Brooke Reports Isaiah to the Police
SCENE 1 — Brooke Makes a Decision
The evening is quiet, but Brooke’s mind is filled with anger, pain, and disappointment. She sits alone for a moment, staring at her phone while thinking about everything that has happened between her and Isaiah.
Brooke has reached a point where she knows she can no longer remain silent. She takes a deep breath, gathers her belongings, and walks out of the house.
She has made a decision.
Brooke is going to the police station. She wants to report what happened and explain why she no longer feels comfortable remaining silent about Isaiah’s behavior.
SCENE 2 — Brooke Arrives at the Police Station
Brooke enters the police station slowly. The room is busy, but she barely notices the people around her. Her attention is focused on one thing: getting help.
She approaches the front desk. A female police officer looks up and immediately notices Brooke’s worried expression.
OFFICER
“Ma’am, can I help you?”
Brooke takes a moment before answering.
BROOKE
“Yes. I need to file a report.”
The officer becomes attentive and gestures toward a nearby chair.
OFFICER
“Of course. Please have a seat. Tell me what happened.”
Brooke sits down. She tries to control her emotions, but the memories are still fresh in her mind.
SCENE 3 — Brooke Tells the Officer About Isaiah
The officer takes out a report form and prepares to write.
OFFICER
“Start from the beginning. Take your time.”
Brooke looks down at her hands.
BROOKE
“It’s about Isaiah.”
The officer writes his name down.
BROOKE
“I trusted him. I believed he cared about me, but things changed.”
Brooke pauses as her voice begins to shake.
BROOKE
“There were times when Isaiah tried to force me into something I did not want. I told him no, but he didn’t respect my boundaries.”
The officer listens carefully.
OFFICER
“Are you saying he tried to force himself on you?”
Brooke nods.
BROOKE
“Yes.”
A tear rolls down her cheek. She explains that she felt frightened and uncomfortable during the incident and did not know how to handle the situation at the time.
OFFICER
“Did he hurt you physically?”
BROOKE
“I was afraid he might. The situation made me feel unsafe.”
The officer continues documenting Brooke’s statement.
OFFICER
“You did the right thing by coming here and telling us.”
SCENE 4 — Brooke Reveals Another Betrayal
Brooke wipes her tears, but she knows there is something else she needs to explain.
BROOKE
“And there’s more.”
OFFICER
“Go ahead.”
Brooke’s expression changes. Her sadness turns into anger.
BROOKE
“I also found out that Isaiah has been cheating on me.”
The officer remains calm and continues listening.
OFFICER
“You believe he has been seeing someone else?”
BROOKE
“Yes. I gave him my trust. I stood by him. I tried to make things work, but he betrayed me.”
Brooke shakes her head.
BROOKE
“How could he treat me like that after everything I did for him?”
The officer explains that Brooke’s allegations will be documented separately and that the police will focus on the information relevant to the investigation.
SCENE 5 — Brooke Demands Accountability
The officer finishes writing the initial statement and asks Brooke if there is anything else she wants to add.
Brooke looks directly at her.
BROOKE
“Yes. I want Isaiah arrested.”
The officer remains professional.
OFFICER
“I understand that you want him arrested, but an arrest depends on the evidence, the investigation, and what the law allows us to do.”
Brooke nods, although her frustration is obvious.
BROOKE
“I just want him held accountable.”
OFFICER
“We will take your statement seriously. We may need additional information, witnesses, messages, or other evidence related to what you reported.”
Brooke immediately takes out her phone.
BROOKE
“I have messages. There are conversations between us that may help explain what happened.”
OFFICER
“Keep those messages and do not delete anything.”
SCENE 6 — Brooke Remembers Everything
For a moment, Brooke becomes quiet. Her mind returns to the moments when she felt trapped, frightened, and unheard.
She remembers telling Isaiah to stop. She remembers feeling uncomfortable and wondering why someone she trusted could treat her that way.
Then she remembers discovering his betrayal.
BROOKE
“I kept asking myself what I did wrong.”
The officer looks at her with compassion.
OFFICER
“You are not responsible for someone else choosing to disrespect your boundaries.”
Brooke looks down. The words affect her deeply.
BROOKE
“I just wanted to feel safe.”
OFFICER
“And you deserve to feel safe.”
Brooke wipes her face and slowly nods.
SCENE 7 — The Report Is Recorded
The officer reviews the statement with Brooke and makes sure that Brooke understands what has been documented.
OFFICER
“I’m going to review this with you before you sign anything.”
Brooke listens carefully as the officer explains the next steps.
OFFICER
“We will review the information you provided and determine what happens next. If additional evidence is needed, we may contact you.”
Brooke signs the statement.
Her hand trembles slightly as she puts the pen down.
For Brooke, this moment feels like the beginning of a new chapter.
SCENE 8 — Brooke Makes One Final Request
Brooke stands up. Before leaving, she turns back toward the officer.
BROOKE
“Please don’t let him do this to anyone else.”
The officer looks at her seriously.
OFFICER
“We will follow the proper process and investigate your report.”
Brooke nods.
BROOKE
“I just want justice.”
OFFICER
“Then let the investigation begin.”
SCENE 9 — Brooke Leaves the Police Station
Brooke steps outside the police station. The cool night air touches her face.
She looks at her phone. Several missed calls and messages from Isaiah appear on the screen.
She stares at his name for a moment.
For a second, she considers answering.
Then she locks her phone.
She is done arguing.
She is done begging for answers.
She wants to protect herself and move forward.
Brooke walks away from the station with a determined expression.
SCENE 10 — What Happens Next?
Meanwhile, Isaiah has no idea what Brooke has just done. He is going about his day, unaware that Brooke has reported the situation to the police.
Soon, the consequences of his actions may catch up with him.
Brooke has provided her statement and shared information that she believes supports her allegations. Now, she must wait for the authorities to review the report and determine the next steps.
But one question remains:
What will Isaiah do when he discovers that Brooke has gone to the police?
Will he try to explain himself? Will he deny everything? Or will the evidence reveal what really happened?
Brooke has made her choice. She wants accountability, safety, and justice.
The report has been filed — and now, the investigation begins.
