THE TRUTH ISAIAH WAS NEVER READY TO HEAR

A secret. A warning. And one decision that changes everything.

HOOK

One question was about to expose a secret Brooke had tried desperately to hide— and the person standing behind her knew exactly what Isaiah must never discover.

SCENE 1 — BROOKE’S HOUSE

The room is quiet.

Brooke stands near the doorway, tense and nervous. Isaiah walks toward her, watching her carefully. Cameron stands silently behind them.

ISAIAH
Tell me something. Who told you about Mary and Mariah?

BROOKE
I’m not telling you.

ISAIAH
Why not?

Brooke looks away.

BROOKE
Because I don’t want to.

ISAIAH
If someone told you something about them, I have the right to know.

BROOKE
No. I decide what I tell you.

SCENE 2 — THE PRESSURE BUILDS

Isaiah slowly moves closer.

ISAIAH
You keep saying you love me. So prove it. Tell me who told you.

Brooke looks toward Cameron.

Cameron immediately shakes his head.

His silent warning is clear: DON’T TELL HIM.

Brooke looks back at Isaiah.

BROOKE
I already said I’m not telling you.

ISAIAH
Then why are you protecting them?

Brooke takes a deep breath.

BROOKE
I’m not protecting anyone.

SCENE 3 — BROOKE MAKES A DECISION

Isaiah turns away, trying to control his anger.

ISAIAH
I don’t understand you, Brooke.

Brooke watches him carefully.

Then something changes in her expression.

BROOKE
Fine.

Isaiah immediately turns around.

ISAIAH
Fine what?

Brooke swallows nervously.

BROOKE
You want to know who told me?

Cameron’s eyes widen.

He silently shakes his head.

But Brooke has already made her decision.

THE REVELATION

BROOKE
Cameron told me.

THE ROOM FALLS SILENT.

Isaiah slowly turns toward Cameron.

ISAIAH
Cameron?

Cameron freezes.

ISAIAH
You told Brooke?

CAMERON
Isaiah, listen—

ISAIAH
You had no right!

SCENE 5 — CAMERON LEAVES

Cameron suddenly grabs his bag.

He walks toward the door.

BROOKE
Cameron, wait!

He doesn’t stop.

ISAIAH
You can’t just walk away after telling her everything!

Cameron stops at the doorway.

CAMERON
Maybe you should ask yourself why I had to tell her in the first place.

Isaiah becomes completely still.

BROOKE
What does that mean?

Cameron looks back.

CAMERON
You’ll find out soon enough.

SCENE 6 — THE SUSPENSE

Isaiah remains standing in the middle of the room.

His anger slowly turns into suspicion.

ISAIAH
What exactly did Cameron tell you?

Brooke doesn’t answer.

ISAIAH
Brooke?

She looks down.

BROOKE
Maybe you should ask Cameron yourself.

Isaiah looks toward the open doorway.

Outside, Cameron disappears down the street with his bag.

Then Isaiah notices something on the table.

A folded piece of paper.

He slowly walks toward it and picks it up.

His eyes scan the first line.

Isaiah’s expression suddenly changes.

ISAIAH
What is this?

Brooke says nothing.

Isaiah slowly unfolds the paper.

Before he can read the rest, Brooke suddenly reaches for it.

The paper slips from Isaiah’s hand and falls to the floor.

They both stare at it.

One name is written across the page.

A NAME NEITHER OF THEM EXPECTED TO SEE.

Isaiah looks at Brooke.

Brooke looks terrified.

Outside, Cameron keeps walking—without looking back.

FADE OUT

TO BE CONTINUED…

The question is no longer who told Brooke the truth.

The real question is:
WHAT ELSE WAS CAMERON HIDING FROM ISAIAH?
