📍 Scene 1 – Atlanta Airport
The aircraft slowly touched down on the runway at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Outside the window, the city lights stretched into the distance, welcoming thousands of travelers home.
Passengers happily gathered their belongings. Families smiled. Friends hugged each other. Excited children ran toward waiting relatives.
But among all those joyful reunions, one person stood completely alone.
*(Quietly)*
“I’m finally home…”
Bethany slowly walked through the airport terminal, pulling her small suitcase behind her. Her eyes searched every corner of the arrival area.
She expected Larry to be waiting for her.
Every second she looked around with hope.
But Larry wasn’t there.
She stopped walking.
Her hopeful smile slowly disappeared.
📞 Scene 2 – The First Call
“Maybe he’s running late…”
She reached into her pocket, took out her phone, and immediately dialed Larry’s number.
The phone rang…

Two rings…
Three rings…
No answer.
Bethany stared silently at her phone.
“Come on, Larry… please answer.”
She tried again.
The phone continued ringing.
Still…
No answer.
⚠ Scene 3 – Worry Begins
Bethany walked toward the airport exit while watching people reunite with their loved ones.
Everyone had someone waiting.
Except her.
She looked around one more time.
No Larry.
Her heartbeat became faster.
“Where are you?”
She pressed the redial button again.
Again…

Again…
Each unanswered call filled her with more anxiety.
🚗 Scene 4 – Larry’s Garage
Miles away…
Larry stood inside his garage beside his car.
His phone vibrated continuously inside his hand.
Bethany’s name appeared on the screen again and again.
He looked at it without saying a single word.
*(Silent…)*
He watched the phone ring.
He never answered.
Another call came.
Then another.
Then another.
Finally…
Larry pressed and held the power button.
The screen slowly faded to black.
His phone was completely switched off.
💔 Scene 5 – A Painful Realization
Back at the airport…
Bethany smiled slightly as she dialed again.
She believed this time Larry would answer.
Instead…
An automated voice spoke.
“The person you are trying to reach is unavailable.”
Bethany froze.
She looked down at her phone.
Her eyes filled with confusion.
“He turned off his phone?”
She called again.
Same message.
Again.
Again.
Nothing changed.
😢 Scene 6 – Standing Alone
Bethany slowly sat on a nearby bench.
She tightly held her phone.
Her suitcase stood beside her.
She watched families leave together while she remained completely alone.
The airport suddenly felt colder than before.
“Why would you ignore me, Larry?”
She checked her phone again.
No missed calls.
No text messages.
No explanation.
Only silence.
🔥 Scene 7 – Bethany Makes a Decision
Bethany wiped away her tears.
She slowly stood up.
Her expression changed from sadness to determination.
“If you won’t answer my calls…
I’ll come find you myself.”
She grabbed the handle of her suitcase.
Without looking back, Bethany walked toward the taxi stand.
She had no idea what was waiting for her in Atlanta.
The truth would be far more painful than she could ever imagine.
