Bethany Rushes Larry to the Hospital as His Condition Takes a Terrifying Turn!

Bethany knew something was terribly wrong when Larry suddenly stopped responding to her. Just moments earlier, he had been standing beside the bed, trying to convince her that he was fine. Now, his face had turned pale, and his breathing had become increasingly difficult.

BETHANY: Larry? Look at me. What’s happening?

Larry tried to answer, but his voice was barely audible. He reached for the edge of the bed, struggling to remain standing.

LARRY: Bethany… I don’t feel right.

Bethany immediately rushed toward him and helped him sit down. Her heart pounded as she noticed how weak he had become.

BETHANY: We’re going to the hospital. Don’t argue with me. You’re not okay.

LARRY: I just need a minute.

BETHANY: No, Larry! You’ve been saying that all day. I’m not taking any chances with you.

She grabbed her phone and called for help. While waiting, she stayed beside him, holding his hand and repeatedly asking him to look at her.

Larry managed a faint smile, trying to reassure her.

LARRY: You’re worrying too much.

BETHANY: And you’re scaring me. Please, just stay with me.

When help arrived, Bethany accompanied Larry to the hospital. During the journey, she kept calling his name, terrified that he might lose consciousness.

BETHANY: Larry, can you hear me? Please answer me!

Larry opened his eyes briefly.

LARRY: I’m here.

BETHANY: Then keep talking to me. Tell me anything. Just don’t close your eyes.

But Larry was becoming weaker, and Bethany could see that he was struggling. She held his hand tightly, silently praying that they would reach the hospital in time.

The moment they arrived, medical staff rushed Larry into the emergency department. Bethany followed them, refusing to let go of his hand until a nurse gently stopped her.

NURSE: Ma’am, we need to examine him. Please wait here for a moment.

BETHANY: He’s my husband. Please, I need to know what’s happening.

NURSE: We understand. The doctor will speak with you as soon as possible.

Bethany stood outside the treatment room, watching through the small window as the medical team surrounded Larry. She could see the doctor checking his condition and giving instructions to the nurses.

She pressed her hands together, unable to stop the tears from falling.

BETHANY: Please, God. Don’t let anything happen to him.

Minutes passed, but they felt like hours. Every time someone opened the door, Bethany rushed forward, hoping for an update.

Finally, the doctor stepped outside.

DOCTOR: Are you Larry’s wife?

BETHANY: Yes. How is he? Is he going to be okay?

The doctor looked serious.

DOCTOR: His condition is critical. We’re doing everything we can to stabilize him.

Bethany felt as though the floor had disappeared beneath her feet.

BETHANY: Critical? But he was talking to me just a little while ago.

DOCTOR: I understand how frightening this is. His condition deteriorated quickly, and we need to continue monitoring him closely.

BETHANY: Please, Doctor. He’s everything to me. You have to save him.

DOCTOR: We’re doing our best. Please stay nearby.

The doctor returned to the treatment room, leaving Bethany alone in the hallway.

She sat down, covering her face with her hands. Memories of their marriage flooded her mind: their happiest moments, their arguments, and the promises they had made to each other.

She remembered how Larry had always tried to hide his pain from her. Even when things were difficult, he would insist that he could handle everything himself.

Now, she wished she had known how serious his condition had become before it was too late.

A nurse approached her with a glass of water.

NURSE: You should try to drink something.

BETHANY: I can’t. I just want to see my husband.

NURSE: The doctor is still treating him. We’ll let you know as soon as there’s an update.

Bethany looked toward the treatment room.

BETHANY: Can you please tell him I’m here? Tell him I’m waiting for him.

The nurse nodded and returned inside.

A few moments later, Bethany heard a faint voice coming from the room.

LARRY: Bethany…

She immediately stood up.

BETHANY: Larry? I’m here!

She rushed toward the door, but the nurse gently held her back.

NURSE: Please wait. The doctor is working.

BETHANY: He called my name! Please, just let me see him!

Inside the room, Larry was struggling to remain conscious. The doctor continued examining him while the nurses monitored his condition.

DOCTOR: Larry, can you hear me? Stay with us.

Larry opened his eyes slightly.

LARRY: Bethany…

DOCTOR: Your wife is right outside. We’re taking care of you.

Larry tried to move, but the doctor asked him to remain still.

DOCTOR: Don’t try to get up. Just focus on breathing.

Outside, Bethany paced nervously, unable to bear the thought of Larry suffering alone.

BETHANY: Please let me see him. I won’t disturb anyone. I just need to tell him something.

The nurse finally agreed to let her enter for a brief moment.

Bethany walked into the room and immediately went to Larry’s bedside. Seeing him lying there, surrounded by medical equipment, broke her heart.

She gently took his hand.

BETHANY: Larry, I’m here. You don’t have to go through this alone.

Larry looked at her weakly.

LARRY: I’m sorry…

BETHANY: Don’t apologize. Just get better. That’s all I want.

LARRY: I should have listened to you.

Bethany shook her head, tears streaming down her face.

BETHANY: We can talk about everything later. Right now, I just need you to fight.

The doctor approached them.

DOCTOR: Bethany, we need to continue his treatment. Please step outside for a little while.

Bethany kissed Larry’s hand before stepping away.

BETHANY: I’ll be right outside. I promise.

She walked back into the hallway, hoping that the doctor would soon bring good news.

But moments later, the monitor inside the room began sounding an alarm.

Bethany froze.

The nurse rushed toward the treatment room, and the doctor immediately followed.

BETHANY: What’s happening? Why is everyone running?

No one answered her.

She stood outside the door, listening to the urgent voices coming from inside.

DOCTOR: Larry, can you hear me?

Bethany’s eyes filled with tears.

BETHANY: Larry! Please answer me!

Suddenly, the doctor stepped outside and looked directly at her.

DOCTOR: Bethany, I need you to stay calm. There’s something important we need to discuss.

Bethany felt her heart stop.

BETHANY: Is Larry going to survive?

The doctor hesitated before answering.

DOCTOR: We’re doing everything possible, but his condition has become much more serious.

Bethany stared at him, trembling.

BETHANY: What does that mean?

Before the doctor could respond, another nurse rushed out of the room.

NURSE: Doctor, he’s responding!

The doctor immediately turned and hurried back inside.

Bethany stood motionless, staring through the open doorway as the medical team gathered around Larry.

She whispered his name one more time.

BETHANY: Larry… please don’t leave me.

And then, just as the doctor reached for the treatment equipment, Larry’s hand suddenly moved.
