Brooke Confronts Isaiah

Brooke Confronts Isaiah After Discovering His Betrayal

Brooke Arrives at Isaiah’s House

Brooke had spent the entire day trying to convince herself that the rumors about Isaiah were not true. She had heard enough from other people to make her suspicious, but part of her still hoped there was an explanation. Isaiah was the person she trusted most, and accepting that he had betrayed her felt almost impossible.

By the time Brooke arrived at Isaiah’s house, her patience had disappeared.

She stepped out of her car and walked quickly toward the front door. Before she could knock, Isaiah’s mother opened it.

“Brooke, what are you doing here?” she asked, surprised.
“I need to talk to Isaiah,” Brooke replied.
“Brooke, I really think you should calm down and go home.”
“No. I’m not going anywhere until I talk to him.”

Isaiah’s Mother Tries to Calm Brooke

Isaiah’s mother sighed and tried to reason with Brooke.

“Whatever you heard, you need to understand that people make mistakes. You two are young. Sometimes the best thing you can do is walk away.”

Brooke shook her head. She was not interested in leaving without hearing the truth directly from Isaiah.

“I’m not here to argue with you. I just want Isaiah to come outside and tell me the truth himself.”

His mother looked at her for a moment before stepping aside.

“Isaiah!”

Brooke Faces Isaiah

A few seconds later, Isaiah walked into the hallway. The moment he saw Brooke standing there, his expression changed.

“Brooke?”
“You knew I was going to find out eventually, didn’t you?”

Isaiah remained silent. Brooke stared at him, waiting for an answer.

“So it’s true,” she said quietly. “You really cheated on me.”
“Brooke, let me explain.”
“Explain what?”
“It wasn’t supposed to happen.”

Brooke could hardly believe what she was hearing.

“That’s your explanation? You cheated, but it wasn’t supposed to happen?”
“Brooke, please. I know I messed up.”
“You didn’t just mess up. You betrayed me.”

Isaiah Admits the Truth

Isaiah tried to step closer, but Brooke moved back.

“Don’t come near me.”
“Brooke, please. I know I hurt you.”
“Sorry doesn’t change what you did.”

His mother stepped into the conversation and tried to convince Brooke to leave.

“Brooke, maybe you should just go home and think about everything before making this worse.”
“With all due respect, I’ve already thought about it. I’m not leaving until I know exactly what happened.”

Isaiah finally admitted the truth.

“Yes, I was with someone else.”
“So all those times I trusted you, you were lying to me?”
“I never wanted to hurt you.”
“But you did.”

Brooke Calls the Police

The room became silent. Brooke pulled out her phone and decided that she was not going to let the situation turn into an argument.

“What are you doing?” Isaiah asked.
“I’m calling the police.”
“Brooke, there is no reason to do that,” Isaiah’s mother said.
“I’m not going to fight him, and I’m not going to cause a scene. I just want this situation handled properly.”

Isaiah looked nervous as Brooke made the call.

“Brooke, please don’t do this.”
“You should have thought about that before you betrayed me.”

The Police Arrive

Brooke explained the situation to the authorities and remained outside while waiting. She refused to argue with Isaiah any further.

A short time later, officers arrived at the house and began speaking with everyone involved.

“This is a misunderstanding,” Isaiah’s mother explained. “They’re just having relationship problems.”

Brooke calmly explained what had happened and why she had contacted the police. Isaiah was questioned about the situation, and after speaking with everyone involved, the officers decided to take him into custody.

Isaiah Is Taken Away

As Isaiah was escorted away, he looked back at Brooke.

“Brooke, I’m sorry.”

Brooke stood silently for a moment before answering.

“I wanted you to be honest with me. That was all I ever asked.”

Isaiah lowered his head as the officers led him away.

Brooke Chooses Herself

His mother looked at Brooke afterward.

“You really think this is the best way to handle things?”
“No. I wish none of this had ever happened. But I’m done protecting someone who didn’t protect my trust.”

Brooke turned toward her car. For the first time since discovering the betrayal, she felt like she could finally breathe.

She had spent so much time trying to save her relationship with Isaiah that she had forgotten something important: she deserved honesty and respect too.

As she drove away, Brooke knew the situation had changed everything. She could not undo what Isaiah had done, but she could decide what happened next. And this time, she chose herself.
