Amber’s Divorce Decision

Amber’s Divorce Decision Puts Anthony’s Future at Risk

Amber sat quietly as she explained her decision to Dave. She had already made up her mind that she wanted the divorce with Anthony finalized as quickly as possible, even if it meant accepting less than fifty percent of the settlement.

“I’m willing to take less than fifty percent,” Amber told Dave. “I just want this divorce to be over. I want to move forward with my life and finally have some peace.”

Dave stared at her in disbelief.

“Wait. You’re seriously willing to walk away from that much money just to get the divorce finished?”

Amber nodded.

“Yes. I’m tired of everything surrounding this marriage. I don’t want to keep fighting, arguing, or waiting. I just want to close this chapter of my life.”

Dave leaned back and looked at her carefully.

“But Amber, why would you give up such a huge part of what you may be entitled to? You’re talking about walking away from money that could make a major difference in your future.”

Amber sighed.

“Because money isn’t everything, Dave. My peace matters more to me right now. I want to completely move on from Anthony. I don’t want this divorce controlling my life anymore.”

Dave understood what she was saying, but he still wasn’t convinced.

“I understand wanting peace,” he replied. “But you have to be careful. When emotions are involved, people sometimes make decisions they regret later. You shouldn’t give up something important just because you’re exhausted with the situation.”

Amber looked down for a moment.

“So what are you saying? That I should fight for more?”

“I’m saying you shouldn’t make a decision simply because you want everything to end quickly,” Dave answered. “Think about your future too. You need to make sure you’re not giving up something you may never be able to get back.”

Amber Starts Questioning Her Decision

Those words stayed in Amber’s mind.

Until that moment, she had been focused on escaping the divorce. She had convinced herself that accepting less than fifty percent was worth it if it meant getting her freedom. But Dave’s warning made her look at the situation differently.

If she was willing to accept less than fifty percent, then why should she stop there?

Why should she walk away from what she might actually be entitled to?

For the first time, a different thought entered Amber’s mind.

Maybe she shouldn’t settle for fifty percent.

Maybe she should fight for everything she believed was rightfully hers.

Anthony Talks to D’Nisha

Meanwhile, Anthony was having a completely different conversation with D’Nisha.

Anthony admitted that he was exhausted by the divorce and desperately wanted it to be finished.

“I’m just ready for this divorce to be over,” Anthony said. “I’m ready to move forward. I want to build my life again. I want to focus on my future and eventually build my family.”

D’Nisha listened carefully before responding.

“I understand that you’re ready to move on,” she said. “But you can’t let your emotions make decisions for you.”

Anthony looked at her.

“What do you mean?”

“I mean you have to stand on business,” D’Nisha explained. “You’ve built your life by making smart decisions. You’ve made difficult choices in business, and you know how to protect what you’ve worked for. You need to bring that same mindset into this situation.”

Anthony nodded slowly.

“I just don’t want this divorce to keep controlling my life.”

“And it won’t,” D’Nisha replied. “But you have to handle it properly. Don’t make an irrational decision just because you’re tired of waiting. Don’t let everything happening between you and Amber become the reason you make a choice you’ll regret later.”

Anthony took a deep breath.

“So you think I should slow down?”

“I think you should think clearly,” D’Nisha answered. “There’s a difference. You can want the divorce to end while still protecting your future.”

The Divorce Battle Could Get Bigger

Anthony knew she had a point.

He wanted to move forward. He wanted to focus on his business, his family, and the life he believed was waiting for him after the divorce. But if the settlement became more complicated, everything could change.

And on the other side of the situation, Amber was already reconsidering her original decision.

Dave’s words had planted a seed in her mind.

She had initially told him that she would accept less than fifty percent just to get away from Anthony and finally find peace. But now she was beginning to wonder whether walking away from so much was actually the right choice.

Perhaps peace and protecting her future did not have to be separate things.

Perhaps she could move on while still demanding what she believed she deserved.

The biggest question was no longer whether Amber would accept less than fifty percent.

The question was whether she would change her mind completely.

If Amber decided to fight for her full settlement, Anthony could suddenly find himself facing a much bigger battle. His plans to move forward, grow his business, and build a new family could all be affected by the outcome of the divorce.

Anthony believed the end was finally within reach.

Amber might be preparing to make sure it wasn’t.

The Big Question

Will Amber stay with her original plan and accept fifty percent or even less just to end the divorce quickly? Or will Dave’s advice convince her to fight for her full share?

And if Amber chooses to fight for everything, how will Anthony respond?

The divorce may be closer to a final decision than ever before, but the real battle could only be beginning.
