SCENE 1: ANNA ARRIVES AT WAYNE’S HOUSE

INT. WAYNE’S HOUSE — AFTERNOON

Wayne opens the front door and finds Anna standing outside. She enters with a serious expression, determined to discover the truth about his marriage plans.

ANNA

Wayne, I need an honest answer. I heard you are planning to get married. Who is the woman you want to marry?

WAYNE

Anna, why are you coming here asking me questions like this? You could have called me first.

ANNA

Because I am tired of hearing things from other people. If you are planning to marry someone, I deserve to know the truth.

Wayne looks away, uncomfortable with her questions. He knows that the situation could become complicated if Anna discovers everything about Yaya.

WAYNE

You don’t need to worry about everything happening in my life. I can handle my own business.

ANNA

That is not an answer, Wayne. Who is she?

Before Wayne can respond, the sound of footsteps comes from the hallway. Yaya is approaching the living room.

SCENE 2: YAYA DISCOVERS ANNA

INT. WAYNE’S LIVING ROOM — CONTINUOUS

Yaya enters and immediately notices Anna standing beside Wayne. Her expression changes, and she looks at Wayne suspiciously.

YAYA

Wayne, what is she doing here?

WAYNE

Yaya, calm down. We are just talking.

YAYA

Talking about what? Why is she standing in your house asking you questions?

ANNA

So you must be the woman everyone has been talking about. Are you the one Wayne is planning to marry?

Yaya turns toward Anna, clearly irritated by her question.

YAYA

You need to leave. This is not the place for you to be asking questions.

ANNA

I came here to speak to Wayne, and I will finish my conversation with him.

YAYA

Wayne, tell her to get out of your house!

Wayne raises his hands, hoping to stop the argument before it gets worse.

WAYNE

Both of you need to relax. I don’t want any drama today.

Yaya shakes her head and walks toward the hallway, expecting Wayne to handle the situation. However, she remains suspicious of Anna’s presence.

SCENE 3: ANNA REFUSES TO LEAVE

INT. WAYNE’S LIVING ROOM — MOMENTS LATER

Wayne turns toward Anna and quietly asks her to leave. Anna refuses, hurt that he seems more concerned about Yaya’s reaction than her feelings.

WAYNE

Anna, I think you should go home. This is not the right time for you to be here.

ANNA

You want me to leave after everything? You don’t even seem to like Yaya that much, so why is she here acting like she owns your house?

WAYNE

You don’t understand everything that is happening between us.

ANNA

Then explain it to me! If you have nothing to hide, why are you afraid to tell me the truth?

Wayne looks toward the hallway. He realizes that simply asking Anna to leave will not solve his problem. Suddenly, he thinks of a desperate way to calm her down.

WAYNE

Anna, wait. Maybe we have been looking at everything the wrong way.

ANNA

What are you talking about now?

Wayne takes a breath and reaches for Anna’s hand, preparing to make an unexpected announcement.

SCENE 4: WAYNE PROPOSES TO ANNA

INT. WAYNE’S LIVING ROOM — CONTINUOUS

Wayne looks into Anna’s eyes. His sudden change in attitude leaves her confused.

WAYNE

You want to know who I want to marry? What if I told you that I want you to be that woman?

ANNA

Are you serious right now, Wayne?

WAYNE

Anna, I don’t want us to keep fighting. You are important to me, and I want you to believe that.

Wayne takes out a ring and lowers himself onto one knee. Anna covers her mouth in shock.

WAYNE

Anna, will you marry me?

ANNA

A few minutes ago, you were telling me to leave. Now you are asking me to marry you? I never expected this!

WAYNE

I know this is unexpected, but I want you to understand how important you are to me.

Anna smiles and accepts the ring, believing Wayne has finally chosen her. But neither of them realizes that Yaya has returned to the hallway and witnessed the entire proposal.

Yaya stops in disbelief when she sees Wayne standing beside Anna. Her eyes move toward the ring in Anna’s hand.

YAYA

Wayne? What am I looking at right now?

Wayne turns around. The smile disappears from his face as he realizes that Yaya has witnessed everything.

WAYNE

Yaya, let me explain. This is not what you think it is.

YAYA

Not what I think it is? I just watched you get down on one knee and propose to Anna!

ANNA

Yaya, I didn’t know you were standing there.

YAYA

You told me to get her out of this house. You made me believe she was the problem, but now you are asking her to marry you?

Yaya looks at Wayne with anger and disappointment. She realizes that his words and actions do not match.

SCENE 6: YAYA SLAPS ANNA

INT. WAYNE’S LIVING ROOM — CONTINUOUS

YAYA

You think you can just walk into this house and take my place?

ANNA

I didn’t force Wayne to propose. He made that decision himself. If you have a problem, ask him why.

Yaya moves closer to Anna, overwhelmed by anger. In a sudden burst of emotion, she slaps Anna. Anna steps back in shock.

ANNA

Did you just slap me?

Wayne rushes between the two women, trying to prevent the argument from escalating further.

WAYNE

Yaya! Why would you do that?

YAYA

You have the nerve to ask me that? You told me to get this woman out of your house, but instead, you proposed to her! You are cheating on me!

Wayne struggles to respond. Both women stare at him, waiting for an explanation.

WAYNE

Yaya, I wasn’t trying to hurt you. Everything happened so quickly, and I was trying to stop the argument.

YAYA

So you proposed to another woman just to stop an argument? Do you honestly expect me to believe that?

Wayne falls silent. Anna looks at the ring in her hand, and her happiness begins to disappear.

ANNA

Wayne, tell me the truth. Did you really mean what you said, or did you only propose because you wanted me to stop questioning you?

Wayne looks at Anna but struggles to answer. Yaya notices his hesitation and shakes her head.

YAYA

Look at him, Anna. He cannot even give you a straight answer. You need to understand what kind of situation you are getting yourself into.

WAYNE

Enough! I cannot keep doing this with both of you shouting at each other.

YAYA

You need to make up your mind, Wayne. I am not going to stay in a situation where you tell me one thing and do another.

Yaya walks toward the front door. Before leaving, she turns around for one final look.

YAYA

I hope that proposal was worth losing my trust.

Yaya leaves. The door closes, leaving Wayne and Anna alone in the living room.

INT. WAYNE’S LIVING ROOM — EVENING

Anna looks at Wayne, waiting for him to explain why he made such a sudden proposal. She slowly places the ring on the table.

ANNA

Wayne, I need the truth. Are you choosing me because you love me, or because you were afraid of losing control of this situation?

WAYNE

Anna, please give me some time. I need to explain everything.

ANNA

You just asked me to marry you, and now you need time? I cannot accept a proposal when I don’t even know whether you meant it.

Anna turns toward the door, disappointed and confused.

ANNA

When you are ready to tell me the truth, you know where to find me.

Anna walks out, leaving Wayne alone with the ring on the table. He realizes that his desperate attempt to keep Anna happy may have destroyed both relationships.

Wayne sits down and stares at the ring. Yaya has lost her trust in him, and Anna no longer knows whether his proposal was genuine.

He reaches for his phone, wondering whether he should call Yaya first or try to stop Anna from leaving his life forever.

But before he can make a decision, his phone lights up with a new message. Wayne reads it, and his expression suddenly changes.
