Larry’s Sister Threatens Bethany — Larry Explodes in Anger to Defend His Wife!
Bethany had never imagined that a simple visit from Larry’s sister would turn into one of the most painful confrontations of her marriage. She stood in the living room, trying to understand why the woman who had always claimed to care about Larry was now looking at her with such open hostility.
Larry’s sister had arrived without warning. She had barely greeted Bethany before demanding to know where Larry was.
BETHANY: He’s upstairs. Is everything okay?
LARRY’S SISTER: I didn’t come here to talk to you. I came to see my brother.
Bethany stepped aside, allowing her to walk toward the staircase. But before she could call Larry, his sister turned around and looked directly at her.
LARRY’S SISTER: Actually, there’s something I need to tell you first.
Bethany folded her arms, sensing that the conversation was about to take an unpleasant turn.
BETHANY: What is it?
Larry’s sister moved closer, lowering her voice.
LARRY’S SISTER: If anything happens to Larry because of you, I will never forgive you.
Bethany stared at her in disbelief.
BETHANY: What are you talking about?
LARRY’S SISTER: You heard me. If my brother gets hurt because of something you do, I will make sure you regret it.
Bethany felt her heart begin to race.
BETHANY: You have no right to threaten me. I’m his wife.
LARRY’S SISTER: And I’m his sister. I’ve known him my entire life. You think you can just walk into his life and make him miserable?
Bethany shook her head.
BETHANY: I have never wanted to hurt Larry. Whatever problems we have, they are between us.
LARRY’S SISTER: That’s exactly what I’m talking about. You keep saying you love him, but look at what he’s going through.
Bethany opened her mouth to respond, but before she could say anything, a familiar voice came from the staircase.
LARRY: What is going on down here?
Both women turned.
Larry stood at the bottom of the stairs, looking from his sister to his wife. He had heard enough to understand that something was wrong.
LARRY’S SISTER: Larry, I was just telling Bethany something she needs to understand.
LARRY: What did you tell her?
His sister hesitated.
LARRY’S SISTER: I told her that if anything happens to you, I will never forgive her.
Larry’s expression changed immediately.
LARRY: What?
LARRY’S SISTER: You heard me. I’m your sister. I have every right to protect you.
Larry walked toward them, his eyes fixed on his sister.
LARRY: Protect me from what?
LARRY’S SISTER: From her!
Bethany lowered her eyes, trying to keep herself calm. Larry noticed the hurt on her face, and his anger grew.
LARRY: Don’t you ever speak to my wife like that again.
His sister looked shocked.
LARRY’S SISTER: Excuse me?
LARRY: You heard me. You came into my house, and instead of asking me how I’m doing, you started threatening Bethany.
LARRY’S SISTER: I’m only trying to make sure you’re okay!
LARRY: Then talk to me! Don’t take your anger out on my wife!
His sister shook her head, unable to believe what she was hearing.
LARRY’S SISTER: So now I’m the bad person? I’m the one who has to stand here and watch you suffer?
LARRY: Nobody is asking you to watch anything. But you are not going to stand in front of me and threaten my wife.
Bethany looked at Larry, surprised by the strength of his words. She had expected him to defend himself, but she had not expected him to stand up for her so firmly.
LARRY’S SISTER: Larry, you need to understand something. I will not sit back and let her destroy your life.
LARRY: And you need to understand something. Bethany is my wife. If you have a problem with her, you bring it to me.
LARRY’S SISTER: You’re choosing her over your own family?
Larry took a deep breath.
LARRY: She is my family.
The words fell heavily into the room.
His sister looked away, struggling to control her emotions.
LARRY’S SISTER: I can’t believe you’re saying this to me.
LARRY: I can’t believe you thought it was okay to threaten my wife.
Bethany stepped forward, hoping to calm the situation before it became worse.
BETHANY: Larry, please. I don’t want you fighting with your sister because of me.
Larry turned toward her.
LARRY: This is not your fault.
BETHANY: I know you’re upset, but she’s worried about you.
Larry’s sister immediately seized the opportunity.
LARRY’S SISTER: Exactly! At least Bethany understands why I’m here!
Larry looked back at his sister.
LARRY: No. She understands that you’re worried. That doesn’t mean she has to accept being threatened.
His sister crossed her arms.
LARRY’S SISTER: So what am I supposed to do? Just pretend everything is fine?
LARRY: No. You can tell me what’s bothering you. You can tell me what you’re afraid of. But you cannot come into my house and threaten my wife.
For a moment, nobody spoke.
Bethany could see that Larry’s sister was fighting back tears. The anger in her face had begun to give way to something deeper.
LARRY’S SISTER: I’m scared, Larry.
Larry’s expression softened slightly.
LARRY: Scared of what?
LARRY’S SISTER: Scared that one day I’m going to get a phone call telling me something happened to you. Scared that I’m going to lose my brother.
Larry looked at her for a long moment.
LARRY: You’re not going to lose me.
LARRY’S SISTER: You don’t know that.
LARRY: Neither do you. But threatening Bethany isn’t going to change anything.
His sister wiped her eyes.
LARRY’S SISTER: I just don’t know what to do anymore.
Bethany stepped closer.
BETHANY: You can start by talking to us instead of fighting with us.
Larry’s sister looked at Bethany, but her expression remained guarded.
LARRY’S SISTER: I don’t know if I can trust you.
Bethany’s face fell.
BETHANY: I never asked you to trust me blindly. But I have never wanted anything bad to happen to Larry.
Larry moved beside Bethany, placing himself between the two women.
LARRY: And that’s enough for me. You don’t have to like every decision we make. But you do have to respect our marriage.
His sister looked at him, her eyes filled with disappointment.
LARRY’S SISTER: So if I can’t accept her, I can’t be part of your life?
Larry hesitated.
LARRY: I never said that.
LARRY’S SISTER: Then why does it feel like you’re pushing me away?
Larry’s anger began to fade, replaced by sadness.
LARRY: Because you’re making this about choosing sides when it doesn’t have to be.
His sister looked down at the floor.
LARRY’S SISTER: I just wanted to protect you.
LARRY: I know.
For a brief moment, the room seemed to settle. Bethany hoped the worst of the argument was over.
Then Larry’s sister reached into her purse and pulled out her phone.
LARRY: What are you doing?
She looked at him, her expression suddenly serious.
LARRY’S SISTER: There’s something else you need to know.
Larry frowned.
LARRY: What?
His sister glanced at Bethany before looking back at him.
LARRY’S SISTER: I didn’t come here just because I was worried about you.
Bethany’s stomach tightened.
BETHANY: What does that mean?
Larry’s sister held up her phone.
LARRY’S SISTER: Someone called me this morning. They told me something about you, Larry. Something I didn’t believe at first.
Larry stared at her.
LARRY: What did they tell you?
His sister took a shaky breath.
LARRY’S SISTER: They said you were hiding something from Bethany.
Bethany slowly turned toward her husband.
BETHANY: Larry?
Larry’s face went pale.
LARRY: Who told you that?
His sister looked down at her phone again.
LARRY’S SISTER: I don’t know if I should tell you.
LARRY: You came here and threatened my wife. Now you’re telling me someone is spreading lies about me. Who was it?
His sister finally raised her eyes.
LARRY’S SISTER: It was someone who knows you very well.
Bethany reached for Larry’s hand, but he remained frozen.
His sister unlocked her phone and held it out.
LARRY’S SISTER: You need to see the message for yourself.
Larry looked at the screen.
And the moment he read the first line, his entire expression changed.
