SCENE 1 — THE UNEXPECTED SURPRISE
The office parking lot is unusually quiet that morning.
Dinisha walks toward the entrance, holding her phone and a small handbag. She looks tired, completely unaware that everyone around her is about to witness a moment they will never forget.
Then she stops.
A brand-new white luxury SUV is parked directly in front of the office, covered with a giant red ribbon.
Dinisha stares at it in confusion.
Suddenly, Wayne walks out from behind the vehicle.
He is holding a car key in one hand.
WAYNE
“Good morning, Dinisha.”
She looks from Wayne to the car, then back at him.
DINISHA
“Wayne… what is this?”
Wayne smiles.
WAYNE
“It’s for you.”
Dinisha freezes.
For a few seconds, she cannot even speak.
SCENE 2 — THE GIFT
Wayne walks toward Dinisha and lowers his head respectfully as he places the key in her hand.
Then he turns toward the SUV and gestures proudly.
WAYNE
“You’re always worried about getting to work, getting home, running errands… so I decided that was enough.”
Dinisha looks at the key.
Her hands begin to shake.
DINISHA
“You bought me a car?”
WAYNE
“Not just any car.”
He points toward the white SUV.
WAYNE
“This one is yours. For work. For your everyday life. You deserve something that makes things easier.”
Dinisha covers her mouth.
Her eyes fill with tears.
DINISHA
“I honestly don’t know what to say.”
WAYNE
“You don’t have to say anything.”
Dinisha looks at the SUV again.
She is overwhelmed.
But behind them, four women standing near the office entrance have seen everything.
SCENE 3 — THE SHOCK
The four women stare at the vehicle.
Their mouths are open.
Their expressions slowly change from surprise to disbelief.
Then disbelief becomes anger.
WOMAN #1
“Are you serious right now?”
WOMAN #2
“He actually bought her a car?”
The third woman looks at Dinisha with an irritated expression.
WOMAN #3
“For coming to work?”
She gives a sarcastic laugh.
WOMAN #3
“You’ve got to be kidding me.”
The fourth woman says nothing.
She simply stares at Wayne and Dinisha.
Her face is visibly red with jealousy.
WOMAN #4
“So this is what he was planning?”
The women exchange angry looks.
None of them can believe what they are witnessing.
SCENE 4 — JEALOUSY TAKES OVER
Dinisha slowly walks toward the car.
She runs her hand across the hood.
The huge red bow sits proudly on top.
DINISHA
“Wayne… this is too much.”
WAYNE
“I wanted you to have something that reminds you that somebody believes in you.”
Dinisha smiles through her tears.
But the women behind them become even more furious.
WOMAN #1
“He never did anything like that for us.”
WOMAN #2
“Exactly.”
WOMAN #3
“And look at her face. She’s acting like she won the lottery.”
The fourth woman suddenly steps forward.
WOMAN #4
“Maybe she knew about this all along.”
Everyone becomes silent.
Dinisha turns around.
DINISHA
“What are you talking about?”
WOMAN #4
“You heard me.”
Wayne immediately steps between them.
WAYNE
“Enough.”
The women stop.
WAYNE
“This has nothing to do with anyone else.”
Dinisha looks at Wayne, surprised by how firmly he defended her.
SCENE 5 — THE QUESTIONS BEGIN
The office employees begin gathering near the entrance.
Everyone is whispering.
Phones come out.
People start recording.
DINISHA
“Wayne, maybe we should go inside.”
Wayne shakes his head.
WAYNE
“No.”
He looks at the crowd.
WAYNE
“Let everyone see.”
Dinisha looks confused.
DINISHA
“See what?”
Wayne reaches into his pocket.
He pulls out another small envelope.
Dinisha notices it.
DINISHA
“What’s that?”
Wayne looks at her.
For the first time, his expression becomes serious.
WAYNE
“There’s something else I need to give you.”
The four women immediately stop talking.
Their eyes move toward the envelope.
SCENE 6 — THE MYSTERY ENVELOPE
Wayne hands the envelope to Dinisha.
She slowly opens it.
Inside is a folded document.
Dinisha looks at it.
Her face changes instantly.
DINISHA
“Wayne…”
She looks up at him.
DINISHA
“What is this?”
Wayne does not answer.
The women begin whispering again.
WOMAN #2
“What did he give her?”
WOMAN #1
“I don’t know.”
Dinisha unfolds the paper completely.
Her eyes scan the first few lines.
Then she looks at Wayne in disbelief.
DINISHA
“You planned all of this?”
Wayne gives a small smile.
WAYNE
“I told you this car was only the beginning.”
Everyone goes silent.
Dinisha looks back at the document.
The women watch her carefully.
One of them takes a step closer.
WOMAN #4
“What does it say?”
Dinisha doesn’t respond.
Her eyes fill with tears again.
Wayne looks toward the office building.
Then back at Dinisha.
WAYNE
“Tomorrow morning, you won’t be coming to this office as an employee.”
Dinisha slowly raises her head.
DINISHA
“Then… who will I be?”
Wayne smiles mysteriously.
The four women stare at each other, suddenly terrified that the surprise may be much bigger than a car.
Dinisha looks down at the document one more time.
“Oh my God…”
The camera slowly moves toward the paper in her hands.
But before anyone can see what is written on it—Wayne folds it shut.
WAYNE
“Tomorrow, everyone will know.”
The women remain frozen.
Dinisha looks at Wayne, completely stunned.
