SCENE 1 — YAYA’S HOUSE — LATE AFTERNOON

The house is quiet when a sudden knock echoes through the front door. Yaya looks toward the entrance, confused by the unexpected visitor. She slowly walks toward the door and opens it.

Lauren is standing outside. Her expression is serious, and she clearly did not come for a friendly conversation.

YAYA
Lauren? What are you doing here?

LAUREN
I came here to talk to Wayne.

Yaya immediately steps in front of the doorway, making it clear that Lauren is not welcome inside.

YAYA
Then you can talk to him somewhere else. You’re not coming into my house acting like this.

LAUREN
I’m not here to argue with you, Yaya. I need answers from Wayne.

YAYA
Whatever you need to say to Wayne, you can say it from right there.

SCENE 2 — THE CONFRONTATION

Lauren refuses to back down. She looks past Yaya toward the inside of the house, determined to find Wayne.

LAUREN
Where is he?

YAYA
Why does that matter to you?

LAUREN
Because I deserve an explanation.

Yaya folds her arms. Her patience is quickly disappearing.

YAYA
You came to my house looking for a confrontation. Don’t expect me to welcome you in.

LAUREN
I’m not scared of you.

Yaya stares at Lauren. The tension between them becomes impossible to ignore.

YAYA
Watch what you say to me.

LAUREN
Why? Because you’re angry?

Yaya takes a deep breath, trying to control her emotions.

YAYA
I’m giving you one last chance to walk away.

LAUREN
I’m not going anywhere.

SCENE 3 — WAYNE HEARS THE ARGUMENT

Inside the house, Wayne suddenly hears the raised voices. He quickly walks toward the front door and sees Lauren standing outside.

WAYNE
Yaya? What’s going on?

LAUREN
Wayne, I came here because I need to talk to you.

WAYNE
Okay, everybody calm down.

YAYA
She came here looking for you and started disrespecting me in my own house.

LAUREN
That’s not what happened!

Wayne looks between the two women, realizing that the situation could get much worse.

WAYNE
Both of you, please.

YAYA
No, Wayne. I’m done being patient.

WAYNE
Yaya, listen to me. Just calm down.

YAYA
I am calm. I’m telling her to leave.

🔥 THE EXPLOSIVE MOMENT 🔥

Lauren refuses to move. Yaya’s anger reaches its limit. She steps toward Lauren and forces her away from the entrance, sending her outside the main doorway.

YAYA
I told you to get out of my house!

WAYNE
Yaya! Stop!

Wayne quickly tries to stop Yaya, but she refuses to calm down. She is still furious about Lauren coming to her home and confronting her.

YAYA
Don’t stop me, Wayne! She came here looking for trouble!

LAUREN
Wayne, are you really going to let her treat me like this?

WAYNE
Lauren, just go for now.

Lauren looks completely shocked. She slowly steps away from the doorway, but her expression makes it clear that she is not finished with the situation.

SCENE 4 — AFTERMATH

Wayne closes the front door and turns toward Yaya. She is still visibly angry, breathing heavily after the confrontation.

WAYNE
Yaya, you have to calm down.

YAYA
No, Wayne. She crossed the line.

WAYNE
I understand why you’re upset, but putting your hands on her wasn’t the answer.

YAYA
Then what was I supposed to do? Let her walk into our house and disrespect me?

WAYNE
No. But you could have let me handle it.

Yaya looks away, still frustrated.

YAYA
I’m tired of people thinking they can come into my life whenever they want and cause problems.

WAYNE
I’m not against you.

YAYA
Then don’t tell me to calm down when someone is disrespecting me.

SCENE 5 — LAUREN’S REACTION

Outside the house, Lauren stops near the driveway and looks back at the front door. She cannot believe what just happened.

LAUREN
She really just kicked me out…

Lauren takes a deep breath, trying to control her anger.

LAUREN
This is definitely not over.

She walks away from the house, but the anger in her expression remains.

SCENE 6 — PROTECTING THEIR PEACE

Back inside, Yaya stands near the living room while Wayne watches her carefully. The confrontation has completely changed the mood of the house.

WAYNE
I just want peace between everybody.

YAYA
Then protect our peace.

Wayne becomes silent. He knows Yaya is still upset, but he also understands why she feels protective of her home and relationship.

WAYNE
I hear you.

Yaya walks away, leaving Wayne standing quietly in the room.

THE DRAMA ISN’T OVER…

Lauren may have left the house, but the confrontation has only created more questions. Yaya made it clear that she will not tolerate anyone disrespecting her home, while Wayne is caught between trying to protect his relationship and keeping the situation from becoming even bigger.

Outside, Lauren walks away with anger in her heart, already thinking about what she will do next.
