The bedroom is quiet. Wayne and Yaya are sleeping peacefully, unaware that their morning is about to take a dramatic turn.

Honey Pot enters the house and walks toward the bedroom. When she sees Wayne and Yaya together, she stops at the doorway. A knowing smile appears on her face.

HONEY POT:

“So, Wayne thinks he can keep everything hidden forever? He has no idea what I know.”

Honey Pot takes out her phone and quietly steps away. An idea begins to form in her mind. She believes that revealing Wayne’s secrets to Yaya could change their relationship completely.

INT. LIVING ROOM — MOMENTS LATER

Honey Pot sits on the sofa and opens a folder on her phone. It contains messages and information that she believes could raise serious questions about Wayne.

HONEY POT:

“Wayne believes he has everything under control. But one conversation could change everything.”

She considers how to approach Yaya. Honey Pot knows that Yaya may defend Wayne if she simply makes accusations. She decides to offer the information and let Yaya make her own judgment.

Footsteps interrupt her thoughts. Wayne appears in the hallway, surprised to find her there.

WAYNE:

“Honey Pot? What are you doing here so early? You could have called first.”

HONEY POT:

“I wanted to see you. Is that a problem?”

WAYNE:

“What exactly are you talking about?”

HONEY POT:

“Nothing you need to worry about. Not yet.”

Wayne studies her face, sensing that she has come with a purpose.

Yaya wakes up and hears voices coming from the living room. She walks in and finds Honey Pot sitting across from Wayne.

YAYA:

“Honey Pot? I wasn’t expecting you to visit us.”

HONEY POT:

“Sometimes, the truth arrives when people least expect it.”

Wayne immediately becomes irritated.

WAYNE:

“If you came here to start drama, this isn’t the time.”

YAYA:

“What does that mean? Why are you both acting strangely?”

HONEY POT:

“Yaya, I need to speak with you privately. There are things you should know.”

WAYNE:

“Whatever you have to say, say it right here.”

HONEY POT:

“Why are you so worried, Wayne? Unless there’s something you don’t want her to hear.”

Yaya looks at Wayne, waiting for an explanation. His reaction only makes her more curious.

SCENE 4: A WARNING FOR YAYA

INT. LIVING ROOM — LATER

Wayne steps away to answer a phone call. Honey Pot turns toward Yaya and lowers her voice.

HONEY POT:

“I’m not asking you to believe everything I say. But you deserve the chance to see what I’ve discovered.”

YAYA:

“If you have a problem with Wayne, talk to him. Don’t try to ruin my relationship.”

HONEY POT:

“I understand why you’re defending him. That’s why I brought information instead of expecting you to trust my words.”

Honey Pot reaches for her phone but does not reveal the evidence yet.

YAYA:

“What kind of evidence?”

HONEY POT:

“Information that could make you question whether Wayne has been telling you the whole truth.”

Wayne returns and notices their serious expressions.

WAYNE:

“What are you two whispering about?”

YAYA:

“Honey Pot says she has something to tell me about you.”

Wayne’s face tightens. Honey Pot puts her phone away and stands.

HONEY POT:

“When you’re ready to see what I have, call me. I’ll let you decide for yourself.”

She leaves, but the doubt she has planted remains in the room.

INT. LIVING ROOM — AFTER HONEY POT LEAVES

Wayne walks across the room, visibly frustrated. Yaya watches him, waiting for a clear answer.

YAYA:

“If Honey Pot is lying, why are you so afraid of letting me see what she has?”

WAYNE:

“Because she’s trying to manipulate you. She wants to come between us.”

YAYA:

“You keep saying that, but you haven’t explained what she’s talking about.”

Wayne stops walking and faces her.

WAYNE:

“Yaya, you have to trust me.”

YAYA:

“Trust goes both ways, Wayne. Give me a reason not to believe her.”

Wayne falls silent. Yaya turns and walks toward the bedroom, leaving him alone with his thoughts.

He takes out his phone and stares at Honey Pot’s name.

WAYNE:

“What exactly does she have?”

INT. HONEY POT’S CAR — SAME TIME

Honey Pot sits in her parked car, reviewing the information on her phone. Her confidence grows as she thinks about Yaya’s reaction.

HONEY POT:

“Wayne, you should have been more careful. Now Yaya is asking questions, and she hasn’t even seen everything.”

She sends Yaya a message.

“I’m serious about what I told you. When you’re ready, I’ll show you the evidence. You deserve to make your own decision.”

Honey Pot puts her phone down and looks out the window. She knows Yaya may hesitate, but she hopes curiosity will bring her back.

For Honey Pot, the first step of her plan is complete. The real test will come when Yaya sees the information for herself.

Yaya sits on the edge of the bed, thinking about the morning’s confrontation. Her phone vibrates with a new message from Honey Pot.

Wayne enters and notices her looking at the screen.

WAYNE:

“Are you still thinking about what Honey Pot said?”

YAYA:

“I’m thinking about why you haven’t given me a straight answer.”

WAYNE:

“She’s trying to cause problems between us.”

YAYA:

“Then you shouldn’t have anything to worry about.”

Wayne sits beside her, but Yaya moves slightly away. He notices the distance between them and realizes that her doubts are growing.

WAYNE:

“Are you seriously going to let her come between us?”

YAYA:

“I’m not choosing sides. I just want to know the truth.”

Yaya looks at her phone again. She has not decided whether to meet Honey Pot, but she is beginning to wonder what the evidence might reveal.

Across town, Honey Pot waits for Yaya’s call. Wayne watches Yaya in silence, unsure whether his explanations will be enough to save their relationship.
