Anthony Calls Wayne With a Serious Complaint

The day started with a tense phone call. Anthony could no longer hide his frustration, so he decided to call Wayne and tell him about everything that had been happening with Shayla.

As soon as Wayne answered, Anthony got straight to the point. He told Wayne that Shayla had been asking him for $20,000. Anthony was angry and confused, and he wanted to know why Shayla needed such a large amount of money.

Wayne listened carefully without immediately taking sides. After hearing Anthony’s complaint, Wayne calmly told him that he would speak to Shayla himself and find out exactly what was going on.

Wayne Confronts Shayla

The next day, Shayla arrived at the office without knowing what was waiting for her. Wayne approached her and calmly asked, “Shayla, why are you asking Anthony for $20,000?”

The question immediately caught Shayla off guard. For a moment, she stood silently. Then her eyes filled with tears.

Wayne noticed that Shayla wasn’t angry or defensive. Instead, she looked genuinely hurt. She finally began explaining why she had asked Anthony for the money.

“My son Kai’s birthday is coming,” Shayla said through her tears. “I’m asking for the money because I want to do something special for my child.”

Wayne listened quietly as Shayla explained that the money wasn’t for herself. She simply wanted to make her son’s birthday memorable.

Shayla Reveals What Really Happened

Shayla then told Wayne that D’Nisha had allegedly told Anthony not to give her any money. According to Shayla, D’Nisha did not want Anthony spending money on her child.

“Anthony doesn’t seem to care about his own child anymore,” Shayla said emotionally. She explained that Anthony was always willing to spend money on D’Nisha’s child, buying things and making sure that child had everything they needed.

But when Shayla asked Anthony for money for Kai, she said that everything changed. She claimed that Anthony insulted her and refused to give her the money.

Shayla wiped away her tears as she told Wayne how humiliated she had felt. For her, the issue wasn’t simply about the money. It was about feeling that her son was being treated differently.

Wayne Makes a Shocking Decision

Wayne remained silent for several seconds after hearing Shayla’s side of the story. Then he made a decision that nobody in the office expected.

“Shayla, I’ll give you the money,” Wayne said.

Shayla looked at him in disbelief. Wayne immediately took out a check and wrote $20,000.

When Wayne handed the check to Shayla, she stared at it for a moment as if she couldn’t believe what she was seeing. Her tears quickly turned into a huge smile.

“Thank you,” Shayla said emotionally. “You don’t know what this means to me and Kai.”

Wayne simply nodded. He had heard Shayla’s story and decided to help her without making her feel ashamed again.

Anthony and D’Nisha’s Angry Reaction

But while Shayla was celebrating, two people across the room were watching everything. Anthony and D’Nisha had witnessed Wayne handing Shayla the $20,000 check.

Anthony stared at Wayne with a mixture of shock and anger. He had called Wayne expecting him to question Shayla about the money. Instead, Wayne had listened to her and personally given her the exact amount she had requested.

D’Nisha also looked furious. The atmosphere inside the office suddenly became extremely tense.

Shayla, meanwhile, held the check tightly, smiling through her tears. For the first time, she felt that someone had actually listened to her.
