Isaiah Walks In on Brooke and Cameron — Everything Changes

Isaiah Walks In on Brooke and Cameron

Everything Changes

Scene 1 — Brooke’s House, Late Afternoon

The house is quiet. Brooke sits distracted until a knock at the door interrupts her thoughts. She opens it to find Cameron standing outside.

CAMERON

“I know. I just wanted to see you and talk for a while.”

Brooke smiles, surprised but pleased, and invites him in. An awkward silence between them slowly softens into a smile from both sides.

Scene 2 — The Living Room

They sit across from each other. Cameron asks how she’s been.

“Honestly? It’s been complicated,” Brooke admits.

Cameron tells her she can always talk to him. Brooke confesses that with him, she never feels like she has to explain herself. The conversation drifts into old memories and recent troubles, growing warmer and more personal with every minute.

Scene 3 — A Moment of Confusion

As the afternoon light fades, Brooke admits she never expected Cameron to show up. He says he missed talking to her.

Brooke goes quiet. “Things aren’t that simple anymore,” she says.

A long silence follows. Neither of them moves. Brooke suggests they stop before things get complicated — but neither one leaves.

Scene 4 — The Mistake

For a brief moment, emotion overtakes judgment, and they share a quick kiss. Brooke pulls back almost instantly, her expression shifting from happiness to uncertainty.

“We shouldn’t have done that,” she says. Cameron agrees.

Before either can speak again, a car door slams outside. Brooke freezes — Isaiah is home.

Scene 5 — Isaiah Arrives

The front door opens. Isaiah stops cold, his eyes landing on Brooke and Cameron. The room goes silent.

ISAIAH

“What is going on here?”

Brooke tries to explain, but Isaiah cuts her off. Cameron tells him to calm down, which only sharpens Isaiah’s anger. Brooke steps between them, pleading for peace — but her silence when Isaiah asks what happened says everything.

Scene 6 — The Confrontation

Isaiah asks why Brooke never told him Cameron was coming over. She admits she knew he’d be upset.

Cameron tries to defend her, but Isaiah insists it isn’t his place. Brooke finally breaks the tension.

“I made a mistake. I know that,” she says. Isaiah’s anger fades into quiet disappointment.

Scene 7 — The Question No One Wants to Answer

Isaiah walks to the window and asks the one question hanging over the room.

“Do you still want Cameron in your life?”

Brooke hesitates, then answers honestly: “I don’t know.”

Isaiah turns to face her. “That’s the problem,” he says quietly. For the first time, the full weight of the situation settles over all three of them.

Scene 8 — Cameron Leaves

Cameron picks up his jacket, saying the situation isn’t fair to anyone. Before walking out, he turns back to Brooke.

“Brooke, you need to figure out what you really want.”

Brooke nods silently as the door closes behind him.

Scene 9 — Isaiah and Brooke

Alone now, neither speaks for a long moment. Isaiah admits he only expected to see her — not walk into this. He says he needs time.

Brooke’s expression falls. “Are you leaving?”

Isaiah opens the door. “We’ll talk when we’re both calmer,” he says, and steps outside.

Brooke stands alone in the quiet room, realizing that one emotional decision may have changed everything between them.
