Bethany, Brooke and Larry’s Difficult Decision
Bethany Takes Brooke to Her Mother’s House
Bethany’s situation was becoming more difficult with every passing day. Brooke had become a major source of tension in her marriage, and Bethany was terrified that Larry might eventually decide to divorce her.
Desperate to find a solution, Bethany took Brooke to her mother’s house. As soon as they arrived, Bethany asked her mother for help. “Mom, please let Brooke stay with you. She’ll be safe here, and I really need you to help me.”
Bethany’s mother looked at Brooke and immediately refused. “I can’t keep Brooke here. She is extremely disrespectful, and I will never agree to have her living with me.”
Bethany Fears Larry Will Divorce Her
Bethany became even more worried. She tried to convince her mother that she had no other option. “If you don’t keep Brooke, Larry is going to divorce me. I don’t want my marriage to fall apart.”
Bethany’s mother was surprised by what she heard. She told Bethany, “I’ll talk to Larry myself. Why would he immediately divorce you? Brooke is his daughter. If Larry cannot take responsibility for his own daughter, then what kind of father is he?”
She continued, “He cannot keep sending Brooke from one house to another. Larry needs to understand that Brooke is his responsibility too.”
Bethany Brings Brooke Back Home
With her mother refusing to take Brooke, Bethany had no choice but to bring her back home. She returned with Brooke, but her mind was still filled with fear about what Larry might do next.
Bethany knew she needed another solution. She believed that if Brooke stayed somewhere else, perhaps the tension inside their home would finally disappear.
Bethany Makes a Request to Larry
After returning home, Bethany approached Larry and explained what she wanted. “You should send Brooke to Lynette’s house. Maybe she’ll be better off staying there.”
Larry listened without immediately responding. His silence made Bethany nervous. She was hoping he would agree, because she believed sending Brooke to Lynette’s house could save their marriage.
But Larry knew the decision was much more complicated. Brooke was his daughter, and constantly moving her between different homes might not actually solve anything.
The Decision That Could Change Everything
Bethany tried one more time to explain herself. She told Larry that she only wanted peace in their home and did not want their marriage to end. She believed that sending Brooke to Lynette would give everyone some breathing room.
Larry stared at Bethany, still refusing to give her a clear answer. Bethany began to realize that his decision would affect much more than their marriage. It could also determine Brooke’s future.
Just when Bethany thought Larry might agree, Brooke overheard their conversation from nearby.
Larry suddenly noticed Brooke standing there. The room went completely silent.
Would Larry send Brooke to Lynette’s house to protect his marriage, or would he finally stand up for his daughter and refuse to send her away?
And what Brooke had just heard could change everything between Bethany, Larry, and Brooke forever…
