Amber Slaps Amanda and Orders Her to Leave

A Dramatic Confrontation at Ernestine’s House

Scene 1 — An Unexpected Encounter

The afternoon begins peacefully at Ernestine’s house. Ernestine is sitting comfortably in the living room, talking with Amanda. The two women appear to be having a serious conversation when suddenly, the front door opens.

Amber walks inside, expecting to spend some time with Ernestine. However, the moment she looks into the living room, she stops in her tracks.

Amanda is sitting there.

Amber’s expression immediately changes. The surprise on her face quickly turns into anger. She looks at Ernestine and then at Amanda, clearly upset by what she has just seen.

AMBER:

“Ernestine, what is she doing here?”

Ernestine notices Amber’s angry expression and immediately realizes that the situation could become tense.

ERNESTINE:

“Amber, calm down. Amanda came to see me. We were just talking.”

Scene 2 — Amber Confronts Amanda

Amber slowly turns toward Amanda. She cannot understand why Amanda would come to Ernestine’s house after everything that has happened between them.

AMBER:

“You came here? Seriously, Amanda? After everything, you thought it was okay to come here?”

Amanda remains calm. She does not seem intimidated by Amber’s anger. Instead, she slowly looks at Amber and responds confidently.

AMANDA:

“Why can’t I be here? I have every right to come here. Ernestine invited me, and I’m not doing anything wrong.”

Amber’s frustration grows. She takes a step closer to Amanda.

AMBER:

“You have every right? Don’t tell me what rights you have. You knew exactly what you were doing when you came here.”

Amanda slowly stands up and refuses to back down.

AMANDA:

“Amber, you don’t control Ernestine’s house. If she wants me here, then I’m staying.”

Ernestine looks between the two women. She can feel the tension filling the entire room.

Scene 3 — The Argument Gets Worse

Ernestine steps forward, hoping to prevent the situation from becoming more serious.

ERNESTINE:

“Ladies, please. I don’t want this turning into an argument.”

Amber shakes her head. She is clearly not ready to let the situation go.

AMBER:

“I’m not looking for an argument. I’m simply telling Amanda that she needs to leave.”

Amanda folds her arms and looks directly at Amber.

AMANDA:

“And what if I don’t?”

The room suddenly becomes silent.

Amber stares at Amanda in disbelief.

AMBER:

“What did you just say?”

Amanda refuses to back down.

AMANDA:

“You heard me. I said, what if I don’t leave? You can’t walk in here and start giving me orders.”

Amber’s patience is running out.

AMBER:

“You really want to challenge me right now?”

AMANDA:

“I’m not afraid of you.”

Scene 4 — Amber Loses Her Temper

Ernestine immediately tries to stand between the two women.

ERNESTINE:

“Amber, please! Let’s talk about this without making things worse.”

But Amber is extremely angry. Amanda’s words have pushed her patience to its limit.

AMBER:

“Ernestine, I came here to spend time with you. I didn’t come here expecting to find Amanda sitting in your house.”

Ernestine looks apologetic.

ERNESTINE:

“I understand, Amber. But this is my home, and I invited her here. I didn’t want anyone fighting.”

Amber looks back at Amanda.

AMBER:

“Then Amanda needs to understand that she is not welcome around me.”

Amanda rolls her eyes.

AMANDA:

“That sounds like your problem, not mine.”

Amber becomes furious.

In a sudden burst of anger, Amber slaps Amanda.

Amanda freezes in shock. She slowly touches her cheek, unable to believe what has just happened.

AMANDA:

“You just slapped me?”

AMBER:

“Yes. Because you refused to listen. You need to leave this house right now.”

Scene 5 — Ernestine Is Caught in the Middle

Ernestine looks shocked by what has happened. She never expected Amber and Amanda to confront each other so aggressively.

ERNESTINE:

“Amber! Why did you do that?”

Amber remains angry but looks toward Ernestine.

AMBER:

“Because I’m tired of Amanda showing up everywhere and creating problems.”

Amanda looks toward Ernestine, hoping she will defend her.

AMANDA:

“Ernestine, are you really going to let her treat me like this?”

Ernestine takes a deep breath.

ERNESTINE:

“Amber should not have slapped you. But Amanda, I also don’t want this situation to get any worse.”

Amanda looks hurt and angry.

AMANDA:

“So you want me to leave?”

Ernestine hesitates before answering.

ERNESTINE:

“I think everyone needs some space right now.”

Scene 6 — Amanda Leaves

Amanda realizes that staying will only make the situation worse. She grabs her belongings and walks toward the door.

Before leaving, she turns around and looks directly at Amber.

AMANDA:

“Fine. I’ll leave. But don’t think this is over.”

Amber crosses her arms.

AMBER:

“I don’t care what you think. Just go.”

Amanda walks out and closes the door behind her.

The room becomes completely silent.

Ernestine slowly turns toward Amber.

ERNESTINE:

“Amber, I understand why you were angry, but you crossed a line when you slapped her.”

Amber looks away, still frustrated.

AMBER:

“Maybe I did. But I’m tired of Amanda showing up everywhere and creating problems.”

ERNESTINE:

“Then you should have confronted her with words. Now she is angry, humiliated, and probably planning what she is going to do next.”

Scene 7 — Amanda Plans Her Next Move

Outside the house, Amanda walks toward her car. Her face shows a mixture of anger, embarrassment, and determination.

She stops for a moment and looks back toward Ernestine’s house.

AMANDA:

“Amber thinks she can humiliate me and get away with it. She has no idea what I’m about to do.”

Amanda takes out her phone and thinks carefully about whom she should call.

Back inside, Amber is still trying to process everything that happened.

AMBER:

“Do you really think Amanda is going to cause more trouble?”

Ernestine looks concerned.

ERNESTINE:

“After what happened today, I wouldn’t be surprised.”

Amber becomes quiet.

For the first time, she realizes that her confrontation with Amanda may have created an even bigger problem.

What Will Amanda Do Next?

Amanda has been humiliated and ordered to leave. She is now determined to respond to Amber’s actions.
