SCENE 1 — ANTHONY’S HOUSE — LATE AFTERNOON

The house is peaceful. Anthony is relaxing in the living room, checking his phone while soft music plays in the background. He looks calm and happy, unaware that an unexpected visitor is about to change the atmosphere.

D’Nisha is in the kitchen preparing something to drink when suddenly, there is a knock at the front door.

ANTHONY
“Who could that be?”

Anthony walks toward the entrance and opens the door. His expression immediately changes when he sees Piarry standing outside.

ANTHONY
“Piarry? What are you doing here?”

“Anthony, just give me one minute.”

ANTHONY
“What do you mean?”

“D’Nisha, please don’t leave like this.”

D’Nisha stops but does not immediately turn around.

D’NISHA
“I need to understand what happened.”

Anthony nods.

ANTHONY
“You deserve the truth.”

“Piarry came here pretending she wanted to talk. I told her clearly that I love and respect what D’Nisha and I have.”

He turns toward D’Nisha.

ANTHONY
“When she tried to cross that line, I should have handled the situation differently. But I never wanted that to happen.”

D’Nisha looks into his eyes.

D’NISHA
“Then prove it with your actions.”

ANTHONY
“I will.”

SCENE 8 — PIARRY WALKS AWAY

Piarry finally realizes that Anthony has chosen D’Nisha. She picks up her belongings and prepares to leave.

PIARRY
“So that’s it?”

Anthony answers firmly.

ANTHONY
“Yes. I’m not going back to the past.”

“It did.”
