Brooke Tells Larry What Really Happened With Charlotte
1. Brooke Finally Tells Larry Everything
Brooke had been sitting quietly for a long time. Her face made it obvious that something was bothering her. Finally, she decided to go to her father Larry and tell him what had happened.
Larry noticed that she looked upset and immediately asked:
“Brooke, what happened? Why are you so quiet?”
After hesitating for a moment, Brooke finally said:
“Dad, Charlotte came to the house today. She was talking to me about a job. I thought it was just going to be a normal conversation, but then Bethany came in.”
Larry looked surprised.
“Why did Charlotte come to our house?”
Brooke lowered her eyes.
“I didn’t know the conversation would become such a big deal. She was only asking me about a job. But Bethany came in and embarrassed me in front of Charlotte, like I had done something terribly wrong.”
2. Larry Questions Brooke About Charlotte
Larry’s expression immediately changed.
“She embarrassed you in front of Charlotte?”
Brooke slowly nodded.
“Yes. I felt really uncomfortable. I was only having a normal conversation with Charlotte. I didn’t tell her any secrets, and I wasn’t doing anything wrong. But Bethany made it seem like something much bigger.”
Larry remained silent for a few seconds.
Then he asked firmly:
“But Brooke, why did you need to discuss a job with Charlotte in the first place?”
Brooke quickly explained:
“Dad, I was only asking for information. I didn’t think there was anything wrong with that.”
3. Larry Remembers Why He Kicked Charlotte Out
Larry took a deep breath.
“The problem is Charlotte, Brooke. Do you remember why I kicked her out of this house?”
Brooke remained silent.
Larry continued:
“Because she has caused problems before. She tried to create misunderstandings between Bethany and me. More than once, I felt like she was twisting situations around until I looked like the one at fault.”
Brooke immediately defended Charlotte.
“But Dad, nothing like that happened this time. She was literally just talking to me about a job.”
Larry looked at his daughter carefully.
“I understand what you’re saying. But what I don’t understand is how Charlotte ended up inside my house again.”
4. Larry Discovers Bethany Allowed Charlotte Inside
Brooke said nothing.
Larry asked again:
“Who allowed her to come inside?”
Brooke’s silence gave him the answer.
Larry’s expression became even more serious.
“So Bethany knew Charlotte was here?”
Brooke quietly replied:
“Yes, Dad…”
Larry stood up.
“Then this isn’t just about Charlotte anymore.”
Brooke looked at him nervously.
Larry continued:
“I already kicked Charlotte out of this house. If she came back, then I need to know who allowed her through that door.”
5. Larry Decides to Confront Bethany
Brooke quickly said:
“Dad, please… I don’t want this to become an even bigger problem.”
Larry softened his voice.
“I’m not angry with you, Brooke. But I’m not going to ignore what happened to you either.”
He paused before adding:
“I’m going to talk to Bethany first. I need to know why she embarrassed you in front of Charlotte—and more importantly, why she allowed Charlotte back into my house in the first place.”
Brooke quietly watched her father.
But she had no idea that Larry’s next conversation with Bethany would raise even bigger questions.
Because now the real question wasn’t simply why Charlotte came to the house.
The real question was:
