Wayne’s house stands quietly beneath the golden afternoon sunlight. Lauren’s car pulls into the driveway. She steps out, slams the car door, and marches toward the entrance.
She knocks hard on the door. When Wayne finally opens it, he looks surprised to see her standing there with red eyes and an angry expression.
“Lauren? What are you doing here? Why are you acting like this?”
“Don’t you dare ask me what I’m doing here, Wayne!”
Lauren pushes past him and enters the house. Wayne closes the door slowly, already sensing that something is seriously wrong.
“You think I don’t know what you’ve been doing behind my back?”
“Lauren, calm down. What’s going on?”
“Calm down? You want me to calm down after what you’ve done to me? I found out everything! I know you’ve got yourself a new girlfriend, and I know you bought her a new house!”
Wayne’s expression becomes tense. He realizes exactly why Lauren has come to confront him.

Lauren stands directly in front of Wayne, struggling to control her emotions. Wayne looks away, hoping to avoid the confrontation, but Lauren steps closer.
“Look at me when I’m talking to you! Why did you betray me? Why did you find another girlfriend? Was I not good enough for you?”
Her voice breaks, and tears begin rolling down her cheeks.
“I trusted you, Wayne! I thought I meant something to you. I thought what we had was special!”
“Lauren, you need to listen to me. Things aren’t as simple as you think.”
“Then explain them to me! Explain why another woman is getting everything while I’m standing here trying to understand what happened to us!”
Wayne exhales sharply and rubs his forehead. Lauren bursts into tears and strikes his chest with her hands in a fit of emotional frustration.
“Lauren, stop! What are you doing?”
“You hurt me, Wayne! You have no idea how much you’ve hurt me!”
Wayne steps backward, raising his hands defensively. The room fills with Lauren’s sobs and the heavy silence of a relationship falling apart.
“I understand that you’re upset, but you can’t come into my house and attack me.”
“Then you shouldn’t have broken my heart!”
SCENE 4: YAYA WALKS OUT OF WAYNE’S BEDROOM

Just as the confrontation reaches its breaking point, the bedroom door opens. Yaya steps out of Wayne’s bedroom after hearing the shouting.
“Wayne? What’s going on out here?”
Wayne turns toward the hallway, his expression becoming worried.
“Yaya, stay there for a moment.”
But it is already too late. Lauren hears Yaya’s voice and immediately turns around. The moment she sees Yaya, her sadness transforms into uncontrollable fury.
“So you’re Yaya?”
“Yes. And who are you?”
“You don’t even know who I am, do you? You’re standing in Wayne’s house like you haven’t done anything wrong!”
“I don’t understand what you’re talking about. Why are you shouting at me?”
“Because of you! Wayne found a new girlfriend, bought her a house, and now you’re walking out of his bedroom!”
Yaya looks toward Wayne, waiting for an explanation. Wayne’s eyes widen as he realizes the situation is about to become even more explosive.
“Lauren, don’t do anything stupid. Let’s talk about this.”
“Stay out of this, Wayne!”
“I didn’t come here to fight with you. If you have a problem with Wayne, take it up with him.”
Lauren steps forward, her face twisting with rage. Before Yaya can say another word, Lauren suddenly raises her hand and slaps her across the face.
Yaya’s head turns to the side from the unexpected impact. She immediately brings her hand to her cheek, staring at Lauren in complete shock.

“You have no idea what I’ve been through! You don’t know what Wayne and I had!”
“Then why are you blaming me for everything? You need to talk to Wayne, not take your anger out on me!”
Lauren looks at Wayne, desperately searching his face for some sign that he still cares about her.
“Wayne, tell her! Tell her that I mattered to you! Tell her that I wasn’t just some woman you could throw away!”
Wayne remains silent for several seconds. That silence hurts Lauren more than any answer could have.
“Lauren, whatever happened between us, this isn’t the way to handle it. You need to leave.”
Lauren stares at him as though she cannot believe what she is hearing.
“You’re choosing her over me?”
“I’m telling you that this situation has gone too far.”
Yaya steps behind Wayne, still holding her cheek. Lauren looks at both of them, feeling isolated and betrayed.

Wayne lowers his eyes, unable to offer the reassurance Lauren desperately wants.
