SCENE 1 — THE MORNING AFTER

INT. CRUISE SHIP — OUTSIDE JADE’S ROOM — MORNING

Bethany walks down the hallway, unable to forget the strange noises she heard coming from Jade and Purnell’s room. Determined to discover the truth, she knocks on Jade’s door.

Tell me, Jade, how was your night? I heard noises coming from your room. How long have you known Purnell, and how many nights have you spent with him?

What happened last night? Why are you asking me all these questions?

Bethany folds her arms, refusing to leave without an answer.

SCENE 2 — JADE REVEALS THE TRUTH

INT. JADE’S ROOM — CONTINUOUS

Jade finally decides to tell Bethany what happened. Her confession leaves Bethany completely stunned.

I sell my services for money. Purnell paid me, and that’s why I was there.

Are you seriously telling me that Purnell paid you? I cannot believe what I’m hearing!

Bethany turns toward the door, already thinking about what she is going to tell Larry.

SCENE 3 — BETHANY CONNECTS THE DOTS

INT. CRUISE SHIP — HALLWAY — MOMENTS LATER

Bethany rushes toward Larry’s room. She feels rejected, frustrated, and furious about what she has just discovered.

Larry! Open the door. We need to talk, and you need to listen to me this time!

Bethany, what is it now? What happened?

Bethany enters the room, ready to reveal Jade’s shocking confession.

SCENE 4 — THE CONFRONTATION BEGINS

INT. LARRY’S ROOM — CONTINUOUS

I just spoke to Jade. She told me that Purnell paid her for her services. If he can do that, why do you keep rejecting me?

Whatever Purnell chooses to do is between him and Jade. Why are you bringing their business into our relationship?

Because I have feelings too, Larry! I’m your wife, and I’m tired of feeling unwanted!

Larry turns away, unwilling to let the argument continue.

SCENE 5 — BETHANY MAKES HER DEMAND

The tension rises as Bethany demands that Larry acknowledge how unhappy she has become.

I want you to stop making me feel unwanted. I want you to show me that this marriage still means something to you.

I cannot fix our entire marriage because you came in here angry about Purnell.

Maybe I’ve been wasting my time trying to get through to you!

Her sadness turns into anger, and she prepares to make a threat that will change everything.

SCENE 6 — THE DANGEROUS ULTIMATUM

Bethany looks directly at Larry, determined to make him understand the depth of her frustration.

If you refuse to satisfy my desires, I’ll find someone else. I’ll bring another man here and pay him!

You would actually threaten to bring another man into our marriage just to get a reaction out of me?

Maybe then you’ll understand how it feels when someone ignores your feelings!

Larry struggles to control his anger as the argument reaches its breaking point.

SCENE 7 — LARRY LOSES HIS TEMPER

INT. LARRY’S ROOM — MOMENTS LATER

Have you completely lost your mind? You think threatening me is going to fix anything?

I’m tired of being ignored! Someone else might finally appreciate me!

In the heat of the argument, Larry suddenly slaps Bethany. The room falls silent. Bethany stares at him in shock.

Larry… did you really just do that?

Bethany, this argument has gotten completely out of control.

Bethany backs away, realizing that their relationship has reached a dangerous turning point.

SCENE 8 — THE MYSTERIOUS PHONE CALL

Bethany reaches for her phone and scrolls through her contacts. Larry watches her suspiciously.

Who are you calling, Bethany?

Someone who might be able to help me.

She makes the call. After a few rings, someone answers. Bethany lowers her voice.

It’s me. I need to talk to you. Come here as soon as possible.

Larry watches her end the call. Before he can ask another question, someone knocks loudly at the door.

Who is it?

A familiar voice answers from the other side. Larry suddenly recognizes it, and his face turns pale.

Bethany? I’m here. Are you ready to tell Larry the truth?

Bethany reaches for the door handle. Larry takes a step backward, realizing that a secret from his past may finally be exposed.
