Anthony Confronts Iman After Shayla Reveals His Cheating!

SCENE 1 — SHAYLA NEEDS HELP
The evening is quiet. Shayla sits alone in her room, tears streaming down her face. She looks emotionally exhausted and heartbroken. Her hands tremble as she picks up her phone and calls Anthony.
After a few rings, Anthony answers.
ANTHONY
“Shayla? What’s going on? You sound upset.”
Shayla struggles to speak through her tears.
SHAYLA
“Anthony, I really need you. Please come over. I don’t know what else to do.”
Anthony immediately becomes concerned.
ANTHONY
“I’m coming. Just stay there. I’ll be there soon.”
Shayla ends the call and puts her phone down. She wipes her tears, but the crying continues. She knows that when Anthony arrives, she will finally have someone to talk to.
SCENE 2 — ANTHONY ARRIVES
A short while later, Anthony arrives at Shayla’s house. He walks through the door and immediately notices Shayla sitting on the couch, crying.
Anthony stops for a moment. He has never seen Shayla this emotional.
He walks toward her and sits beside her.
ANTHONY
“Shayla, what happened? Why are you crying like this?”
Shayla looks at him but struggles to answer.
Anthony gently waits.
ANTHONY
“Take a breath. Just tell me what happened. What did he do to you?”
Shayla finally breaks down.
SHAYLA
“Iman has been cheating on me.”
Anthony’s expression immediately changes.
ANTHONY
“What?”
Shayla wipes her tears.
SHAYLA
“He has been cheating on me, Anthony. And the worst part is that he already knows I’m going to have his baby.”
ANTHONY
“Iman knows you’re pregnant?”
Shayla nods.
SHAYLA
“Yes. He knows everything. He knows I’m carrying his child, but he still decided to leave me.”

SCENE 3 — SHAYLA REVEALS THE TRUTH

“I thought Iman was going to stay with me. I thought he would be there for me during the pregnancy. I believed he cared about me and our baby.”

“But I found out he was cheating. And when I confronted him, he didn’t even seem sorry.”

“How could he do that when he knows you’re carrying his baby?”

“I kept asking him why he was doing this to me. I told him that I needed him. I reminded him that we were about to become parents. But he still walked away.”

ANTHONY
“That’s not right, Shayla.”
Shayla looks at him through her tears.

“I don’t understand what I did wrong.”
ANTHONY
“This isn’t about what you did wrong. Iman made his own choices.”
SCENE 4 — ANTHONY MAKES A DECISION
Anthony stands up. His expression is serious.
ANTHONY
“Come with me.”
Shayla looks confused.
SHAYLA
“Where?”
ANTHONY
“We’re going to talk to Iman.”
Shayla hesitates.
SHAYLA
“Anthony, please don’t make things worse.”
ANTHONY
“I’m not going there to make things worse. I just want him to understand what he has done.”
Shayla slowly stands. She wipes her face and follows Anthony.
The two leave the house together.
SCENE 5 — ARRIVING AT IMAN’S HOUSE
Anthony and Shayla arrive at Iman’s house.
Anthony gets out of the car first. Shayla follows behind him, looking nervous.
Anthony walks toward the front door and knocks.
After a few seconds, Iman opens the door. He looks surprised to see Anthony and Shayla standing together.
IMAN
“What are you two doing here?”
Anthony steps forward. His face is filled with anger.
ANTHONY
“We came here because you need to answer some questions.”
Iman looks toward Shayla and notices that she has been crying.
IMAN
“Shayla, what happened?”
Anthony interrupts.
ANTHONY
“You know exactly what happened.”
SCENE 6 — ANTHONY CONFRONTS IMAN
Anthony points toward Shayla.
ANTHONY
“She told me everything.”
Iman looks at Shayla.
IMAN
“You told him?”
Shayla looks down.
SHAYLA
“Yes. I needed someone to talk to.”
Anthony steps closer.
ANTHONY
“You are the father of Shayla’s baby. You know she is pregnant with your child, and you still cheated on her.”
Iman becomes defensive.
IMAN
“Anthony, this is between me and Shayla.”
Anthony shakes his head.
ANTHONY
“No. You made it everyone’s problem when you hurt her and abandoned her while she is carrying your baby.”
Shayla begins crying again.
SHAYLA
“Iman, I just wanted you to be honest with me.”
IMAN
“I didn’t know what else to do.”
SHAYLA
“You could have told me the truth.”
SCENE 7 — THE ARGUMENT ESCALATES
Anthony loses his patience.
ANTHONY
“You should be standing beside her right now instead of making excuses.”
Iman raises his voice.
IMAN
“You don’t know everything that happened between us!”
Anthony steps forward.
ANTHONY
“I know enough.”
The argument becomes heated. Shayla stands between them, frightened by how quickly the situation is escalating.
SHAYLA
“Please! Both of you, stop!”
But Anthony is still furious.
ANTHONY
“You need to take responsibility for what you did!”
Iman responds angrily.
IMAN
“I’ll handle my relationship with Shayla myself.”
The confrontation reaches a breaking point as Anthony moves toward Iman and attempts to punch him. Shayla immediately steps in and tells Anthony to stop.

Shayla looks at Iman with tears in her eyes.

Iman remains silent.
Shayla places her hand over her stomach.

“I’m carrying your baby. I thought that meant something to you.”

IMAN

Shayla shakes her head.

She wipes her tears.

“And now I have to think about raising our child while wondering if I can trust you.”
SCENE 9 — AN UNEXPECTED ENDING
Shayla turns toward the door. She is still crying, but she looks stronger than before.
Anthony walks beside her.
Before leaving, Shayla looks back at Iman.
SHAYLA
“I hope one day you understand how much pain you caused me.”
She turns away.
Anthony follows her outside.
Outside, Shayla takes a deep breath.
ANTHONY
“You don’t have to face this alone.”
Shayla looks at Anthony.
SHAYLA
“Thank you for coming when I needed someone.”
Anthony nods.
ANTHONY
“You called me because you needed help. I wasn’t going to ignore you.”
Shayla wipes the final tears from her face.
