THE TRUTH COMES OUT

SCENE 1 — OUTSIDE ISAIAH’S HOUSE — EVENING

The sun is beginning to set. The neighborhood is quiet, but Isaiah stands outside his house, staring at his phone.

His expression suddenly changes.

He has just received a message revealing something shocking — Cameron was the one who told Brooke everything.

Isaiah slowly lowers the phone.

His jaw tightens.

He takes a deep breath, trying to control his anger.

Finn walks toward him and immediately notices something is wrong.

FINN

What happened?

Isaiah looks up.

His eyes are filled with anger.

ISAIAH

I know who told Brooke.

Finn steps closer.

FINN

Who?

Isaiah holds up his phone.

ISAIAH

Cameron.

Finn’s expression changes.

For a moment, neither of them speaks.

The silence says everything.

FINN

Are you sure?

ISAIAH

I’m sure.

Isaiah puts his phone in his pocket.

He turns toward his car.

ISAIAH

We’re going to talk to him.

Finn follows him.

FINN

Isaiah, wait. Don’t do anything stupid.

Isaiah stops beside the car and looks back at Finn.

ISAIAH

I’m not going there to listen to excuses.

Finn watches him carefully.

He knows Isaiah is furious.

SCENE 2 — INSIDE ISAIAH’S CAR — EVENING

Isaiah drives through the streets.

Finn sits in the passenger seat.

Neither of them says much.

The tension inside the car is heavy.

Finn looks toward Isaiah.

FINN

Just promise me we’re going to handle this without making things worse.

Isaiah keeps his eyes on the road.

ISAIAH

I want answers.

Finn nods.

FINN

Then get answers.

Isaiah grips the steering wheel tightly.

ISAIAH

Cameron had no right to get involved.

Finn looks out the window.

FINN

And Brooke deserved to know the truth.

Isaiah glances at him.

ISAIAH

That’s exactly why I’m angry.

The car continues down the road.

SCENE 3 — OUTSIDE CAMERON’S HOUSE — NIGHT

Isaiah’s car pulls up outside Cameron’s house.

The headlights illuminate the driveway.

Isaiah gets out.

Finn follows.

Both men walk toward the front door.

Isaiah knocks hard.

A few seconds pass.

The door opens.

Cameron appears.

He looks surprised to see them.

CAMERON

Isaiah?

Isaiah steps forward.

ISAIAH

We need to talk.

Cameron looks at Finn.

CAMERON

What’s this about?

Isaiah’s expression hardens.

ISAIAH

You know exactly what this is about.

Cameron’s confidence disappears.

CAMERON

I don’t know what you’re talking about.

Finn shakes his head.

FINN

Don’t lie.

Cameron takes a step backward.

CAMERON

I didn’t do anything.

Isaiah pulls out his phone.

ISAIAH

Then explain this.

Cameron looks at the screen.

His face becomes pale.

For several seconds, he says nothing.

Isaiah realizes the silence is an answer.

ISAIAH

You told Brooke.

Cameron finally looks up.

CAMERON

I was trying to help her.

Isaiah’s anger rises.

ISAIAH

Help her?

Finn steps between them.

FINN

Isaiah, calm down.

Isaiah takes a breath.

He looks directly at Cameron.

ISAIAH

You should have come to me.

CAMERON

You wouldn’t have listened.

ISAIAH

You don’t know that.

The argument grows louder.

Cameron tries to defend himself.

CAMERON

Brooke had a right to know!

Isaiah steps forward.

ISAIAH

And you decided you were the one who should tell her?

Cameron doesn’t answer.

SCENE 4 — THE CONFRONTATION

The tension reaches its breaking point.

Isaiah shoves Cameron backward.

Cameron stumbles but stays on his feet.

Finn immediately grabs Isaiah’s arm.

FINN

Isaiah! Stop!

Isaiah pulls his arm away.

ISAIAH

He lied to me!

Cameron angrily steps forward.

CAMERON

I didn’t lie!

Isaiah moves toward him again.

The two men stand face-to-face.

ISAIAH

Then tell me why you did it.

Cameron looks angry now too.

CAMERON

Because Brooke deserved the truth!

Isaiah clenches his fists.

ISAIAH

You could have told me first.

Cameron pushes Isaiah away.

The situation suddenly becomes physical.

Isaiah reacts and throws a punch.

Cameron falls against the side of the car.

Finn immediately steps between them.

FINN

ENOUGH!

Isaiah breathes heavily.

Cameron looks shaken.

FINN

This isn’t going to solve anything!

Isaiah looks at Cameron.

His anger slowly turns into frustration.

ISAIAH

You broke the trust between all of us.

Cameron wipes his face and looks away.

CAMERON

Maybe the trust was already broken.

Isaiah stares at him.

Those words hit harder than the confrontation.

SCENE 5 — THE TRUTH

The street becomes quiet again.

Finn looks between the two men.

FINN

Everybody needs to calm down.

Isaiah takes several steps back.

He looks toward Cameron.

ISAIAH

Tell me the truth.

Cameron hesitates.

Finally, he speaks.

CAMERON

Yes. I told Brooke.

Isaiah closes his eyes for a moment.

The confirmation makes him even more disappointed.

ISAIAH

Why?

Cameron looks down.

CAMERON

Because I thought she was being kept in the dark.

Isaiah shakes his head.

ISAIAH

That wasn’t your decision to make.

Cameron doesn’t respond.

Finn places a hand on Isaiah’s shoulder.

FINN

Let’s go.

Isaiah looks at Cameron one last time.

ISAIAH

This isn’t over.

Cameron watches them walk away.

SCENE 6 — OUTSIDE CAMERON’S HOUSE — LATER

Isaiah and Finn return to the car.

Isaiah opens the driver’s door but pauses.

Finn looks at him.

FINN

You okay?

Isaiah takes a long breath.

ISAIAH

No.

He looks back toward Cameron’s house.

ISAIAH

But I know the truth now.

Finn nods.

FINN

That’s what we came for.

Isaiah gets into the car.

Finn sits beside him.

The engine starts.

As the car drives away, Isaiah’s phone vibrates.

A message from Brooke appears on the screen.

Isaiah looks at it.

His expression changes.

The fight with Cameron may be over for tonight…

But the consequences are only beginning.
