Deve couldn’t believe what he was hearing. He knew Amber had trusted Wayne and invested a significant amount of money into their partnership.
DEVE:
“That’s completely unacceptable. You trusted him with your business, and he thinks he can just take your money?”

AMBER:
“I don’t want to lose everything I’ve worked for. I only wanted to build something successful with him. I never expected him to betray me like this.”
Deve reassured her that she wasn’t going to face the situation alone.
DEVE:
“Listen, Amber. Don’t panic. I’m going to speak to Wayne myself. He needs to explain exactly what’s happening, and he’s going to have to answer for what he’s done.”
Amber nodded, hoping Deve could convince Wayne to return everything.

Meanwhile, Wayne was at the podcast studio, behaving as if nothing was wrong. He was sitting comfortably, discussing business matters when Deve suddenly walked into the room.
Wayne looked surprised.
WAYNE:
“Deve? What are you doing here? Is everything okay?”
Deve didn’t smile. He walked toward Wayne with a serious expression.
DEVE:
“No, Wayne. Everything is not okay. We need to talk about Amber’s money and her investment.”
Wayne immediately became uncomfortable.
WAYNE:
“What are you talking about? What happened with Amber?”
DEVE:
“Don’t pretend you don’t know. Amber has discovered what you’ve been doing behind her back. She trusted you and entered a partnership with you, but now you’re trying to take her shares and investments.”
Wayne leaned back in his chair.
WAYNE:
“Look, this is a business matter between Amber and me. I don’t understand why you’re getting involved.”
DEVE:
“I’m involved because you are taking advantage of someone who trusted you. Amber invested her money into this podcast, and you cannot simply make decisions about her shares without her permission.”
Wayne shook his head.
WAYNE:
“You’re misunderstanding the entire situation. Everything I’ve done has been for the business.”
Wayne Refuses to Accept His Mistake
Deve placed the financial documents on the table. He wanted Wayne to look at the transactions and explain himself.
DEVE:

“I haven’t stolen anything. You’re making this sound much worse than it actually is.”
Deve stepped closer to the table.

“Then why isn’t Amber getting access to her own shares? Why are you avoiding her calls? If everything is legitimate, why can’t you sit down with her and explain what’s happening?”
Wayne became defensive.
WAYNE:
“Listen, I don’t appreciate you coming into my studio and accusing me of things. This is my podcast, and I’ll handle my business however I want.”
Deve stared at him in disbelief.
DEVE:
“Your podcast? Amber invested in this business too! You wouldn’t even have this partnership without her investment.”
Wayne refused to accept responsibility. Instead of apologizing, he continued arguing with Deve.
Deve Loses His Patience
Deve had tried to remain calm, but Wayne’s attitude was making the situation worse. He finally raised his voice.
DEVE:
“Wayne, I’m going to make this very clear. Amber wants her shares and her investment money returned. You cannot keep her money and expect everyone to stay quiet.”
Wayne crossed his arms.
WAYNE:
“And what exactly are you going to do if I don’t return it?”
Deve looked directly into his eyes.
DEVE:
“Don’t challenge me, Wayne. I’m giving you an opportunity to resolve this situation before it becomes a serious legal problem.”
Wayne laughed dismissively.
WAYNE:
“You’re threatening me now? You think I’m scared because you walked into my podcast studio?”
Deve shook his head.
DEVE:
“This isn’t about threatening you. It’s about getting Amber’s money back. She trusted you, and you need to take responsibility for your actions.”
WAYNE:
“I’ve already told you. I haven’t done anything wrong.”
Deve became furious.
DEVE:
“Then prove it! Show us the financial records. Explain every transaction. Return the shares that belong to Amber. Stop making excuses!”
Wayne remained silent for a moment. But he still wasn’t ready to admit that he had done anything wrong.
Deve Gives Wayne a Final Warning
Deve picked up the documents and prepared to leave. Before walking out, he turned around and delivered one final warning.
DEVE:
“Listen carefully, Wayne. Amber is demanding the return of her shares and every dollar she invested in this partnership. You need to settle this matter immediately.”
Wayne looked annoyed.

Deve didn’t hesitate.
