Larry’s Divorce Papers
The Shocking Confrontation
The room is quiet. Bethany is standing near the sofa, going about her day, completely unaware of what is about to happen.
The front door opens. Larry walks inside, his face tense, a folded set of papers gripped tightly in his hand. Behind him walks Layntee, uncertain, but staying close.
Larry doesn’t answer immediately. He looks at Bethany, then at the papers in his hand. Layntee watches silently. An uncomfortable pause stretches through the room.
Bethany looks at the papers. Her expression changes.
Larry hesitates, then extends the papers toward her. Bethany takes them. Her eyes scan the first page — then she freezes. Her face turns pale.
Bethany stares at him in disbelief. For several seconds, she says nothing. Layntee remains standing behind Larry, watching carefully.
Bethany raises the papers. Her hands begin to shake. Her voice echoes through the room.
Bethany throws the divorce papers onto the nearby table.
Layntee looks increasingly nervous. She never expected the conversation to become this intense.
Larry glances toward Layntee. Bethany notices — her eyes move toward Layntee.

Bethany suddenly pushes Larry away. He loses his balance and falls to the floor.
Bethany is overwhelmed by anger. She moves toward Larry as he tries to sit up.
But she is too furious to listen. In a burst of anger she confronts him aggressively while he tries to protect himself. Layntee stands frozen in shock.
Layntee finally steps forward, her expression filled with fear and disbelief.
Bethany pauses. She looks at Layntee. The room falls silent. Larry remains on the floor, shaken by what has happened. Layntee looks from Bethany to Larry, completely stunned.
Bethany breathes heavily, her anger still visible. She looks down at Larry.
Larry slowly gets back on his feet, exhausted and frightened.
Bethany picks up the divorce papers, looks at them one more time — then tears them in half. Layntee watches in shock.
Larry says nothing. The room is completely silent.

Larry looks between both women. He realizes the situation has completely spiraled out of control.

The camera slowly moves closer to Bethany’s face. Her anger has not disappeared. Neither has her heartbreak.
