tell me what’s going on.
Amber sits across from him and places her phone on the desk.
AMBER
It’s the media. Everybody wants something from me. They keep asking questions, and every time I say something, it becomes another story.
AMBER
I feel like no matter what I do, somebody is going to twist my words.
Dave listens carefully. He doesn’t interrupt. After a moment, he leans back in his chair.
DAVE
Then stop letting the media control the conversation.
AMBER
What do you mean?
DAVE
You need your own platform. A place where you can speak directly to people without someone else taking your words out of context.
AMBER
But how would I even do that?
DAVE
You already have the voice.
You just need the right place to use it.
Amber remains silent. Dave stands from his chair and walks toward the window, thinking.
DAVE
Actually…
I have a better idea.
AMBER
What?
DAVE
I’m going to have a podcast office built for you.
AMBER’S EYES WIDEN.
AMBER
Wait…
What did you just say?
DAVE
You heard me.
A podcast office.
Your own space.
Your own equipment.
Your own platform.
AMBER
Dave, are you serious?
DAVE
Completely serious. If you’re going to deal with the media, you need to be able to tell your own story.
AMBER
I honestly didn’t expect you to say that.
DAVE
Why not?
AMBER
Because most people would tell me to figure it out myself.
DAVE
You’ve already got enough going on. You don’t need another person making things harder for you.
AMBER
You know Wayne got jealous when he found out about this.
DAVE
He did?
AMBER
Yes. He couldn’t believe you were helping me build something like this.
AMBER
Now Amber and Dave have their own podcast office.
DAVE
Then I guess we better make it worth talking about.
AMBER
I’m ready.
CUT TO: ONE WEEK LATER
INT. PODCAST OFFICE – ONE WEEK LATER
A door slowly opens. Amber stands outside. Dave stands beside her. The room is still being prepared.
DAVE
Ready?
AMBER
Open it.
Dave opens the door. Amber steps inside. Her expression instantly changes.
The room is beautifully arranged. A professional podcast desk sits in the center. Two microphones are positioned neatly in front of the chairs. Soft studio lights illuminate the room. Acoustic panels cover the walls. A large screen displays the podcast logo. Everything looks professional and modern.
AMBER CAN’T BELIEVE HER EYES.
AMBER
Oh my goodness…
DAVE
What do you think?
AMBER
This is incredible.
You actually did it.
DAVE
I told you I would.
AMBER
I don’t even know what to say.
DAVE
You don’t have to say anything.
Just use it.
AMBER
No. I need to say something.
Thank you.
DAVE
You’re welcome.
AMBER
No, Dave. You don’t understand. You have supported me so much.
AMBER
When everything started getting complicated, you were there. When I didn’t know what decision to make, you listened. And now you’ve given me a whole office.
AMBER
You didn’t have to do any of this. But you did. And I’ll never forget it.
DAVE
Amber, sometimes people just need somebody who believes in them.
AMBER
And you believed in me.
DAVE
I still do.
AMBER
Then I’m going to make sure this wasn’t a waste.
DAVE
That’s what I wanted to hear.
Amber sits in the podcast chair and adjusts the microphone. She looks at Dave.
AMBER
How do I look?
DAVE
Like you’re ready for your first episode.
AMBER
I think I am.
Dave walks over and checks the microphone. He adjusts the camera angle.
DAVE
All right.
Camera is ready.
Microphone is ready.
Lights are ready.
Amber looks directly toward the camera. For the first time, she looks completely confident.
AMBER
Then let’s do this.
Dave steps behind the camera and gives her a thumbs-up.
DAVE
Go ahead.
RECORDING

The recording light turns red.
REC.
AMBER
Welcome, everyone.
This is my new podcast.

And today, we’re going to talk about something I’ve learned the hard way—
You can’t always control what people say about you. But you can control how you tell your own story.
Dave watches from behind the camera. A proud smile appears on his face. Amber continues speaking confidently.
DAVE
Keep going.
Amber nods and turns back toward the camera. The podcast office that once seemed impossible is now real.
For Amber, it represents something much bigger than a room. It represents a fresh beginning. A place where she can speak for herself. A place where her voice belongs to her.
The camera slowly pulls back. The studio lights glow warmly around Amber. Dave remains behind the camera, quietly supporting her. Amber continues recording.
THE PODCAST HAS FINALLY BEGUN…

Amber now has her own platform, her own voice, and a new chapter waiting to unfold.
