BETHANY’S JEALOUSY AND MR. BERGER’S CONFRONTATION
SCENE 1 — OUTSIDE THE HOUSE — DAY
Larry and Sharra step outside the house. Both are dressed and ready to go somewhere. They look relaxed, as if they already have plans for the day.
Across the street, Bethany suddenly notices them.
She immediately stops and watches them.
Her eyes remain fixed on Larry and Sharra as they get into the car together.
BETHANY
“Seriously? Larry and Sharra?”
Bethany watches them drive away. The surprise on her face slowly turns into jealousy.
BETHANY
“So if he’s not doing something with me, then who is he doing it with?”
She crosses her arms, clearly becoming more irritated.
BETHANY
“It has to be Sharra… or maybe Lynette.”
Bethany pulls out her phone and starts recording Larry and Sharra as they drive away together.
Her jealousy quickly turns into anger.
BETHANY
“Let’s see how these two explain this.”
She watches the video again, then sends it straight to her father.
SCENE 2 — MR. BERGER GETS THE VIDEO
A few moments later, Bethany’s father, Mr. Berger, receives the video on his phone.
He watches it carefully, his expression becoming more serious with every second.
MR. BERGER
“What exactly is going on here?”
He looks at the screen again, then immediately decides that he needs answers.
Meanwhile, Bethany waits anxiously, wondering what her father will do next.
