1. Charlotte’s False Sympathy

Charlotte had been spending more and more time around Bethany, constantly presenting herself as the one person who truly understood her.

“You don’t have that kind of authority. This is Bethany’s house, not yours. Who do you think you are to tell me to leave?”

Charlotte continued, becoming even more disrespectful.

Bethany nervously stepped forward.

“Charlotte, please calm down.”

Larry had finally reached his limit.

“I asked you respectfully to leave. Don’t make this worse.”

Charlotte crossed her arms.

“I’m not going anywhere.”

The tension in the room suddenly became unbearable.

Larry opened the front door and insisted that Charlotte leave. When she refused, he tried to guide her toward the doorway.

Charlotte began shouting.

“Let go of me!”

“Just leave the house,” Larry said angrily.

“Bethany! Help me!”

Bethany rushed toward them.

“Larry, stop! Please!”

Charlotte pointed toward Larry.

“Look what he’s doing! You need to stop him!”

Larry stepped back, still furious.

“I gave her every chance to leave peacefully, but she kept challenging me.”

5. The Mysterious Eleven O’Clock Secret

Then Charlotte looked directly at Bethany and said something that completely changed the atmosphere.

“Bethany, if you really want to know the truth, come to me tonight at eleven. Alone.”

Larry immediately looked at Charlotte.

“What truth?”

Charlotte gave him a quiet, mysterious smile.

“The truth that could change everything between you and Bethany.”

She walked out, and the door closed behind her.

For several seconds, neither Larry nor Bethany spoke.

Larry finally asked,

“You’re not seriously going to meet her alone, are you?”
