THE NIGHT DAN TOOK LAUREN

A Night of Fear, Betrayal & a Dangerous Secret

The night was supposed to end with Lauren going home.

Instead, one violent decision would leave Delicia unconscious, Lauren terrified, and Dan disappearing into the darkness with her.

No one knew where he was taking her.

And no one knew what he planned to do next.

🎬 SCENE ONE — OUTSIDE THE HOUSE — NIGHT

The street is quiet. A cold wind moves through the trees as Lauren stands near the front door, visibly shaken.

DAN
“Lauren, come with me. Now.”

Lauren takes a step backward.

LAUREN
“Dan, where are you taking me?”

Dan reaches toward her arm. Before he can pull her away, Delicia rushes outside and immediately steps between them.

DELICIA
“You’re not taking her anywhere.”

DAN
“Move, Delicia.”

DELICIA
“No. Lauren doesn’t want to go with you.”

Lauren looks at Delicia with fear in her eyes.

LAUREN
“Delicia… please don’t make this worse.”

DELICIA
“I have to stop him.”

⚡ SCENE TWO — THE CONFRONTATION

Delicia grabs Lauren’s hand and tries to pull her behind her.

DELICIA
“Run, Lauren!”

Lauren hesitates. Dan suddenly loses control and strikes Delicia.

Delicia stumbles backward and falls to the ground. She becomes unconscious.

LAUREN
“DELICIA!”

Lauren immediately drops beside her.

LAUREN
“Delicia! Wake up!”

Delicia doesn’t respond. Lauren’s hands begin to shake.

LAUREN
“Please… please wake up.”

Dan stands behind her. For a moment, even he looks stunned by what happened.

DAN
“We’re leaving.”

LAUREN
“No! I’m not going anywhere with you!”

Dan grabs Lauren and carries her away.

LAUREN
“Dan, let me go!”

LAUREN
“Someone help! Please!”

🌙 SCENE THREE — THE ESCAPE

Dan carries Lauren down the dark street. Lauren continues struggling.

LAUREN
“Put me down!”

DAN
“Stop fighting me.”

LAUREN
“You hurt Delicia! She needs help!”

Dan doesn’t answer.

LAUREN
“Where are you taking me?”

Dan remains silent as the street becomes darker.

💔 SCENE FOUR — THE EMPTY ROAD

There are no people around. Only the sound of Dan’s footsteps can be heard.

LAUREN
“Why are you doing this?”

DAN
“Because if I let you go, you’ll leave me.”

LAUREN
“You don’t get to decide that.”

Dan looks ahead.

DAN
“Tonight, you stay with me.”

LAUREN
“I will never forgive you for this.”

Those words hit Dan harder than he expected.

🏠 SCENE FIVE — BACK AT THE HOUSE

Delicia remains unconscious on the ground. The wind moves through the trees.

After a few seconds, Delicia’s fingers twitch.

DELICIA
“Lauren…”

She slowly opens her eyes and looks around.

DELICIA
“Where did he take her?”

Delicia reaches for her phone with trembling hands.

Her phone suddenly lights up.

There is one missed call.

Then another.

Delicia looks at the number — and her expression suddenly changes.

🔐 SCENE SIX — SOMEWHERE UNKNOWN

Dan finally reaches an old, isolated building and carries Lauren inside.

LAUREN
“Dan… what is this place?”

Dan doesn’t answer.

LAUREN
“I’m not staying here.”

Lauren steps away from him and notices something on a nearby table.

LAUREN
“Whatever you think you’re doing… this isn’t love.”

Dan turns his back for a moment.

Lauren notices a set of keys on the table.

She quietly moves toward them.

One step.

Then another.

Her fingers finally reach the keys.

🌑 FINAL SCENE — THE SECRET

Suddenly, a sound comes from outside.

Dan freezes.

Lauren freezes too.

DELICIA
“Lauren!”

Lauren’s eyes widen.

Dan’s face turns pale.

Before anyone can open the door, the lights suddenly go out.

DARKNESS FILLS THE ROOM.

A loud crash comes from the other side of the door.

Lauren grips the keys tightly.

LAUREN
“Delicia…?”

WHO IS STANDING OUTSIDE?

And what secret is Dan hiding?
