Scene 1 — The Night of the Proposal

The house is beautifully decorated. Soft lights glow across the living room as family members gather around Anthony and Dnisha.

Shayla quietly enters the hallway and suddenly stops when she sees Anthony standing in front of Dnisha.

Anthony takes a deep breath and gets down on one knee.

Anthony “Dnisha, you mean more to me than words can explain. I want to spend my future with you. Will you marry me?”

Dnisha covers her mouth in surprise. Her eyes fill with emotion before she finally smiles.

Dnisha “Yes, Anthony. I accept.”

The room fills with excitement. Everyone begins celebrating as Anthony stands and embraces Dnisha.

Shayla watches everything from a distance. Her smile disappears, and her heart sinks.

She quietly steps backward before anyone notices her and walks into another room.

Shayla “He really chose her…”

She wipes her tears. Her sadness slowly turns into anger.

Shayla “I’m not going to let Anthony walk away from me that easily.”

Scene 2 — Anthony and Dnisha Outside

Later that night, Anthony and Dnisha sit together outside. The atmosphere is calm.

Dnisha “I still can’t believe tonight happened.”

Anthony “I’ve wanted to tell you how I feel for a long time.”

Dnisha “I’m happy, Anthony.”

Anthony reaches for her hand. For a moment, everything seems peaceful.

Neither of them notices Shayla watching from inside the house.

Shayla stands behind the window, her expression filled with jealousy and anger.

Scene 3 — Shayla Makes a Choice

Shayla walks quickly toward her room and closes the door behind her.

Her breathing becomes heavy as she struggles to control her emotions.

She looks around the room and opens a drawer containing a firearm.

After a moment of hesitation, she takes it and leaves the room, overwhelmed by anger.

Shayla “You took everything away from me, Anthony.”

Outside, Anthony and Dnisha are still sitting together.

Shayla approaches them. Dnisha notices her first.

Dnisha “Shayla? What are you doing here?”

Anthony stands up and looks at Shayla.

Anthony “Shayla, calm down. We can talk.”

Shayla raises the firearm toward Anthony. Dnisha immediately becomes frightened.

Dnisha “Shayla, please! Put that down!”

Anthony “Shayla, listen to me. Whatever happened, we can work it out.”

Scene 4 — The Accusation

Shayla keeps the firearm raised. Her voice trembles with years of frustration.

Shayla “You have caused me so much pain, Anthony.”

Shayla “I have been suffering because of you for so long. And after everything I did, you couldn’t even give me the value I deserved.”

Dnisha “What are you talking about?”

Shayla “You don’t know anything about what happened between Anthony and me.”

Shayla turns back toward Anthony.

Shayla “You gave Amber one and a half million dollars. But when it came to me, you didn’t even give me a single dollar.”

Anthony looks ashamed.

Anthony “Shayla, money isn’t the answer to everything.”

Shayla “Easy for you to say.”

Shayla “You made promises. You made me believe that I mattered to you. And now you’re sitting here proposing to someone else like I never existed.”

Dnisha “Anthony, is this true?”

Anthony “Dnisha, please. This isn’t what you think.”

Shayla “Don’t lie anymore!”

The silence becomes unbearable.

Scene 5 — The Final Moment

Anthony looks directly at Shayla. For the first time, he understands how deeply hurt she has become.

Anthony “Shayla, I’m sorry that you feel betrayed. But please don’t make a decision you’ll regret.”

Shayla’s hands tremble. Dnisha slowly steps closer.

Dnisha “Shayla, please put the gun down. We can talk about everything.”

Shayla looks at Dnisha, then back at Anthony. Her eyes are filled with anger and heartbreak.

Shayla “You should have thought about that before tonight.”

Anthony takes a small step backward.

Anthony “Shayla…”

A sudden loud sound breaks the silence.

Dnisha screams. The scene cuts away before any graphic injury is shown.

Shayla stares in shock as the seriousness of what has happened finally reaches her.

Shayla “What have I done?”

Sirens can be heard approaching in the distance.

Scene 6 — The Aftermath

Police lights begin flashing outside the house. Shayla stands motionless, overwhelmed by regret.

Shayla “I never wanted things to go this far.”

Dnisha “You could have talked to us, Shayla.”

Shayla “I was hurt… and I let my anger control me.”

The sound of approaching footsteps grows louder.

Everyone is shocked by the situation. Shayla finally realizes that one terrible decision has changed everyone’s lives.

The camera slowly pulls back.

The beautiful decorations from Anthony and Dnisha’s proposal remain in the background. Flowers still cover the area, and the proposal ring still shines under the lights.

But the happiness of the evening is gone.
