Larry’s Shocking Confession Leaves Bethany Heartbroken

The Argument Begins

Bethany had never imagined that the relationship she once believed was built on love could reach such a painful moment. For a long time, she had believed that Larry truly cared about her. Even when things became difficult between them, she continued hoping that they would eventually find their way back to the happiness they once shared.

But that day, everything suddenly changed. Larry had become extremely frustrated with Bethany, and the argument between them quickly grew intense. His anger frightened Bethany, especially because she had never expected him to speak to her with such coldness.

Larry finally told her that he was tired of the relationship and that he no longer wanted to pretend that his feelings were the same. Bethany stared at him in disbelief, trying to understand how the man she once knew could suddenly become so distant.

Larry then revealed something Bethany had never expected. He explained that for years, he had stayed in the relationship partly because of Brooke. While Brooke was still young and depended heavily on the adults around her, Larry felt that leaving would create even more problems.

But now Brooke had grown older and was capable of taking care of herself much more independently. Larry claimed that he no longer felt responsible for remaining in the relationship for Brooke’s sake.

Bethany Refuses to Give Up

Bethany’s eyes filled with emotion as she listened. She reminded Larry that he had once told her that he loved her and wanted to build a future with her. She desperately wanted to believe that the man standing in front of her was not really saying these things from his heart.

She told Larry that someone must have turned him against her. Bethany insisted that she had never wanted to leave him and that she still wanted to save their relationship. She begged him to remember the good times they had shared instead of allowing one terrible argument to destroy everything.

Larry, however, appeared completely determined. He told Bethany that she needed to accept his decision. His words left her devastated because she realized that Larry was seriously considering ending their marriage.

New Berger Walks In

Just when the situation seemed impossible to control, the bedroom door suddenly opened. Bethany’s father, New Berger, walked inside.

The moment New Berger saw how tense the situation had become, he froze. He immediately realized that something was seriously wrong. Seeing his daughter frightened and distressed completely shocked him.

New Berger stepped forward and demanded to know what was happening. He was furious that the argument had reached such a dangerous level and wanted Larry to step away from Bethany.

Larry turned toward him angrily. Instead of calming down, he demanded to know why New Berger had come there. Larry told him that this was a private matter and ordered him to leave.

But New Berger refused to walk away. He stood between Larry and Bethany, making it clear that he was not going to leave his daughter alone while she was frightened. The atmosphere in the room became extremely tense.

Bethany could not understand what had happened to Larry. Only recently, she believed that they still had a chance to repair their relationship. Now he was talking about divorce as though their entire marriage meant nothing.
